Best crypto casinos for US players

The best crypto casinos for US players accept several coins for deposits, publish clear crypto withdrawal limits and don't hide fees. Our five offshore partners all take Bitcoin and other coins, but most pay out in Bitcoin only, and weekly caps still apply. Here is how they compare, coin by coin, and what crypto changes and what it doesn't.

Key takeaways

  • Planet 7, Royal Ace and Slot Madness are reported to accept seven or more coins; SlotoCash lists five on its own banking page.
  • Most of these casinos let you deposit in many coins but withdraw mainly in Bitcoin.
  • Crypto payments generally can't be reversed, and coin prices can swing sharply while you play.
  • Paying in crypto doesn't change your state's law or make an offshore casino state-licensed.
  • We earn commission from these partners; the order is editorial, not a test result.

Why crypto casinos are popular with US players

Most US players turn to crypto because their bank won't process the payment. Card networks code gambling as merchant category code 7995, and many US issuers decline that code or treat it as a cash advance; our card declines guide explains how this plays out.

The legal background is the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act of 2006. Section 5363 (opens in a new tab) bars gambling businesses from accepting credit, electronic fund transfers and checks in connection with unlawful internet gambling, which pushes banks toward caution. Crypto moves outside that card system, so offshore casinos lean on it heavily.

That convenience has a cost. A crypto deposit is fast, but it doesn't make the casino any safer, and it removes the chargeback route a card payment would give you. Our crypto wallets page covers the basics before you start.

How we rank the best crypto casinos

Like every ranking on our best online casinos hub, this one sticks to checkable facts, here the ones that matter to someone paying in crypto. These are the questions we asked of each casino, using its own pages where they could be read and review sites where they couldn't.

Which coins can you deposit?Lets you use the coin you already hold and avoid conversion fees
Which coins can you withdraw? If only Bitcoin is paid out, you may need to convert back
What are the crypto minimums and caps?A $100 crypto withdrawal minimum strands small balances

Best crypto casinos for US players, ranked

1. Planet 7 Casino: the widest reported coin list

Planet 7 Casino is reported by one review site to accept Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Dogecoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Tether and Ripple, and another adds USD Coin and Binance Coin. Its crypto minimum is a reported $5 by Bitcoin Lightning. Withdrawal options reported by reviewers are bank wire, check and Bitcoin, with a $2,500 weekly cap.

All of this is third-party, because Planet 7's own site could not be read. One review site's listing (opens in a new tab) rates it with a warning for slow payments. Michigan's gaming regulator named Planet 7 in an April 9, 2025 cease-and-desist release.

2. Royal Ace Casino: six or more coins, Bitcoin payouts

Royal Ace Casino is reported to take Bitcoin, Dogecoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Tether and Ripple, with Bitcoin Cash and Binance Coin added by a second reviewer. Bitcoin is its reported crypto payout route. Reviewers report $2,500 a week and $5,000 a month in withdrawals and no withdrawal fees.

Reported pending periods of 7–10 days make it a weaker pick for anyone who wants crypto speed. One review site reports it does not accept Ohio players. Royal Ace was not named in the Michigan releases checked.

3. Slot Madness Casino: Bitcoin and Litecoin withdrawals

Slot Madness Casino is reported to accept the same seven coins as Planet 7, plus Binance Coin per one reviewer. It stands out because one review site lists Litecoin as well as Bitcoin among its withdrawal methods. A separate review describes crypto withdrawals as typically processed within minutes, while player reports describe 7–10 business days, so treat speed claims with care.

Reported caps are $2,500 a week and $5,000 a month. The Michigan Gaming Control Board named Slot Madness on August 14, 2025.

4. SlotoCash Casino: five coins, published crypto terms

SlotoCash Casino publishes its own crypto banking, which none of the three casinos above do. Its banking page (opens in a new tab) lists Bitcoin, Bitcoin Lightning, Litecoin, Bitcoin Cash and Ethereum for deposits, with Bitcoin as the only crypto withdrawal. Bitcoin deposits start at $25 with no fee and an instant-to-20-minute time; Lightning starts at $5.

