Casino Bitcoin bonus guide

A casino Bitcoin bonus is a deposit match, or a higher match rate, that a casino gives when you deposit in BTC instead of by card. Bitcoin is also the coin most offshore casinos use for payouts, so the withdrawal caps, fees and processing times attached to BTC matter as much as the bonus percentage.

Key takeaways

  • A Bitcoin bonus is a match tied to BTC deposits; it carries wagering like any other match.
  • Silver Oak’s VIP page lists Bitcoin bonuses of 325% to 400%; SlotoCash publishes a crypto code at 27x.
  • Bitcoin payouts are capped per request and per week: $2,500 per request at SlotoCash and Silver Oak.
  • A large win from a Bitcoin bonus can take weeks to withdraw under weekly caps.
  • Partner casinos are offshore and not licensed by any US state.

What is a casino Bitcoin bonus?

A casino Bitcoin bonus is bonus credit tied to depositing in Bitcoin. Sometimes it is a separate code; sometimes it is simply a higher match rate for BTC than for cards. Either way, the bonus is credited in dollars, comes with a wagering requirement, and is meant for slots.

It is one kind of crypto bonus, which covers any coin. This page focuses on BTC because it is the coin our partners actually pay out in. For the payment method itself, see the Bitcoin banking guide; for other bonus types, start at the casino bonuses hub.

Bitcoin bonus offers at SlotoCash, Decode and Silver Oak

These three partners publish the most about Bitcoin on their own sites, so they lead this page. Primary facts are from the casino’s pages; third-party facts are from review sites.

Bitcoin-related bonuses recorded

SlotoCashBLOCKFALL-1 crypto code: 100% match + $50 extra$25 minimum; 27xPrimary
Silver OakVIP Bitcoin bonus 325% to 400% by tier, against 250% to 325% for standard VIP deposit bonusesVIP wagering not published in the pages reviewed; welcome terms say 30x on the offer page and 40x in the general termsPrimary
DecodeHomepage headline “$111 Free Chip + Crypto Bonus”No terms visible on the site; review sites list other codes at 25x to 40xPrimary / third-party

None of these is a standing “Bitcoin welcome bonus” with full published terms, which is common among RTG and Spinlogic casinos. Codes rotate, and the casino’s live cashier is the only reliable place to see the current rate. Each casino’s own page, such as SlotoCash’s Bitcoin page, Decode’s Bitcoin page and Silver Oak’s Bitcoin page, covers its cashier in detail.

Bitcoin bonus vs card bonus: what the higher rate buys

Silver Oak’s VIP table shows the clearest Bitcoin premium among our partners. The arithmetic for a $200 deposit at the lowest and highest published rates looks like this:

Silver Oak VIP rates on a $200 deposit
Deposit methodRateBonusStarting balance
Standard deposit, lowest tier rate250%$500$700
Bitcoin, lowest tier rate325%$650$850
Standard deposit, highest tier rate325%$650$850
Bitcoin, highest tier rate400%$800$1,000

A bigger bonus normally means more wagering, because the multiple applies to a larger sum. If a 30x deposit plus bonus requirement applied (the multiple on Silver Oak’s welcome offer page), the $850 balance would need $25,500 in bets, with an expected cost of $956.25 at a 3.75% house edge. That is more than the balance, so most attempts would end before the wagering does. Silver Oak doesn’t publish VIP wagering in the pages reviewed, so ask support before you rely on this.

Card deposits also cost more at Silver Oak: its banking page lists 3% to 10% fees on cards and none on Bitcoin. Read why credit cards get declined for the wider card picture.

How to claim a Bitcoin bonus, from buying BTC to bonus credit

  1. Check your state’s law and read the bonus terms, including the minimum deposit and whether the code must be redeemed first.
  2. Buy Bitcoin at a US exchange in your own name. Our guide on how to buy Bitcoin for casinos explains the process.
  3. Move the BTC to a wallet you control, or send directly from the exchange if it allows gambling transactions.
  4. In the casino cashier, redeem the Bitcoin code if there is one, then copy the deposit address exactly.
  5. Send at least the minimum: $25 for standard Bitcoin at SlotoCash, $30 at Silver Oak, or $5 by Lightning where offered.
  6. Wait for the deposit to credit (SlotoCash says instant to 20 minutes for Bitcoin), confirm the bonus shows, then play eligible slots.
  7. Submit verification documents early so your first Bitcoin payout isn’t delayed.

