What crypto do casinos accept?

What crypto do casinos accept? Offshore casinos that take US players almost all accept Bitcoin, Litecoin and Ethereum for deposits, and many add Bitcoin Cash, Tether (USDT), Dogecoin and XRP. Withdrawals are narrower: most of our partners pay out in Bitcoin only, so the coin you deposit with is not always the coin you get back.

Key takeaways

  • Bitcoin, Litecoin and Ethereum are listed for deposits at all seven of our partner casinos.
  • USDT, Bitcoin Cash, Dogecoin, XRP and Bitcoin Lightning appear at some partners; USDC and BNB are rarer.
  • Withdrawal coins are much more limited: Bitcoin everywhere, Ethereum at Miami Club and Litecoin at Slot Madness (reported).
  • Crypto doesn’t change the law: these casinos are offshore and not licensed by any US state.

What crypto do casinos accept? The quick list

Bitcoin is accepted everywhere, and Litecoin and Ethereum are close behind. Beyond those three, coin menus vary a lot from casino to casino, so the right question is not just “which coins?” but “which coins can I deposit with, and which can I withdraw?”

Among our seven partners, the core trio appears on every deposit list. Bitcoin Cash, Tether (USDT) and the Lightning version of Bitcoin show up at most of them, while Dogecoin, XRP, BNB and USD Coin (USDC) appear mainly at Planet 7, Royal Ace and Slot Madness, according to third-party reviews. For background on each coin, our Bitcoin casinos, Litecoin casinos and Ethereum casinos pages go deeper.

Which cryptocurrencies our partner casinos accept

The table separates deposits from withdrawals, because that gap is the detail most players miss. Primary means the casino’s own banking page; third-party means review sites, which can be out of date.

Where two reviews list different coins, both are shown. SlotoCash is a good example: its banking page doesn’t list USDT, while its promotions page and a third-party listing both mention it. When a coin matters to you, confirm it in the cashier before you buy any.

Miami Club, which runs WGS (Wager Gaming) games rather than RTG, publishes a conflict on eligibility. Section 1.6 of its Terms of Use (v2.1, September 28, 2026) lists the United States as a prohibited jurisdiction, while the casino’s affiliate program says US players are accepted. Confirm you can register and withdraw at sign-up; our Miami Club crypto page has more.

Casino crypto options coin by coin

Each coin behaves differently in a casino cashier. The table counts how many of our seven partners list it for deposits in at least one source.

Stablecoins such as USDT are pegged to the dollar, so your balance does not swing while you play; see what USDT is. If you want lower minimums, our answer on whether Litecoin is faster than Bitcoin compares the two most common coins. The Dogecoin casinos and Bitcoin Cash casinos pages cover the less common options.

Why the coins a casino accepts for deposits differ from payouts

A likely reason is cost: an extra deposit coin is cheap to add and brings in more depositors. Paying out is a different job, because the casino must hold or buy that coin, check the address and take the price risk, so many cashiers settle on Bitcoin.

If you deposit in Litecoin at SlotoCash, its banking page shows your payout options as Bitcoin, bank wire and courier check. You would then receive Bitcoin and pay any exchange costs to convert it. That round trip can also leave you exposed to price moves: the CFPB reported that by October 3, 2022, Bitcoin was down more than 70% from its November 2021 high.

What crypto other US-facing offshore casinos accept

Larger offshore brands publish longer lists. Their own help pages show the range, though they are not our partners and we don’t link them.

  • Bovada lists BTC, ETH, USDT, LTC, BCH, Bitcoin SV and Bitcoin Lightning, with a $10 minimum withdrawal for Litecoin and $75 for Bitcoin.
  • BetOnline lists 16 coins, including USDC, Solana, Cardano, Tron, Shiba Inu and Stellar.
  • Wild Casino lists 17 coins, among them the TRUMP token as well as USDT and USDC.
  • Ignition Casino lists LTC, BTC, BCH, Bitcoin SV, ETH, USDT and Lightning.

A longer list is not a better casino. Withdrawal caps, payout times and complaint records matter far more than whether a cashier takes Shiba Inu. Our best crypto casinos ranking weighs those points for our partners.

How to make your first casino crypto deposit

These steps apply to any coin. The order matters, because a mistake in step four can’t be undone.

