Casino crypto bonus guide

A casino crypto bonus is a deposit match or extra credit that a casino gives only when you fund your account with cryptocurrency such as Bitcoin, Litecoin, Ethereum or Tether. The match is often bigger than the card version, but the wagering, the coin’s price swings and crypto’s lack of chargebacks all change what it is really worth.

Key takeaways

  • Crypto bonuses reward deposits in coins; they carry wagering like any other match.
  • SlotoCash, Miami Club, Silver Oak and Decode publish crypto-specific bonuses; for Planet 7, Royal Ace and Slot Madness no crypto-only bonus terms appear in the sources reviewed.
  • Many casinos take several coins for deposits but pay out in Bitcoin only.
  • Crypto payments generally can’t be reversed, and coin prices can move while you play.
  • Partner casinos are offshore and not licensed by any US state.

What is a casino crypto bonus?

A casino crypto bonus is a promotion that only applies when you deposit with a cryptocurrency. It might be a higher match percentage than the card offer, a fixed extra amount, or a VIP tier with crypto-specific rates. Like every deposit match, it comes with wagering, game restrictions and sometimes a cashout cap.

The term covers any coin, while a Bitcoin bonus is the narrower version tied to BTC. Our quick answer on what a crypto bonus is gives the short version, and the casino bonuses hub lists every other type.

Why offshore casinos offer crypto bonuses

Card deposits to offshore casinos are unreliable for US players. Gambling transactions carry merchant category code 7995, and third-party payment sources say many US banks decline or block that code by policy, sometimes treating credit card gambling as a cash advance with fees. The legal background is UIGEA, which bars gambling businesses from accepting cards and transfers for unlawful internet gambling. Our card declines page covers the details.

Crypto avoids the card networks, so casinos steer players toward it with bigger matches and lower minimums. Silver Oak’s banking page, for example, lists card deposits at $30 to $1,000 with 3% to 10% fees, against crypto deposits of $30 to $100,000 with no fee. That cost gap is part of why the crypto version of a bonus can look more generous.

Crypto bonus terms recorded at partner casinos

The table covers all seven partners we rank. Primary facts come from the casinos’ own pages; third-party facts come from review sites and may be out of date.

For the last three, standard deposit offers still apply to crypto deposits in the terms reported, so the practical benefit of paying in coins is access and a lower minimum, not a bigger match. Ask live chat whether a crypto-only code is running before you deposit.

Which coins partner casinos accept for deposits and withdrawals

Most of our partners take several coins in but pay out in fewer. Plan the withdrawal route before you claim a crypto bonus.

Crypto bonus math: a worked example

Take SlotoCash’s published BLOCKFALL-1 code: a 100% match plus $50 on a crypto deposit, with 27x wagering. The promotions page summary doesn’t say whether 27x applies to the deposit plus the match, or how the extra $50 is handled, so the example assumes 27x on deposit plus match and leaves the $50 aside. The house edge used is 3.75%, matching a slot with a 96.25% RTP such as RTG’s Storm Lords, as reported by third-party game databases.

  • Deposit $100 in crypto; the match adds $100.
  • Wagering: 27 × ($100 + $100) = $5,400.
  • Expected cost of that play: $5,400 × 3.75% = $202.50.
  • Expected balance at the end: $200 − $202.50 = about $0, before the extra $50.

So the match on its own is roughly break-even against the cost of clearing it, and the result of any single attempt varies widely. A bigger crypto match with the same multiple raises both the balance and the wagering, so it doesn’t change the shape of the math. The bonus value calculator method explains how to run this for any offer.

Coin price swings and why stablecoins matter

Where a casino keeps your balance in US dollars (review sites list USD as a currency at Planet 7, Royal Ace and Slot Madness), your coins are converted when they arrive and converted back when you are paid. Between buying coins and selling them again, the price can move either way. The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau’s 2022 crypto complaint bulletin (opens in a new tab) notes that Bitcoin was down more than 70% from its November 2021 high as of October 3, 2022.

In plain arithmetic: if a casino sends you $1,000 in Bitcoin and the price falls 10% before you sell, you receive $900. A rise works the other way. Stablecoins such as USDT are designed to track the dollar, which removes most of that swing, but not every partner pays out in them; in the table above, withdrawals are mostly in Bitcoin.

How to claim a casino crypto bonus safely

  1. Confirm your state’s law and the casino’s terms before you buy any coins.
  2. Set up a wallet you control and learn to copy addresses carefully. See how to set up a crypto wallet.
  3. Check the cashier for the current crypto code, minimum deposit, wagering and eligible games.
  4. Redeem the code before depositing if the terms require it.
  5. Send the coin to the exact deposit address shown, on the network the casino specifies. Crypto sent to a wrong address is usually lost.
  6. Wait for the deposit to credit, confirm the bonus appears, then play eligible slots within the max bet rule.
  7. Complete verification before you request a withdrawal so the payout isn’t held up.