Bitcoin bonus deposits by coin: minimums at partner casinos

Every partner on this page takes more than one coin, but each sets its own minimums and pays out in fewer coins than it accepts. The table shows the published or reported figures, so you can match a coin to a bonus minimum before buying it.

Crypto deposit minimums and payout coins at partner casinos
CasinoBitcoinLightningLitecoin / Bitcoin CashEthereumPayout coinsSource type
SlotoCash$25$5$10$25BitcoinPrimary
Silver Oak$30Not listedLitecoin $30$30BitcoinPrimary
Miami Club$25$5$10$25Bitcoin, EthereumPrimary
Decode$25$5$10$25BitcoinThird-party

Two points follow. First, a coin's cashier minimum is not the bonus minimum: at SlotoCash a $10 Litecoin deposit is accepted, but the welcome bonus needs $20. Second, because payouts are mostly in Bitcoin, depositing in another coin can mean converting twice, once in and once out, with exchange fees each time. Our answers on what crypto casinos accept and whether Litecoin is faster than Bitcoin cover the trade-offs, and the Bitcoin Cash guide explains that coin.

Bitcoin withdrawal caps, fees and times after a bonus

This is where Bitcoin bonuses most often disappoint. Our partners pay out in Bitcoin, but each caps how much and how often, as SlotoCash’s banking page (opens in a new tab) and Silver Oak’s banking page (opens in a new tab) show.

Bitcoin payout terms recorded

DecodeFrom $100Not stated48 hours$2,500 a week in one listing; $5,000 in other reportsThird-party

Silver Oak’s terms add two more costs: an 8% fee (minimum $4) if a deposit wasn’t wagered at least once, and a review period of 7 to 10 business days before the 7 to 10 business days of payment. SlotoCash’s two banking pages also differ on some non-Bitcoin fees, so check the cashier. More on caps sits in our withdrawal limits page.

How long a big Bitcoin bonus win takes to cash out

Weekly caps turn a large win into a schedule. Here is the arithmetic for a $10,000 balance after wagering is complete, using each casino’s recorded limits and ignoring other delays.

Cashing out $10,000 in Bitcoin under recorded caps
CasinoCap usedMinimum weeksRequests needed
SlotoCash$5,000 a week; $2,500 per request2 weeks4 requests
Silver Oak$2,500 a week (base level)4 weeks4 requests, plus review time
Decode$2,500 a week (one report) or $5,000 (another)2 to 4 weeks4 or more

Silver Oak’s Bitcoin fee of up to $40 per payout could add up to $160 across four requests. Some welcome offers carry a max cashout that would cut the $10,000 before any of this applies, so check the bonus terms too. Our guide on cashing out big wins covers verification and records.

Bitcoin price risk on bonus winnings

Bitcoin’s dollar value changes constantly. The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau’s crypto complaint bulletin (opens in a new tab) recorded Bitcoin more than 70% below its November 2021 high as of October 3, 2022. A payout sent in BTC is worth whatever the market says when you sell.

Simple arithmetic shows the effect: a $2,500 Bitcoin payout that falls 8% before you sell is $2,300; one that rises 8% is $2,700. Neither is part of the casino’s terms, and neither should be part of your plan. If you want dollars, sell soon after the coins arrive.

Bitcoin payments generally can’t be reversed. The same CFPB bulletin reports that fraud and scams made up 40% of its virtual-currency complaints from October 2018 to September 2022. Read is Bitcoin safe for casinos before you deposit.