Bitcoin withdrawals run $100 to $2,500 per request with no fee, within a $5,000 weekly and $20,000 monthly cap. SlotoCash was named in Michigan's October 8, 2026 cease-and-desist letters. Our SlotoCash Bitcoin page goes deeper.

5. Decode Casino: crypto bonus focus, thin published detail

Decode Casino advertises a crypto bonus alongside a $111 chip on its own site, but its terms page could not be read. Review sites list Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum and Litecoin, with Lightning deposits from $5 and Bitcoin as the withdrawal coin. Reported Bitcoin withdrawals start at $100 with a 48-hour time.

Weekly caps are reported as $2,500 by one source and $5,000 by others. Decode reportedly refuses players from Maryland, New Jersey, New York and Washington.

Which coins each crypto casino accepts

The table separates deposits from withdrawals, because that gap is the biggest practical difference between crypto casinos.

The crypto casino catch: many coins in, Bitcoin out

Every casino on this list takes more coins for deposits than it pays out in. If you deposit Litecoin and win, you will usually be paid in Bitcoin and must convert back yourself. Each conversion can cost a spread or fee at your exchange.

Minimums matter too. SlotoCash's $100 Bitcoin withdrawal minimum means a $70 balance can't be cashed out by crypto at all. Decode is reported to use the same $100 floor, while Royal Ace and Slot Madness are reported at $20.

Crypto casino risks: volatility, irreversibility and scams

Three risks apply to every crypto casino, partner or not. The first is that payments are hard to undo. The FTC warns (opens in a new tab) that crypto payments lack the legal protections of credit cards and generally can't be reversed.

The second is price. The CFPB's 2022 crypto complaint bulletin (opens in a new tab) noted that, as of October 3, 2022, Bitcoin was down more than 70% from its November 2021 high. If a casino holds your balance in dollars but you deposit and withdraw in Bitcoin, the coin's price can move between the two.

The third is fraud. The same bulletin counted more than 8,300 crypto complaints between October 2018 and September 2022; fraud and scams were the top issue (40%), and "money was not available when promised" made up 16%. Fake casino sites and copycat "mirror" domains are a known trap, covered in our guide to crypto casino scams.

How to deposit at a crypto casino, step by step

  1. Buy crypto at a US exchange you trust, using your own verified account. Our guide to buying Bitcoin for casinos covers this.
  2. Move the coins to a personal wallet you control, so the exchange's own rules don't block the transfer.
  3. In the casino cashier, choose the exact coin and network the casino lists.
  4. Copy the deposit address the cashier shows, paste it into your wallet and check the first and last characters.
  5. Send a small test amount first if you're new, then the rest once it arrives.
  6. Claim any crypto bonus code in the order the terms require; SlotoCash, for example, says to redeem coupons before or straight after depositing and before any wager.
  7. Save the transaction ID until your deposit appears in the casino balance.

Our guide on how to deposit with Bitcoin adds troubleshooting for stuck transfers and wrong-network sends.

Crypto casino bonuses and what they really cost

Crypto bonuses are often larger than card bonuses, but the wagering decides their value. SlotoCash's promotions page listed a rotating crypto code, BLOCKFALL-1, on October 28, 2026: a 100% match plus a $50 extra chip, $25 minimum, 27x wagering. Codes rotate, so check the page before relying on it.

Worked example: $100 crypto deposit, 100% match + $50 chip at 27x (assuming deposit + bonus)
StepCalculationResult
Bonus funds$100 match + $50 chip$150
Balance subject to wagering$100 + $150$250
Total wagering$250 × 27$6,750
Expected loss at an illustrative 4% house edge$6,750 × 4%$270

SlotoCash's welcome terms count wagering on deposit plus bonus, and we've assumed the same here; the code's own terms may differ. On these numbers, the expected cost of clearing ($270) is larger than the $150 in bonus funds. The 4% house edge is illustrative, not a published figure for any game. Our crypto bonus guide explains game weighting and max bets.

Paying in crypto doesn't change whether a casino is legal for you. Real-money online casinos are state-licensed only in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Michigan, West Virginia, Delaware, Connecticut and Rhode Island, and the casinos on this page hold none of those licenses. Maine legalized tribal online casinos in January 2026, but nothing had launched by October 2026.