  1. Check that your coin is listed in the casino’s cashier, and note the minimum deposit for that coin.
  2. Buy the coin on an exchange or app you trust; our guide to buying Bitcoin for casinos walks through it.
  3. Move it to a wallet you control so you hold the keys for later payouts.
  4. Copy the deposit address from the cashier, paste it into your wallet and confirm the network matches the coin.
  5. Send a deposit at or above the minimum, and wait for the confirmations the cashier asks for.
  6. Upload your ID and proof of address now, before you need to withdraw.

Network fees, exchange spreads and casino card fees all eat into a deposit; the crypto fees guide shows how they add up.

Crypto casino risks every US player should know

Paying with crypto shifts more risk onto you. The FTC’s warning on crypto payments (opens in a new tab) notes they lack credit-card protections and generally can’t be reversed.

The CFPB’s crypto-assets complaint bulletin (opens in a new tab) counted more than 8,300 complaints between October 2018 and September 2022. Fraud and scams were the top issue at 40%, and “money was not available when promised” made up 16%. Our page on crypto casino scams lists the warning signs.

Crypto can also make losses feel abstract. If you notice that, set a deposit limit or step away, and see crypto and problem gambling. The National Problem Gambling Helpline is free on 1-800-MY-RESET (1-800-697-3738), with call, text and chat options listed on NCPG’s help and treatment page (opens in a new tab).

Are crypto casinos legal for US players?

The coin doesn’t change the law. Only New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Michigan, West Virginia, Delaware, Connecticut and Rhode Island license real-money online casinos, and none of them licenses our partners. State law decides what applies to you, so read are crypto casinos legal and your state’s page.

At federal level, UIGEA targets the payment side of unlawful internet gambling rather than the player placing a bet. In practice, an offshore crypto casino gives you no state regulator to complain to and no state-backed protection for your balance.

Frequently asked questions

What is the most accepted cryptocurrency at online casinos?

Bitcoin is the most widely accepted coin, and it is also the coin most casinos use for payouts. All seven of our partner casinos list Bitcoin for deposits, and every one of them that publishes withdrawal methods includes Bitcoin. Litecoin and Ethereum are also on every partner’s deposit list. If you only hold one coin, Bitcoin gives you the most options. Our Bitcoin casinos page explains deposits and payouts.

Do online casinos accept USDT (Tether)?

Many do, but not all of them. Miami Club’s banking page lists Tether with a $25 minimum and $2,500 maximum deposit. Third-party reviews list USDT at Planet 7, Royal Ace and Slot Madness, and LCB lists it at SlotoCash and Silver Oak, though their own banking pages don’t. None of our partners lists USDT as a payout coin. See our USDT Tether casinos page for details.

Can I withdraw in the same crypto I deposited?

Often you can’t. At most of our partners, Bitcoin is the only crypto payout option, even if you deposited in Litecoin, Ethereum or USDT. Miami Club also pays out in Ethereum, and AskGamblers reports Litecoin withdrawals at Slot Madness. Plan for a Bitcoin payout and any exchange cost of converting it. Our Bitcoin withdrawal times answer covers what happens next.

Do casinos accept Dogecoin and XRP?

Some do, but only three of our partners list them. Both coins appear in third-party listings for Planet 7, Royal Ace and Slot Madness, but our other four partners don’t list them. Larger offshore brands such as BetOnline also list them. These are deposit options only at our partners; payouts come back as Bitcoin. Read our Dogecoin casinos page before you deposit.

What is the minimum crypto deposit at a casino?

It is usually $5 to $30, depending on the coin. LCB reports $5 minimums for Bitcoin Lightning at Planet 7, Royal Ace and Slot Madness, and SlotoCash and Miami Club list $5 Lightning deposits too. Litecoin and Bitcoin Cash start at $10 at SlotoCash and Miami Club, while standard Bitcoin is usually $25. Silver Oak starts all crypto at $30. Compare more on minimum deposits.

Are crypto casinos safer than card casinos?

Not in terms of consumer protection, no. Crypto avoids card declines, but the FTC notes crypto payments lack the legal protections of credit cards and generally can’t be reversed. Offshore casinos are also outside any US state regulator, so a dispute is between you and the casino. Crypto’s advantage is speed and access, not safety. Our answer on whether Bitcoin is safe for casinos goes into detail.