Bitcoin bonus red flags

  • Unpublished wagering on a “Bitcoin special”. Ask for it in writing before depositing.
  • Payout caps far below the bonus size, such as a $2,500 weekly limit on a multi-thousand-dollar match.
  • Fees on unwagered deposits, as in Silver Oak’s 8% rule.
  • KYC triggered late. Decode is reported to ask crypto depositors for photo ID; better to verify before winning.
  • Excluded games. Bonus terms at these casinos are slot-focused; table games are usually excluded or weighted lower.
  • Bonus codes from unofficial sites. Use the casino’s own cashier and see bonus codes that work.

Depositing in Bitcoin doesn’t change the legal question. Seven states license real-money online casinos: New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Michigan, West Virginia, Delaware, Connecticut and Rhode Island. The casinos on this page are offshore and not among them. Federal UIGEA rules target payment processing, not players, and each state sets its own law; see offshore casinos legality.

State regulators do name these brands. The Michigan Gaming Control Board’s April 9, 2025 release (opens in a new tab) names Silver Oak, and its October 8, 2026 release (opens in a new tab) includes SlotoCash, among illegal offshore operators sent cease-and-desist letters. Third-party reviews also report that Decode refuses players from Maryland, New Jersey, New York and Washington. Winnings are taxable income, and the IRS reporting threshold for slot wins on Form W-2G is $2,000 for payments made in 2026.

Frequently asked questions

What is a Bitcoin casino bonus?

It is a deposit match or higher match rate that applies when you fund your account with Bitcoin. Silver Oak’s VIP page, for example, lists Bitcoin bonuses of 325% to 400% against 250% to 325% for standard deposits. The bonus is credited in dollars and carries wagering like any match. Our what is a crypto bonus answer covers other coins.

Do Bitcoin bonuses have lower wagering?

Not necessarily. SlotoCash’s published crypto code carries 27x, close to its standard reloads, and Silver Oak doesn’t publish VIP Bitcoin wagering in the pages reviewed. A higher match with the same multiple means more total wagering. Always compare the dollar amount you must bet. Our wagering requirements explained guide shows the formula.

What is the minimum Bitcoin deposit for a bonus?

Cashier minimums for standard Bitcoin are $25 at SlotoCash and $30 at Silver Oak, and Lightning deposits start at $5 at SlotoCash. A bonus code can set a higher minimum than the cashier, so check both before sending coins. Sending less than the bonus minimum usually means no bonus. See minimum deposits for more.

How fast are Bitcoin withdrawals after a bonus?

It depends on the casino. SlotoCash publishes Bitcoin payouts within 48 business hours, while Silver Oak lists 7 to 10 days plus a review period, and review sites report 48 hours at Decode. Weekly caps then limit how much you can take per week. Read how long Bitcoin withdrawals take for details.

Do casinos charge fees on Bitcoin bonus withdrawals?

Sometimes. SlotoCash lists Bitcoin payouts as free, while Silver Oak lists fees of $0 to $40 per Bitcoin payout and an 8% fee, minimum $4, if a deposit wasn’t wagered once. Check your own exchange’s fees for selling BTC too, and keep a record of every payout for your tax files. Our withdrawal fees page compares fee types.

Can I withdraw a Bitcoin bonus to a different coin?

Usually not at our partners. SlotoCash, Silver Oak and Decode list Bitcoin as their crypto payout coin, even though they accept other coins for deposits. If you deposited Litecoin or Ethereum, expect to be paid in BTC or by a non-crypto method. Our crypto wallets guide explains how to receive BTC safely.

Is it safe to use Bitcoin at offshore casinos?

Bitcoin itself works as described, but it removes card protections: payments generally can’t be reversed. The casinos are offshore, with no US state regulator, and Michigan has named Silver Oak and SlotoCash in cease-and-desist actions. Start small and verify early. Our are offshore casinos safe answer covers the wider risks.

Do I owe tax on Bitcoin casino winnings?

Yes, gambling winnings are taxable federal income however they are paid. From tax year 2026, the loss deduction is reported to be capped at 90% of losses, so check IRS guidance. How a change in Bitcoin’s price after a payout is taxed isn’t covered by the sources reviewed, so ask a tax professional. See do offshore casinos report to the IRS.

