The best real money casinos for most Americans are offshore sites, because only seven states license online casinos. Read before you play: These casinos are offshore operators. They are not licensed or regulated by any US state, and state consumer protections do not apply. Check the law in your state before you play. Terms marked “reported” come from third-party reviews because the casino’s own terms could not be checked; the terms shown at sign-up apply. How we rank the best real money casinos
A real money casino is one where you deposit dollars (or crypto) and can withdraw winnings, as opposed to a free-play or sweepstakes casino. We judged our partners on things you can check, not on marketing claims. The hub for every ranked list is our best online casinos page.

Are real money online casinos legal in the USA?
Real money online casinos are licensed by the state in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Michigan, West Virginia, Delaware, Connecticut and Rhode Island. Maine legalized tribal-run online casinos in January 2026, but nothing had launched by October 2026 and a lawsuit is pending. Our list of states with legal online casinos covers each one.
Everywhere else, no state licenses online casinos, so the sites US players see are offshore. The partners ranked below are licensed, if at all, outside the US. That means no state regulator to complain to, no state-backed protection of your balance, and terms that the casino sets and can change.
The best real money casinos for US players, ranked
Each entry sticks to facts that bear on playing for real money: the offer through our link, the published or reported terms, how money goes in and out, and the weak points. Where a fact comes from review sites rather than the casino itself, we say so.
1. Planet 7 Casino
Planet 7 Casino runs RealTime Gaming software; one third-party listing counts 347 slots, all from RTG, and reviewers report no live dealer. Its own site could not be read, so every term here comes from review sites. Reviewers name different operators (BTK Ltd or Ace Revenue Group) and different license positions (Costa Rica, or none at all).
Third-party reviews report a $30 card minimum, a $5 Bitcoin Lightning minimum and a $2,500 weekly withdrawal cap. AskGamblers reports pending periods of 5–7 days and no weekend cashouts, while another says payouts usually take more than a month. Planet 7 was named in Michigan's April 9, 2025 cease-and-desist release.
2. Royal Ace Casino
Royal Ace Casino is another RTG casino with a reported 356 slots. Reviewers again disagree on the operator (Emoney Processing Ltd., Primrose Media Limited or Ace Revenue Group) and the license (Costa Rica or none). Casino.guru reports that it does not accept players from Ohio.
Reported banking terms: a $30 card minimum, a $20 withdrawal minimum, $2,500 a week and $5,000 a month in withdrawals, and no withdrawal fees. Reported times run from a 7–10 day pending period to 10–14 days for bank transfers. It was not named in the Michigan releases checked.
3. Slot Madness Casino
Slot Madness Casino is an RTG and SpinLogic casino with reported titles such as Cash Bandits 3, Aztec's Millions and Sweet 16 in its lobby. Reviewers name Primrose Media Limited, EH Gaming Ventures or Ace Revenue Group as operator, and report Anjouan, Costa Rica or no license.
Reported caps match Royal Ace: $2,500 a week and $5,000 a month, with a $20 withdrawal minimum. Player reports describe payouts of 7–10 business days. The Michigan Gaming Control Board named Slot Madness on August 14, 2025.
4. SlotoCash Casino
SlotoCash Casino publishes the most detail of any casino here, which is why its numbers are firmer. The casino's site says it has been online since 2007 and calls itself a flagship partner of SpinLogic Gaming. It names no license or operator; it is widely reported as a Deckmedia N.V. brand, and third parties report Curaçao or Netherlands Antilles licensing.
The casino's banking page lists Visa, Mastercard and American Express deposits from $25, plus five cryptocurrencies. Withdrawals run by Bitcoin, bank wire or courier check, with a $5,000 weekly and $20,000 monthly cap. SlotoCash was named in Michigan's October 8, 2026 cease-and-desist letters.
5. Decode Casino
Decode Casino launched in 2024, according to two review sites, and its own site describes 300+ RTG slots. The site is built in a way that its terms could not be read, so its banking and bonus details are third-party. No operator is disclosed, and reviewers list Curaçao without a number.
Reviewers report Bitcoin withdrawals from $100 with a 48-hour time, and weekly caps of either $2,500 or $5,000 depending on the source. VegasSlotsOnline reports that Decode refuses players from Maryland, New Jersey, New York and Washington. It was not named in the 2025 Michigan releases checked.

This table puts the key numbers side by side. "Primary" means the casino's own site; "third-party" means review sites.
What a real money casino bonus is worth in dollars
A deposit bonus is a loan of play money with conditions, not cash. The key number is the wagering requirement, explained in our guide to wagering requirements. The worked example below uses the welcome terms that one review site reports for Royal Ace: 200% match, 30x deposit plus bonus on slots, and a max cashout of 10x the deposit.
Worked example: a $100 deposit with a 200% match at 30x (deposit + bonus)