Crypto transfers generally can’t be reversed. The FTC’s consumer guidance on paying with cryptocurrency (opens in a new tab) notes crypto payments lack the legal protections of credit cards.

What to do if a crypto deposit or crypto bonus doesn't show up

Most crypto bonus problems come from timing, the wrong network or a code entered in the wrong order. SlotoCash's banking page lists Bitcoin deposits as instant to 20 minutes, so a short wait is normal. After that, work through these checks before you place any bet.

  1. Look up the transaction in your wallet and copy its ID. If it shows as pending, the coins haven't arrived yet and the casino can't credit them.
  2. Check the coin and network matched the cashier's address exactly. Coins sent on the wrong network or to an old address are usually lost, and crypto transfers generally can't be reversed.
  3. Check the code order. SlotoCash's terms say a coupon must be redeemed before the deposit or right after it and before any wager, so don't spin until the bonus shows.
  4. Check the minimum. A $5 Lightning deposit may clear the cashier minimum but not a bonus minimum such as the $25 on SlotoCash's BLOCKFALL-1 code.
  5. Contact live chat with the transaction ID, amount, coin and code, and save the transcript.

If the casino won't credit a deposit that arrived, you have no state regulator to turn to, because these casinos are offshore. Our guides to blockchain confirmations and how to deposit with Bitcoin explain the steps in more detail, and how to file a casino complaint covers what to do next.

Withdrawing crypto bonus winnings: caps and times

A crypto deposit doesn’t mean a fast or unlimited payout. Planet 7, Royal Ace and Slot Madness are each reported with a $2,500 weekly withdrawal cap, and Royal Ace and Slot Madness with $5,000 a month. Review sites report pending periods of 5 to 7 days at Planet 7 and 7 to 10 days at Royal Ace and Slot Madness, with no weekend cashouts, and one reviewer says Planet 7 payouts usually take more than a month.

By contrast, SlotoCash publishes Bitcoin payouts of $100 to $2,500 per request, free, within 48 business hours, and a $5,000 weekly limit. Silver Oak lists Bitcoin payouts of $50 to $2,500 with fees of up to $40 and 7 to 10 days. Our weekly withdrawal limits guide shows how caps stretch out a large win.

Crypto bonus red flags and scams

  • A “bonus” that asks you to send coins to a personal wallet or a chat contact rather than the cashier.
  • Wagering that isn’t published, or a multiple of 40x and above.
  • Deposit coins listed with no matching withdrawal route.
  • Pressure to deposit before a code “expires” in minutes.
  • Sites copying a casino’s name on a different domain. See what a mirror site is.

The CFPB’s bulletin reports that fraud and scams were the most common issue in its virtual-currency complaints from October 2018 to September 2022, at 40%, with “money was not available when promised” at 16%. Read crypto casino scams before you deposit anywhere new.

Paying in crypto doesn’t change the law that applies to you. Real-money online casinos are state-licensed only in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Michigan, West Virginia, Delaware, Connecticut and Rhode Island, and the crypto bonus casinos on this page are all offshore. Your state’s law decides whether playing there is allowed; our are crypto casinos legal answer explains more.

Michigan’s regulator named Planet 7 in its April 9, 2025 release (opens in a new tab) and Slot Madness in its August 14, 2025 release (opens in a new tab) among illegal offshore operators sent cease-and-desist letters. Gambling winnings paid in crypto are still taxable income; see our gambling taxes page.

Frequently asked questions

What is a crypto casino bonus?

It is a deposit match or extra credit that applies only when you deposit with a cryptocurrency. SlotoCash, for example, publishes a 100% crypto match plus $50 with 27x wagering and a $25 minimum. It works like any match bonus, with wagering and game limits, but your deposit and payout move in coins. See what crypto do casinos accept for coin details.

Are crypto casino bonuses bigger than card bonuses?

Often, yes, because crypto costs the casino less to process. Silver Oak’s VIP page lists Bitcoin bonuses of 325% to 400% against 250% to 325% for standard deposit bonuses. A bigger match usually means more wagering too, so compare the total you must bet, not just the percentage. Our deposit match explained page shows how to compare.

Which crypto is best for casino bonuses?

There is no single best coin; it depends on what the casino pays out in. Several of our partners accept many coins for deposits but withdraw only in Bitcoin, which means price exposure on the way out. Stablecoins like USDT track the dollar but aren’t always available for withdrawals. Our crypto wallets page explains how to manage several coins.

Can I use a crypto bonus on table games?

Usually not. Bonus terms at RTG and Spinlogic casinos are slot-focused: SlotoCash excludes table games and video poker by default, and Silver Oak applies 60x to them and excludes roulette, baccarat and craps. Playing excluded games can void winnings. If you prefer tables, consider playing without a bonus; see table games bonus for the details.