Is a Bitcoin casino bonus legal in Texas?

No Texas-licensed casino offers one, because Texas has not authorized online casinos and paying in Bitcoin doesn't change that. Since September 1, 2025, the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation has overseen the lottery and charitable bingo, after SB 3070 abolished the Texas Lottery Commission. A bill to ban sweepstakes casinos, SB 517, passed the Senate in 2025 but didn't advance in the House. The partners on this page are offshore and not licensed by Texas. Read online casinos in Texas and our Texas crypto casinos page.

Does Miami Club offer a Lightning Bitcoin deposit bonus?

Yes, Miami Club's promotions page lists a Lightning Bitcoin deposit bonus from $5, though the match and wagering aren't shown there. Its banking page takes Bitcoin, Lightning, Ethereum, Tether, Bitcoin Cash and Litecoin, and pays out in Bitcoin or Ethereum; Bitcoin withdrawals run from $100, up to $2,500 a week, with no fee and about 48 hours' processing. Miami Club is a live partner, but its Terms of Use v2.1, section 1.6, list the United States as prohibited while its affiliate program confirms US players are accepted, so confirm at sign-up. See Miami Club Bitcoin and the Miami Club review.

Can I get a Bitcoin bonus with Litecoin or Ethereum?

Often yes, but check the code's wording before you buy a coin for it. SlotoCash's promotions page refers to Tether and Ethereum deposits for its BLOCKFALL-1 crypto code, and its banking page accepts Litecoin and Bitcoin Cash from $10 and Ethereum from $25. Silver Oak lists Litecoin and Ethereum alongside Bitcoin from $30. Payouts at both are in Bitcoin, so you'll still need a BTC wallet to withdraw. Our Litecoin casino and Ethereum casino guides explain each coin.

Can I use Bitcoin Lightning for a casino bonus?

Sometimes, but a $5 Lightning deposit usually won't meet the bonus minimum. SlotoCash accepts Lightning from $5, yet its welcome bonuses need $20 per deposit and its BLOCKFALL-1 crypto code needs $25. Miami Club is the exception among partners, listing a Lightning Bitcoin deposit bonus from $5. Lightning is still useful for a small test deposit to check that an address and cashier work before you send a larger amount for a bonus. See our blockchain confirmations guide and the best $5 deposit casinos list.

What if I send Bitcoin to the wrong casino address?

The coins are very likely gone, because Bitcoin payments generally can't be reversed. Contact the casino's live chat at once with the transaction ID, in case the funds reached an address it controls, but there is no bank or card network to dispute the payment. Prevent it by copying the deposit address from the cashier each time, never from an old email or an unofficial mirror site, and by checking the first and last characters before sending. A small Lightning test helps. Our guides to setting up a crypto wallet and wallet addresses explain the safeguards.

Do I need to verify my identity to cash out a Bitcoin bonus?

Yes, paying in crypto doesn't skip identity checks at the partners. SlotoCash asks for photo ID and a recent utility bill before any payout, and its terms allow source-of-funds checks. Silver Oak blocks withdrawals until it has government photo ID, a selfie with the ID, a recent utility bill and images of cards used in the last three months. Third-party reviewers say Decode may ask crypto depositors for photo ID too. Verify before you finish wagering so your first payout isn't held up. See what is KYC and Silver Oak verification.

Is SlotoCash's crypto code better than its welcome bonus?

For most Bitcoin depositors the welcome match gives more bonus for slightly less wagering. On a $100 deposit, SLOTO1MATCH adds 200% at 25x deposit plus bonus, so $300 needs $7,500 of play, about $300 at a 4% edge. BLOCKFALL-1 adds 100% plus $50 at 27x; if that applies to deposit plus bonus, $250 needs $6,750, about $270. The welcome match must be claimed in order, while BLOCKFALL-1 is a rotating code that may change. Compare both on our SlotoCash welcome bonus and SlotoCash bonus codes pages.