On these numbers the expected cost of clearing the bonus ($360) is larger than the bonus itself ($200). Some players still finish ahead because results vary, but the average player does not. The 4% figure is an illustration, not the published return of any game; check each game's RTP in its help screen.
Real money deposits and withdrawals at offshore casinos
Card deposits often fail at offshore casinos because many US banks block gambling transactions coded MCC 7995. That is why Bitcoin and other crypto dominate offshore banking; our Bitcoin banking page explains the crypto route.
Withdrawals are slower and more limited than deposits. At these five casinos the main payout routes are Bitcoin, bank wire and check, and weekly caps apply. Typical first-withdrawal steps:
Send ID documents early. SlotoCash, for example, asks for photo ID and a recent utility bill before any payout, per its support page.
Clear or cancel any active bonus, since most casinos block withdrawals while wagering is outstanding.
Choose a method the casino lists for withdrawals; deposit methods such as cards are often deposit-only.
Request an amount between the method's minimum and the weekly cap.
Note the request date and keep screenshots of the cashier and any chat transcripts.
If the payment stalls past the published time, contact support in writing.
Weekly and monthly caps stack up for larger balances, so a big win can take several weeks to reach you in full.
Other real money casinos you'll see
Plenty of other offshore brands advertise to US players. We review them factually but don't rank or promote them. A few you'll meet often:
Bovada: its help pages list 20 excluded jurisdictions, including DC, and the Michigan Gaming Control Board sent a cease-and-desist to its named operator, Harp Media B.V., in May 2024.
Ignition Casino: its terms name Anjouan licensing and exclude Delaware, Maryland, Nevada, New Jersey and New York.
Red Dog Casino: its terms publish an Anjouan license number and exclude Kansas and Michigan; Michigan named it on April 9, 2025.
Raging Bull Slots: an RTG casino whose terms name Primrose Media Limited and an Anjouan license.
BetOnline: named in Michigan cease-and-desist actions in 2025 and 2026, per news reports and the board's own release.
None of these brands holds a US state license either. If you live in a licensing state, a state-licensed casino gives you protections no offshore site can; our guide to offshore vs state-licensed casinos sets out the differences.
Bonus terms that state wagering, max cashout and eligible games
Listed fees for each withdrawal method
Cons
Terms that contradict each other (SlotoCash's two banking pages list different wire and check fees)
No operator or license anywhere on the site
Reported payout times far longer than the casino states
Repeated state cease-and-desist letters
Watch too for other warning signs, including bonus terms that let a casino void winnings for vague reasons.
Taxes on real money casino winnings
Gambling winnings are taxable federal income whether the casino is state-licensed or offshore. The IRS instructions for Form W-2G (opens in a new tab) set a $2,000 reporting threshold for slot, bingo and keno winnings paid in 2026. Offshore casinos may not issue a W-2G, but the income is still reportable.
From the 2026 tax year, the 2025 federal tax law reportedly caps the gambling loss deduction at 90% of losses, still limited to your gambling winnings; check current IRS guidance before you file. Keeping records of every deposit and withdrawal makes this far easier.
Playing for real money within your limits
Real money gambling is entertainment that costs money. Over time the house edge means most players lose, so set a budget you are comfortable losing and stop when it is gone. Deposit limits, time-outs and self-exclusion are useful tools; SlotoCash's responsible gaming page, for instance, offers deposit and time limits on request.
If gambling stops being fun, the National Problem Gambling Helpline run by NCPG is 1-800-MY-RESET (1-800-697-3738), with call, text and chat options listed by NCPG (opens in a new tab). Our help and support page lists state programs, Gamblers Anonymous and blocking tools such as Gamban and BetBlocker.

Decode Casino: $5,000 Welcome Bonus + 50 Free Spins, via our link (new players, 21+ or 18+ where allowed, terms apply). Its own terms could not be read; review sites report codes such as DECODE111 (111% up to $1,111, 25x, $25 minimum).
Free spins and bonus funds are for slots; table games are usually excluded or count for less, so check the terms. The package shown at sign-up may differ from what review sites list, and the terms shown at sign-up are the ones that apply. Codes change often.

