Crypto casinos Florida residents can reach are all offshore, and paying in Bitcoin does not change Florida law, which treats unauthorized online casino games as criminal. What crypto does change is the money side: faster deposits, payouts that still face weekly caps, fees that vary by method, and transfers that can't be reversed. Here is the full picture in dollars.
No crypto casino is licensed in Florida; paying in Bitcoin doesn't alter Fla. Stat. 849.08 or 849.15.
Published Bitcoin withdrawal minimums at the casinos below start at $100, with weekly caps of $2,500 to $5,000.
Crypto transfers generally can't be reversed, and the FTC warns they lack credit card protections.
Bitcoin's price can move sharply while your money sits in a wallet or a casino balance.

Are crypto casinos legal in Florida?
No state license covers them. Florida authorizes no online casino, whether it takes dollars or digital coins, and the Florida Gaming Control Commission said in its February 2025 cease-and-desist release (opens in a new tab) that unauthorized casino-style games are criminal under sections 849.08 and 849.15. Its message to residents was blunt: "Bettor beware."
Crypto is a payment method, not a legal workaround. The federal UIGEA (opens in a new tab) bars gambling businesses from accepting payments tied to unlawful internet gambling, and it defines that by the law of the state where the bet is made. Our page on whether crypto casinos are legal covers the national view, and Florida gambling laws has the state detail.
Why Bitcoin casinos are common for Florida players
Card payments to gambling sites carry merchant category code 7995, and many US banks decline those transactions or treat them as cash advances with fees, according to payment-industry sources. Offshore casinos lean on crypto because it avoids that card network step.
From Jacksonville to Miami and Tampa, the pattern is the same: a player buys coins on an exchange, sends them to a casino wallet address, and later asks for a payout back to their own wallet. Our card declines page explains why Visa and Mastercard deposits fail so often.
Crypto deposits feel quick, but the speed that matters is the withdrawal. That depends on the casino's review queue, ID checks and caps, not on the blockchain.
Bitcoin casino deposit and withdrawal times compared
The table sets out what each casino publishes, or what third-party reviews report where the casino's own pages could not be read. Times are processing times quoted by the casino or reviewer, not a promise of when coins land.

Notice that both casinos accept several coins in but pay out only in Bitcoin, as listed. If you deposit Litecoin, plan for a Bitcoin wallet on the way out. Our guide to Bitcoin withdrawal times explains the stages a payout passes through.
Crypto casino fees: what is published and what isn't
SlotoCash's banking page lists Bitcoin deposits and withdrawals as free on its side, while its bank wire and courier check payouts carry fees. Even there, two of its own pages disagree: one lists a $50 wire fee and a $60 check fee, another a $60 wire fee and a $30 check fee. Decode's wire fee is reported at $50 and its check fee at $30.
Network fees and exchange spreads are separate. Your exchange or wallet may charge to buy coins, to send them and to sell them again, and none of those are published by the casinos. Our crypto fees guide shows where those costs sit.

Volatility: why your Bitcoin balance can shrink
Coins move in price every minute. The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau's November 2022 complaint bulletin (opens in a new tab) noted that by October 3, 2022, Bitcoin was down more than 70% from its November 2021 high.
Here is a simple illustration. Say you withdraw $1,000 in Bitcoin and the price falls 10% before you sell it: you would receive about $900, before any exchange fees. A 10% rise would give about $1,100. Neither move has anything to do with the casino, but both hit your pocket.
Some players use stablecoins to reduce that swing. Our stablecoins guide explains how they work and what risks remain; note that the casinos on this page list Bitcoin as their crypto payout method.
No chargebacks: crypto payments can't be pulled back
A card payment can be disputed. A crypto transfer, as a rule, cannot. The FTC's guidance on paying with cryptocurrency (opens in a new tab) says crypto payments don't come with the legal protections of credit cards and generally can't be reversed.
The CFPB's bulletin counted more than 8,300 virtual-currency complaints between October 2018 and September 2022. Fraud and scams were the top issue at 40%, and "money was not available when promised" made up 16%. For a Florida player using an offshore site, that means a mistyped address, a fake casino or a stalled payout has no bank to fix it. Read crypto casino scams before sending coins anywhere.
