About Best USA Casinos
Best USA Casinos is a guide to online casinos for American adults, built on one idea: give US players the straight answer. Launched in 2026, it explains the law in every state, shows bonus terms in dollars and says plainly that the casinos we promote are offshore.
Our mission: the straight answer for US players
Best USA Casinos exists to give American adults a plain, accurate answer to the questions they type into a search bar about online casinos. Is this legal where I live? Who actually runs this casino? What is this bonus worth once the wagering is done? How long will a withdrawal take, and how much can I take out in a week?
Most casino sites aimed at US players skip the hard parts. They repeat the casino's own marketing, leave out the license question and treat bonuses as if they had no strings. We take the opposite approach. We put the legal picture first, we show the money in dollars, and we name the weak points, including on the casinos that pay us.
Real-money online casinos are licensed by the state only in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Michigan, West Virginia, Delaware, Connecticut and Rhode Island. Maine legalized tribal-run online casinos in January 2026, but none had launched by October 2026. The casinos we promote are offshore, and no US state licenses or regulates them. We say that wherever it matters, calmly and without scaremongering, and we explain what it means in practice on pages such as offshore vs state-licensed casinos and player protections offshore vs licensed.

Who the site is for
We write for American adults aged 21 and over (18 and over only where the law allows) who are already looking at online casinos and want facts before they decide anything. Most of them read on a phone, arrive from a search and want the answer in the first two sentences.
- Players checking the law in their own state before they sign up anywhere.
- People comparing offers who want to know what a bonus costs in wagering, not just its headline size.
- Players with a problem at a casino, such as a pending withdrawal or a closed account, who need to know their options.
- Anyone checking whether a casino is legit, including brands we don't partner with.
- Family and friends worried about someone's gambling, who can start at our help for families page.
The site isn't for anyone under 21, and nothing on it is designed to appeal to younger readers. It also isn't for people looking to make money. Every casino game has a house edge, so over time players should expect to lose what they stake.
How Best USA Casinos is funded
Best USA Casinos is an affiliate site, and affiliate commission is our only source of income. When a reader follows one of our links to a partner casino and opens an account, the casino or its affiliate program may pay us. We carry no display advertising, sell no data and take no payment for reviews of non-partner brands.
We have seven partners, always listed in the same order: SlotoCash, Miami Club, Decode, Silver Oak, Planet 7, Royal Ace and Slot Madness. That order is set commercially with the site owner. It is not a score, a test result or a safety ranking, and we disclose it on every list. Readers pay nothing extra for using our links, though the offer through our link can differ from the package a casino advertises on its own site.
The full arrangement, including what payment does and doesn't affect, is on our advertiser disclosure page.
Our independence rules
Being paid by casinos creates a pull toward flattering them. These rules exist to resist it, and they apply to every page.
- Facts don't bend for partners. Regulator actions, conflicting terms, low withdrawal caps and third-party reports of slow payouts go on the partner's own review, even for the first casino in our order.
- Partners see nothing before it's published. No casino approves, edits or previews our pages.
- Non-partners get fair coverage. Brands that don't pay us are reviewed from the same kinds of sources, without links to their sites and without being run down to make partners look better.
- Law comes before offers. We show no offers on our Michigan, Oklahoma and Washington pages, and none anywhere in the responsible-gambling section.
- Sources are labeled. A casino's own terms are described as its terms; review-site claims are described as third-party reports.
Michigan is a good example. The Michigan Gaming Control Board has sent cease-and-desist letters naming five of our partners: Silver Oak and Planet 7 on April 9, 2025, Miami Club and Slot Madness on August 14, 2025 (opens in a new tab), and SlotoCash on October 8, 2026 (opens in a new tab). Each of those actions appears on the casino's review and on our cease-and-desist letters page.
What we will never do
- Describe our partner casinos as legal, US-licensed or state-regulated.
- Tell a reader that playing offshore is lawful for them, or that they will be prosecuted. We report what their state's law and regulator say.
- Suggest a VPN, false details, someone else's account, mirror sites or any other way around a state ban, a casino's restrictions or identity checks.
- Invent experience: we don't claim to have signed up, deposited, played or withdrawn anywhere.
- Make up figures such as RTPs, payout times, license numbers, game counts, bonus codes, ratings or user reviews.
- Present gambling as a way to make money, promise wins or push readers with urgency.
- Use 1-800-GAMBLER as the national helpline. The national number is 1-800-MY-RESET (1-800-697-3738).
- Target or appeal to anyone under 21.
How we keep pages current
Casino terms change often, and so do state laws. Every page carries a "last checked" date showing when its facts were last confirmed against sources. The current round of checks was completed on October 28, 2026.
- We recheck a page when something it relies on changes: a casino's bonus or banking terms, a new statute or bill, or a regulator release.
- We confirm the new figure from the primary source, such as the casino's own terms page or the regulator's release.
- We update the page and every related page that repeats the fact, such as a partner's review, its sub-pages and our best lists.
- We change the last-checked date so readers can see how fresh the facts are.
If you spot something out of date, the quickest fix is to tell us, with a link to the source. Our editorial policy explains how corrections are handled.
Our history
Best USA Casinos launched in 2026. It was built from the start around the US legal picture, at a time when state rules were moving quickly: Maine legalized tribal online casinos, several states banned dual-currency sweepstakes casinos, and Michigan's regulator kept issuing letters to offshore operators. Those changes are tracked on our sweepstakes casino bans and states with legal online casinos pages.
The site is young, and we would rather say so than imply a long track record. What we can show instead is our method: dated facts, labeled sources and a public correction route.
How we research and write
Every page is researched from published sources rather than first-hand play. In order of preference, those are state regulators and statutes, federal sources such as the IRS, casinos' own terms, bonus and banking pages, and third-party reviews that we label as such. Where sources disagree, we say so and tell readers to check the casino's current terms before depositing.
Pages carry the byline of the Best USA Casinos team. Read more on our editorial team page and in how we rate casinos.

Frequently asked questions
Is Best USA Casinos a casino?
No. Best USA Casinos is an information and affiliate site. We don't take bets, hold player money or run any games. We publish reviews and guides, and when you follow one of our links to a partner casino and sign up, we may earn a commission. Any account, deposit or dispute is between you and the casino. Read our advertiser disclosure for how the arrangement works and our contact page for what we can and can't help with.
Who writes Best USA Casinos?
Pages are written and checked by the Best USA Casinos team and carry a team byline rather than named writers. We work from published sources: casino terms, state statutes, regulator releases, federal guidance and labeled third-party reports. We don't claim to have played, deposited or tested anything. Our editorial team page explains how the team works, and our editorial policy sets out the standards every page follows.
Are the casinos you promote legal in the US?
No US state licenses or regulates the casinos we promote; all seven are offshore. Only seven states license real-money online casinos, and our partners aren't among their licensees. Whether playing offshore is lawful for you depends on your state's law, which we set out state by state. Start with your page on the states hub and read is it illegal to play at offshore casinos.
When was Best USA Casinos launched?
Best USA Casinos launched in 2026. It is a new site, so we don't point to a long history; instead, every page shows when its facts were last checked, and we publish our sourcing rules, ranking method and correction process openly. The current round of checks was completed on October 28, 2026. See our editorial policy and how we rate casinos for the detail.
Do casinos pay for good reviews?
No casino pays for a review's content. Our seven partners pay affiliate commission when readers sign up through our links, and that sets their order on our lists, which we disclose. It doesn't change the facts: partner reviews include regulator actions, withdrawal caps and conflicting terms. Non-partner brands are reviewed without payment. Our advertiser disclosure and how do affiliate casino sites make money explain more.