Frequently asked questions
What is the best real money casino in the USA?
There is no single best real money casino for every American, because the answer depends on your state. In the seven licensing states, a state-licensed casino offers protections no offshore site can. Elsewhere, our ranked partners are offshore, and we order them editorially and commercially, not by test results. SlotoCash publishes the most detail about its terms and caps, while Planet 7, Royal Ace and Slot Madness rely on third-party reports. Compare them on our casino comparisons page.
Are real money online casinos legal in my state?
Real money online casinos are state-licensed only in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Michigan, West Virginia, Delaware, Connecticut and Rhode Island. Maine passed a tribal online casino law in January 2026, but no site had launched by October 2026. In other states no casino holds a state license, and the law on playing at offshore sites differs from state to state. Read what your own state's law says on our states hub.
Which real money casino pays out fastest?
Among our partners, SlotoCash publishes the shortest Bitcoin processing time: two business days, or within 48 business hours on its payout page. Decode is reported at 48 hours for Bitcoin. Reviewers report pending periods of 5–10 days at Planet 7, Royal Ace and Slot Madness, and one says payouts can take over a month. Weekly caps also slow large wins. See our fast payout casinos ranking.
Can I use a credit card at real money casinos?
You can try, but many US banks decline card payments to offshore casinos. Gambling transactions use merchant category code 7995, and many issuers block that code by default or treat the payment as a cash advance with fees. SlotoCash lists Visa, Mastercard and Amex deposits from $25, but cards are rarely available for withdrawals. Most players fund offshore accounts with crypto instead. Our card declines guide explains why.
Are real money casino bonuses worth it?
A real money casino bonus is worth less than its headline because of wagering. A $200 bonus on a $100 deposit at 30x deposit plus bonus means $9,000 in bets; at an illustrative 4% house edge that is $360 of expected losses, more than the bonus. Max cashout caps can also limit what you keep. Bonuses suit players who would play that volume anyway. Our bonus value calculator method shows the math.
Do offshore real money casinos actually pay out?
Review sites report that the partners on this list do pay, but often slowly and within weekly caps. One review site says Royal Ace and Planet 7 players 'may experience slower payouts', and another says payouts usually take more than a month at some brands. Complaints about delays and document requests are common. Because no US state regulates these casinos, you have no state complaint route. See do offshore casinos pay out.
What is the minimum deposit at a real money casino?
Minimum deposits at our partners usually start at $25 to $30 for cards and $5 for Bitcoin Lightning. SlotoCash's own banking page lists $25 for cards and Bitcoin, $10 for Litecoin and Bitcoin Cash, and $5 for Lightning. Reviewers report $30 card minimums at Planet 7, Royal Ace and Slot Madness. Bonus minimums can differ from cashier minimums, so check the offer terms. Our minimum deposits guide covers more.
Do I need ID to play at a real money casino?
Yes, you will almost always need ID before your first withdrawal. SlotoCash's support page asks for photo ID and a recent utility bill, and review sites report that Planet 7 also asks for a selfie with ID and a card verification form. Sending documents before you request a payout avoids delays later. Never use someone else's documents or account. Our guides to verifying your casino account lists what is usually requested.
Is it legal to play real money online casinos in Florida?
No state license exists for real money online casinos in Florida, and unauthorized casino-style games are criminal under Florida Statutes 849.08 and 849.15. The Florida Gaming Control Commission regulates gambling there, and the only lawful online sportsbook is the Seminole Tribe's Hard Rock Bet. In February 2025 the commission sent cease-and-desist letters to offshore sportsbooks including Bovada, warning players to beware. The casinos ranked on this page are offshore and hold no Florida license. Read our Florida online casino guide or the short answer on playing online casinos in Florida.
What are the withdrawal limits at real money casinos?
Real money casinos on this list cap withdrawals at $2,500 to $5,000 a week. SlotoCash's own terms set $5,000 a week and $20,000 a month, while reviewers report $2,500 a week and $5,000 a month at Royal Ace and Slot Madness, and $2,500 a week at Planet 7. On a $12,000 win, a $2,500 weekly cap means five weekly payments, the last one partial; at $5,000 a week it takes three. Check the cap before you chase a big jackpot. Our weekly withdrawal limits guide explains how caps stack.
Can I play real money casino games on my phone?
Yes, all five ranked casinos run in a mobile browser, though none offers an app in the App Store or Google Play. SlotoCash's site says no app or software is required and suggests a home-screen shortcut instead. Third-party reviews describe instant play on Android and iPhone at Planet 7, Slot Madness and Decode, with download clients also listed for some RTG brands. Real money apps for offshore casinos are rarely allowed in US app stores. Compare options on our best mobile casinos list or read why there is no casino app in the App Store.
Do offshore real money casinos report my winnings to the IRS?
Offshore real money casinos may not issue a Form W-2G, but your winnings are still taxable federal income. The IRS rules apply whether the casino is state-licensed or offshore, and the W-2G reporting threshold for slot, bingo and keno wins paid in 2026 is $2,000. From tax year 2026, the loss deduction is reportedly capped at 90% of losses and still limited to your winnings, so check IRS guidance. Keep a log of deposits, withdrawals and dates. Our gambling taxes guide covers the rules, and keeping gambling records shows what to save.
What should I do if a real money casino won't pay my withdrawal?
Start by asking support in writing why the withdrawal is held, because most delays come from missing documents, an active bonus or a weekly cap. Send any requested ID, keep chat transcripts and note every date. If the casino still stalls past its published time, you can file a complaint with a review site's mediation service, but no US state regulator oversees these offshore casinos, so there is no state route. Never chase losses or redeposit while waiting. Our casino withdrawal delays guide and complaint steps walk through it.
Which real money casinos accept Bitcoin?
All five ranked casinos accept Bitcoin, and Bitcoin is the main payout method at each. SlotoCash's own banking page lists Bitcoin, Bitcoin Lightning, Litecoin, Bitcoin Cash and Ethereum deposits, with Bitcoin as its crypto withdrawal option from $100. Reviewers list Bitcoin plus coins such as Litecoin, Ethereum and Tether at Planet 7, Royal Ace and Slot Madness, and report Bitcoin payouts from $100 at Decode. Crypto avoids most card declines but is irreversible, so double-check wallet addresses. See our best Bitcoin casinos list for a crypto-focused ranking.