How a Bitcoin casino deposit works, step by step
Buy Bitcoin (or another listed coin) on an exchange and move it to a wallet you control.
Open the casino cashier, choose the coin, and copy the deposit address or scan the QR code it shows.
Check the minimum: for example $25 in Bitcoin or $5 by Lightning at SlotoCash, per its terms.
Send the coins and wait for the casino to credit the balance once the network confirms the transfer.
If you claim a bonus, enter any code before or right after depositing, as the casino's terms require.
Before you ever withdraw, upload your ID documents so the payout isn't held for verification.
Crypto does not mean anonymous: ID checks still apply
Offshore crypto casinos still verify players. SlotoCash's terms require a photo ID and a recent utility bill before any payout, and they may ask for proof of source of funds. Third-party reviews say Decode asks for a passport or driver's license, proof of address, proof of payment ownership and a selfie with ID, and that crypto depositors may be asked for photo ID.
Expect those checks before your first withdrawal. Our guide to KYC documents lists what casinos usually request and how to send it safely.
Taxes and responsible play with crypto
Gambling winnings are taxable federal income whether they arrive in dollars or coins. The IRS sets the 2026 W-2G threshold for slot winnings at $2,000, and from tax year 2026 the loss deduction is reported to be capped at 90% of losses; check IRS guidance. Selling or swapping coins can have its own tax effects, so keep records of every purchase and payout and talk to a tax professional. See keeping gambling records.
Both casinos below list Bitcoin and several other coins in their cashiers, which is why they are the fit for this page. They are offshore and not licensed by Florida or any US state, and Florida's regulator says unauthorized online casino games are illegal under state law, so read that law first. You would have no Florida regulator to complain to and no state backing for your balance, and the casino sets its own terms. We earn a commission through these links, and the order is commercial.
SlotoCash
SlotoCash Casino: $6,000 Welcome Bonus + 60 Free Spins, via our link (new players, 21+ or 18+ where allowed, terms apply). The casino's own welcome package differs; its terms list 25x (deposit + bonus) wagering, a $20 minimum per bonus, no max cashout and a $10 max bet while a bonus is active. It also lists a coded crypto reload, BLOCKFALL-1, at 100% plus $50 with a $25 minimum and 27x wagering; codes change, so check the promotions page. The Michigan Gaming Control Board named SlotoCash as an illegal offshore operator on October 8, 2026 (opens in a new tab). Read the SlotoCash review.

Frequently asked questions
Can I legally use a Bitcoin casino in Florida?
Florida licenses no online casino, and paying with Bitcoin doesn't create an exception. The Florida Gaming Control Commission says unauthorized casino-style games are criminal under sections 849.08 and 849.15, and it has warned residents about offshore operators. Every crypto casino Florida players reach is offshore and outside state oversight. We don't say you will be prosecuted; we report what the law and regulator say. Our Florida online casinos hub sets out the wider rules.
How fast are crypto casino withdrawals for Florida players?
Faster than checks or wires at most offshore casinos, but rarely instant. SlotoCash's terms say Bitcoin payouts are processed within 48 business hours, and third-party reviews report about 48 hours at Decode. Business days only, ID checks and weekly caps can all slow things down. Blockchain confirmation adds a little time after the casino releases the coins. See how long do Bitcoin withdrawals take for the full sequence.
What is the minimum Bitcoin deposit at a crypto casino?
It varies by casino and coin. SlotoCash's terms list $25 for Bitcoin, $10 for Litecoin and Bitcoin Cash, and $5 for Bitcoin Lightning, while third-party reviews report similar minimums at Decode. Withdrawals have higher floors, typically $100 for Bitcoin. Exchange and network fees on your side are extra and aren't published by the casino. Our minimum deposits page compares more methods.
Do Florida crypto casinos charge fees?
Some do and some don't, depending on the method. SlotoCash lists Bitcoin deposits and withdrawals as free on its side, while its bank wire and check payouts carry fees that its own pages state differently. Your exchange and the blockchain network can still charge to buy, send and sell coins. Add those up before you decide a method is cheap. Our answer on do casinos charge fees breaks them down.
Is Bitcoin safe for online casinos in Florida?