Do I need a crypto wallet to play at a crypto casino?

Yes, in practice you need one to receive withdrawals. You can send a deposit straight from some exchanges, but payouts must go to an address, and a wallet you control is the safest place for them. Always check that the address matches the coin and network before you confirm. Our guide on crypto wallets compares the main types.

Do casinos give bonuses for crypto deposits?

Many offshore casinos do, but they come with conditions. Decode’s own site advertises a crypto bonus without showing terms, and other partners run deposit matches that include crypto. Wagering, max cashout and game rules still apply, and table games are often excluded or weighted lower. Read the terms at sign-up before you claim. Our crypto bonus page explains the math.

What is the maximum crypto withdrawal at a casino?

At our partners, a single Bitcoin payout is usually capped at $2,500, with weekly limits of $2,500 to $5,000. SlotoCash allows $2,500 per Bitcoin request inside a $5,000 weekly and $20,000 monthly cap. Silver Oak lists Bitcoin payouts of $50 to $2,500 and a $2,500 weekly limit at its base level. Miami Club caps Bitcoin at $2,500 a week on its banking page and all withdrawals at $5,000 a week in its terms. A $10,000 Bitcoin win could therefore take two to four weeks to arrive. Our withdrawal limits page and weekly withdrawal limit answer explain the caps.

Does Miami Club pay out in Ethereum?

Yes, Miami Club’s banking page lists both Bitcoin and Ethereum for withdrawals, which makes it the only one of our partners with a second payout coin. Bitcoin payouts start at $100, carry no fee, are capped at $2,500 a week and are listed at 48 hours; the Ethereum minimum isn’t listed. Its Terms of Use cap all withdrawals at $5,000 a week. Section 1.6 of those terms lists the US as prohibited, while its affiliate program confirms US players are accepted, so confirm at sign-up. See Miami Club withdrawals and our Ethereum casinos page.

Does SlotoCash accept Litecoin?

Yes, for deposits: SlotoCash’s banking page lists Litecoin with a $10 minimum, alongside Bitcoin, Bitcoin Lightning, Bitcoin Cash and Ethereum. Withdrawals are a different story, because Bitcoin is the only crypto payout option. That means a Litecoin depositor is paid in Bitcoin, with a $100 minimum and no fee, inside the $5,000 weekly cap, and may pay exchange costs to convert. Bonuses need at least $20 per deposit under the welcome terms, so a $10 Litecoin deposit plays without the match. Our SlotoCash Bitcoin page and Litecoin casinos guide compare the coins.

Can New Yorkers legally use crypto at online casinos?

No, the New York State Gaming Commission says online casinos are unlawful in New York, and paying in crypto doesn’t change that. New York’s legal online options are limited to licensed sports wagering, horse racing, fantasy sports, charity raffles and some lottery purchases. The state also banned dual-currency sweepstakes casinos from December 5, 2025. Some offshore casinos refuse New Yorkers anyway: third-party reviews report that Decode turns away New York, along with Maryland, New Jersey and Washington. Our New York crypto casinos page and New York gambling laws explain the rules.

What do Bitcoin casino withdrawals cost in fees?

Bitcoin payout fees run from nothing to $40, depending on the casino and the method. SlotoCash and Miami Club list Bitcoin payouts as free, while Miami Club charges $50 for a wire and $60 for a courier check. Silver Oak lists $0 to $40 for Bitcoin and 5% for Coindraw, plus an 8% fee if you withdraw before wagering your deposit once. AskGamblers reports no withdrawal fees at Slot Madness. Your own exchange or wallet may also charge to convert coins to dollars. Our withdrawal fees guide and crypto fees guide show how costs add up.

What if my crypto casino deposit doesn’t show up?

First check the transaction in your wallet, because crypto can’t be reversed once sent. Confirm the address and network matched the coin the cashier asked for, then wait for the confirmations it requires. If the funds still don’t appear, send support the transaction ID, amount and time in writing. A coin sent on the wrong network may be lost for good. If you suspect a scam, the FTC takes reports at ReportFraud.ftc.gov. Our guide to crypto casino scams and how to deposit with Bitcoin cover the warning signs and steps.