In every other state, no casino is licensed online, and the law on playing at offshore sites differs by state. UIGEA targets payment processing by gambling businesses, and doesn't make placing a bet a federal crime for the player. Our offshore casinos legality explainer sets out what the law says.

Taxes don't change either. Winnings are taxable federal income whether you're paid in dollars or Bitcoin, so keep a record of each deposit, withdrawal and coin price.

Other crypto casinos you'll see

Several non-partner brands market heavily to crypto players. We review them factually and don't rank them:

  • Ignition Casino: its help pages list Litecoin, Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Bitcoin SV, Ethereum, Tether and Lightning, and its terms exclude Delaware, Maryland, Nevada, New Jersey and New York.
  • Bovada: lists seven crypto options and a three-deposit crypto welcome offer; Michigan, West Virginia and other states have sent it cease-and-desist letters.
  • Wild Casino: its help pages list 17 coins, including Solana and Tron, but name no licensing authority.
  • Cafe Casino: publishes a crypto welcome offer and a Curaçao Gaming Authority license number.
  • Stake.us: a sweepstakes casino, not a real-money casino, that lets players redeem Stake Cash in crypto and lists more than 20 excluded states.

You'll also see BitStarz on crypto lists, but its own terms name the United States as a restricted country.

Safer crypto gambling habits

Crypto makes it easy to move money quickly, which also makes it easy to overspend. Set a dollar budget, not a coin budget, and keep gambling coins separate from savings. Gambling is entertainment that costs money, and over time the house edge means most players lose.

If you're worried about your play, the National Problem Gambling Helpline is 1-800-MY-RESET (1-800-697-3738), with call, text and online chat via NCPG (opens in a new tab). The crypto and problem gambling page has more practical steps.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best crypto casino for US players?

The best crypto casino depends on which coin you hold and how you want to be paid. Planet 7, Royal Ace and Slot Madness are reported to accept seven or more coins, while SlotoCash publishes its own crypto terms for five coins. Most pay out mainly in Bitcoin. All are offshore and none holds a US state license, and our order is editorial and commercial. Compare Bitcoin-specific details on our best bitcoin casinos list.

Are crypto casinos safe?

Crypto casinos are no safer than the operator behind them, and paying in crypto adds risks of its own. The FTC notes crypto payments generally can't be reversed, and prices can fall sharply. Offshore casinos also have no US state regulator, so there is no state complaint route. Use only casinos that publish terms, verify your account early, and keep transaction records. More detail: is Bitcoin safe for casinos.

Which crypto can I withdraw from casinos?

Bitcoin is the withdrawal coin at all five of our partners. SlotoCash's own banking page lists Bitcoin as its only crypto payout, and review sites report the same for Decode, Planet 7 and Royal Ace. One review site also lists Litecoin among Slot Madness's withdrawal methods. If you deposit another coin, expect to receive Bitcoin and convert it yourself. The pattern is explained in what crypto casinos accept.

Do crypto casinos require KYC?

Yes, the crypto casinos we cover ask for ID before paying out. SlotoCash's support page requires photo ID and a recent utility bill before any payout. Review sites report Decode asks crypto depositors for photo ID, and Planet 7 asks for ID, proof of address and a selfie. So-called no-KYC casinos may still request documents later. Read our guide on why casinos ask for documents.

Are crypto casino bonuses bigger?

Crypto bonuses are sometimes bigger, but bigger isn't always better. A larger match increases the total you must wager, and the house edge applies to every bet. SlotoCash's rotating crypto code listed a 100% match plus a $50 chip at 27x; on a $100 deposit that can mean $6,750 in wagers. Always convert wagering into dollars first, using the method in our wagering requirements guide.

Can I use USDT or other stablecoins at crypto casinos?

Some of our partners are reported to accept Tether. Review sites list USDT for Planet 7, Royal Ace and Slot Madness, and SlotoCash's promotions page references USDT deposits, though its main banking page doesn't list it. Stablecoins avoid most price swings, but withdrawals at these casinos are usually paid in Bitcoin, which brings price risk back in. See our stablecoins guide before choosing one.