It's fast, but it carries real risks. Crypto transfers generally can't be reversed, the FTC says they lack credit card protections, and the CFPB found fraud and scams were the most common crypto complaint, at 40%. Prices also swing: Bitcoin fell more than 70% from its 2021 high by October 2022. Use only addresses from the casino cashier and never send coins to someone who contacts you first. Read is Bitcoin safe for casinos.
Can I play at a crypto casino without ID?
Don't count on it. The offshore crypto casinos on this page verify players before paying out: SlotoCash's terms require a photo ID and a recent utility bill, and Decode is reported to ask for ID, proof of address, payment proof and a selfie. Casinos advertising no checks can still demand documents later, especially on a large win. Using false details breaks casino rules. See why casinos ask for documents.
Which coins can Florida players withdraw from crypto casinos?
At the casinos on this page, Bitcoin is the listed crypto payout method. SlotoCash accepts Bitcoin, Lightning, Litecoin, Bitcoin Cash and Ethereum deposits but lists Bitcoin for withdrawals, and third-party reviews describe the same pattern at Decode. If you deposit another coin, you will likely need a Bitcoin wallet to receive winnings. Our Bitcoin casinos page explains wallets and payouts in more detail.
Do Florida players pay tax on crypto casino winnings?
Yes, Florida players owe federal tax on crypto casino winnings. Gambling winnings are taxable federal income in any form, including coins. W-2G thresholds for 2026 start at $2,000 for slot winnings, and offshore casinos may not issue forms, so keeping your own records matters. Converting coins to dollars can have separate tax effects. The loss deduction is reported to be capped at 90% of losses from tax year 2026; check IRS guidance. See gambling taxes for more.
What is the weekly withdrawal limit at Florida crypto casinos?
At the two crypto casinos on this page, published or reported weekly caps run from $2,500 to $5,000. SlotoCash's terms set $5,000 a week and $20,000 a month, with Bitcoin requests of up to $2,500 each, though VIP status can raise the limit. Third-party listings give Decode $2,500 a week in one place and $5,000 in another. On a $12,000 win at SlotoCash, that means at least three weeks of payouts: $5,000, $5,000, then $2,000. Our guide to weekly withdrawal limits shows how caps stack with pending periods.
What should I do if a crypto casino withdrawal doesn't arrive in Florida?
Start with the cashier and your documents, because most delays are verification or processing, not the blockchain. Check that the request still shows as pending and that your ID and utility bill were accepted. Remember SlotoCash quotes 48 business hours, so weekends don't count. If the casino says it has sent the coins, ask support for the transaction ID and look it up on a block explorer. Florida's regulator can't recover funds from an offshore site, so keep written records of every chat. Our page on casino withdrawal delays lists the next steps.
Can I get a crypto casino bonus in Florida?
Yes, offshore casinos offer crypto bonuses to Florida players, though no Florida law authorizes them. SlotoCash's terms list a crypto reload, code BLOCKFALL-1, worth 100% plus $50 with a $25 minimum deposit and 27x wagering; codes change, so check its promotions page. Decode's homepage advertises a crypto bonus without visible terms. Crypto bonuses are slot-focused like card bonuses, and table games are often excluded or weighted lower. Offers are for new players, 21+ (18+ where allowed), and terms apply. Our crypto casino bonus guide works through the wagering math.
Can I play at a Florida crypto casino on my phone?
Yes, both crypto casinos on this page run in a phone browser rather than through an app. SlotoCash's support page says there's currently no app or software required and suggests adding a home-screen shortcut. Decode's site describes instant play on mobile, and reviewers say it has no app. Crypto deposits work the same on a phone: copy the address from the cashier, then send from your wallet app. Double-check the address on a small screen before you confirm. Our Florida mobile casinos page covers phone play in more detail.
Can I deposit Litecoin at a Florida crypto casino and withdraw in Bitcoin?
Yes, that's how both casinos on this page work, as listed. SlotoCash's banking page accepts Litecoin from $10, Bitcoin Cash from $10, Ethereum from $25 and Bitcoin Lightning from $5, then lists Bitcoin as its only crypto payout, with a $100 minimum. Third-party reviews describe the same set-up at Decode. You'll need a Bitcoin wallet address ready before you request a withdrawal. Swapping coins on an exchange can add fees and may have tax effects of its own. Our Litecoin casinos page explains how the coin compares with Bitcoin.