Is a crypto bonus safe?

The bonus itself is just credit; the risks are around crypto and the casino. Crypto payments generally can’t be reversed, coin prices move, and offshore casinos have no US state regulator. Review sites report slow payouts at several partners. Start small, keep records and read is Bitcoin safe for casinos before you deposit.

What is the minimum deposit for a crypto bonus?

It varies by coin and casino. Lightning Bitcoin deposits start at $5 at Planet 7, Royal Ace and Slot Madness according to review sites, while SlotoCash’s crypto code needs $25 and Silver Oak’s crypto deposits start at $30. The bonus minimum can be higher than the cashier minimum, so check both. See minimum deposits.

Are winnings from a crypto casino bonus taxable?

Yes, gambling winnings are taxable federal income whatever form they arrive in. From the 2026 tax year, the loss deduction is reported to be capped at 90% of losses, so check IRS guidance. How coin price changes after a payout are taxed isn’t covered in the sources reviewed, so ask a tax professional. Our gambling taxes guide has more.

How long does a crypto withdrawal take after clearing a bonus?

Longer than most players expect. SlotoCash publishes Bitcoin payouts within 48 business hours, but Silver Oak lists 7 to 10 days, and review sites report pending periods of 5 to 10 days at Planet 7, Royal Ace and Slot Madness, plus weekly caps of $2,500. See how long do Bitcoin withdrawals take.

Does Miami Club Casino have a Bitcoin bonus?

Yes, Miami Club's promotions page lists a Lightning Bitcoin deposit bonus from $5, though the match size isn't stated beside it. Its general bonus terms set 20x deposit plus bonus at or below a 100% match and 30x above it. The cashier takes BTC, Lightning, ETH, USDT, BCH and LTC, but pays out only in Bitcoin and Ethereum. Its Terms of Use (section 1.6) list the US as prohibited, while the affiliate program confirms US players are accepted, so confirm at sign-up. See the Miami Club Bitcoin page.

Can I claim a casino crypto bonus with Tether (USDT)?

Sometimes, but check both the bonus terms and the payout route first. SlotoCash's promotions page refers to USDT and Ethereum deposits for its BLOCKFALL-1 crypto code, yet its banking page doesn't list USDT, so ask support which coins qualify. Miami Club accepts Tether deposits from $25 up to $2,500, but pays out only in Bitcoin and Ethereum, so a stablecoin deposit can come back as a coin that moves in price. Our stablecoins guide explains how USDT tracks the dollar and where it falls short.

Can new players get Silver Oak's 325% to 400% Bitcoin bonus?

Not as a sign-up offer, because those Bitcoin rates are listed as VIP benefits on Silver Oak's VIP page. Its tiers run from Silver, a $500 instant upgrade, to Elite at $8,000, and the page doesn't publish the wagering on VIP bonuses. New members instead get Silver Oak's published 100% match on each of the first ten deposits, using codes SILVEROAK1 to SILVEROAK10, at 30x on the offer page or 40x in the terms. Crypto deposits there run from $30 to $100,000. See the Silver Oak Bitcoin page for its coin rules.

Do crypto fees reduce the value of a crypto bonus?

They can, though casino-side crypto fees are often lower than card fees. Silver Oak's banking page lists crypto deposits with no fee, while card deposits carry 3% to 10%, so a $500 card deposit there would cost $15 to $50 before any bonus. Withdrawals are different: Silver Oak lists Bitcoin payout fees of up to $40, while SlotoCash says its Bitcoin payouts are free. Exchange and network fees aren't published by the casinos, so check your wallet or exchange before you deposit. Our crypto fees guide shows where costs come in.

Do I need to verify my ID to withdraw crypto bonus winnings?

Yes, every partner's terms or third-party reviews describe identity checks before a payout, even when you deposit in crypto. Silver Oak's terms ask for government photo ID, a selfie with the ID and a utility bill from the last three months, and block withdrawals until checks are done. Miami Club's Terms of Use require proof of identity for all withdrawals, whatever the amount. Third-party reviews say Decode may ask crypto depositors for photo ID, and list verification at 0 to 2 days. Send documents early, using our guide to how to verify your casino account.

Can I claim a crypto casino bonus in Florida?

Florida doesn't license online casinos, and paying in crypto doesn't change that. State law treats unauthorized casino-style games as criminal under Florida Statutes 849.08 and 849.15. In February 2025, the Florida Gaming Control Commission sent cease-and-desist letters to offshore operators BetUS, Bovada and MyBookie, with a "Bettor beware" warning. None of those three is our partner, but our partners are offshore too and hold no Florida license. Players in Jacksonville, Miami and Tampa should read our Florida crypto casinos page before they deposit anywhere.