How long do crypto casino withdrawals take?

Crypto withdrawals at our partners take from about two business days to several weeks, depending on the casino. SlotoCash publishes Bitcoin payouts within 48 business hours, and Decode is reported at 48 hours. Review sites report pending periods of 5–10 days at Planet 7, Royal Ace and Slot Madness before payment. KYC checks and weekly caps add time. Our guide to how long Bitcoin withdrawals take explains each stage.

Do I owe tax on winnings from the best crypto casinos?

Yes, gambling winnings are taxable federal income whether you receive dollars or crypto. The IRS sets a $2,000 W-2G reporting threshold for slot winnings paid in 2026, but offshore casinos may not issue forms, and the income is reportable either way. From the 2026 tax year, the loss deduction is reportedly capped at 90% of losses; check IRS guidance. Read our crypto tax basics in the gambling taxes guide.

Does Miami Club Casino accept crypto?

Yes, Miami Club's own banking page lists Bitcoin, Lightning Bitcoin, Ethereum, Tether, Bitcoin Cash and Litecoin for deposits, and it's one of the few partners that pays out in Ethereum as well as Bitcoin. Lightning deposits start at $5, Litecoin and Bitcoin Cash at $10, and Tether runs from $25 to $2,500. Bitcoin withdrawals start at $100 with no fee. Its Terms of Use (v2.1, section 1.6) list the United States as prohibited, while its affiliate program confirms US players are accepted, so confirm at sign-up. See Miami Club's Bitcoin page.

What is the minimum deposit at a crypto casino?

As little as $5 by Bitcoin Lightning at several of our partners. SlotoCash's banking page lists $5 for Lightning, $10 for Litecoin and Bitcoin Cash, and $25 for Bitcoin and Ethereum. Reviewers report the same $5 Lightning floor at Decode and Planet 7. A low deposit doesn't mean a low cashout, though: Bitcoin withdrawals at SlotoCash and Decode start at $100, so a small balance may be stuck until it grows or is played away. Our low deposit casinos list compares minimums across more methods.

Are crypto casinos legal in Washington state?

No. The Washington State Gambling Commission says state law prohibits any online gambling, and RCW 9.46.240 makes knowingly transmitting or receiving gambling information over the internet a class C felony. Paying in crypto doesn't change that. Reviewers also report that Decode refuses players from Washington. Sports wagering is legal only at authorized tribal casinos under tribal-state compacts, not online statewide. What happens if I send crypto to the wrong casino address?

Usually the coins can't be recovered, because crypto transfers generally can't be reversed, as the FTC warns. Once a transfer confirms, the casino may have no way to send it back. Contact the casino's support straight away with the transaction ID, but don't count on a refund. The fix is prevention: copy the address fresh from the cashier, match the coin and network, and send a small test first. Our blockchain confirmations guide explains what to check.

Do crypto casinos charge fees on deposits and withdrawals?

Casino fees on crypto are usually low or nil, but network fees always apply. SlotoCash lists Bitcoin deposits with no fee and Bitcoin withdrawals as free, and reviewers report no withdrawal fees at Planet 7, Royal Ace and Slot Madness. Silver Oak, not ranked on this page, lists 0% on crypto deposits but $0–$40 on Bitcoin withdrawals. Your exchange's spread and the blockchain fee come on top, and converting Bitcoin payouts back to another coin adds more. Our crypto fees guide breaks down each layer.

Is Litecoin or Bitcoin better for crypto casino deposits?

Litecoin can be cheaper to start with, but Bitcoin is usually what you'll be paid in. SlotoCash accepts Litecoin from $10 against $25 for standard Bitcoin, and all five ranked casinos list Litecoin deposits. For payouts, only Slot Madness is reported to offer Litecoin withdrawals; the others pay Bitcoin, so a Litecoin depositor often ends up converting a win. If you'd rather avoid that step, deposit in the coin you'll receive. Compare the coins on our best Litecoin casinos list and Litecoin vs Bitcoin answer.
