USDT Tether casinos let you deposit a dollar-pegged stablecoin instead of Bitcoin, which removes most of the price swing on the way in. Among the offshore casinos we cover, Tether is mostly reported by review sites rather than published by the casinos, and none publishes USDT withdrawals, so you still need a plan for getting paid in Bitcoin.

What USDT Tether is and why casino players use it
USDT, issued by Tether, is a stablecoin: a crypto token designed to hold a steady value of one US dollar. Players use it at offshore casinos because it moves money over a blockchain, avoiding the card declines that hit gambling payments, without the large price swings of Bitcoin or Ethereum.
A stablecoin is not a bank deposit, and the peg depends on the issuer. Treat USDT as a payment tool, not as a savings account. Our banking methods hub compares it with cards, wires and other coins.
One practical detail sets USDT apart from Bitcoin. Tether exists on several blockchains, so the same token can be sent over different networks. A casino’s USDT address belongs to one specific network, and sending on a different one is a common way to lose a deposit.
Are USDT Tether casinos legal in the US?
Using a stablecoin doesn’t make an offshore casino lawful or unlawful; state law decides that. Real-money online casinos are state-licensed only in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Michigan, West Virginia, Delaware, Connecticut and Rhode Island. Maine legalized tribal online casinos in January 2026, but none had launched by October 2026. No state licenses offshore USDT casinos.
The federal UIGEA payment rule, 31 U.S.C. § 5363 (opens in a new tab), stops gambling businesses from accepting credit, electronic fund transfers, funds through money transmitting businesses, checks and other designated payments tied to unlawful internet gambling. It targets the business, not the player. Our UIGEA explainer and our guide to states with legal online casinos fill in the details.
Michigan’s Gaming Control Board has sent cease-and-desist letters to Silver Oak and Planet 7 (April 9, 2025), Miami Club and Slot Madness (August 14, 2025) and SlotoCash (October 8, 2026), calling them illegal offshore operators. New York, California and several other states have also banned dual-currency sweepstakes casinos; see our page on sweepstakes casino bans.

Planet 7, Royal Ace and Slot Madness have the most consistent third-party reports. SlotoCash is a mixed case: its promotions page (opens in a new tab) refers to USDT deposits for a crypto reload, while its banking table doesn’t list Tether. For Decode, neither review list includes USDT, so assume it isn’t available unless the cashier shows it.
Miami Club, our second-ranked partner, is the one casino here that publishes Tether: its own banking page lists USDT deposits from $25 to $2,500 with no deposit fee. Its Terms of Use (v2.1, September 28, 2026, section 1.6) list the United States as a prohibited jurisdiction, while the site owner’s affiliate program confirms US players are accepted, so confirm eligibility at sign-up. Our Miami Club review covers the detail.
Matching the USDT network: the step that matters most
None of the partners publishes which Tether network its cashier uses. That information appears, if at all, on the deposit screen itself. Read it before you send, and match it in your wallet.
Open the casino cashier and choose Tether or USDT, if listed.
Read which blockchain network the deposit address belongs to, as shown on that screen.
In your wallet, choose USDT on exactly that network; don’t rely on the default.
Paste the address and compare the first and last characters with the cashier’s.
Make sure you hold enough of that network’s own coin to pay the network fee, since fees are often paid in the native coin rather than in USDT.
Send a small test amount first if you can afford the extra fee, then the balance once it’s credited.
The stability advantage is real but one-sided. A $200 USDT deposit credits roughly $200, whereas $200 of Bitcoin bought a week earlier could be worth more or less by the time it arrives. On the way out, though, partners pay in Bitcoin, so you take on BTC price risk from payout to sale. Compare BTC payouts on our Bitcoin casinos page and ETH deposits on our Ethereum casinos page.
USDT withdrawals and what you get instead
No partner publishes a Tether payout. Winnings go out as Bitcoin, bank wire or check, with Ethereum also listed by Miami Club and Litecoin reported at Slot Madness. Caps are the main constraint: review sites report $2,500 a week at Planet 7, Royal Ace and Slot Madness, and Silver Oak’s terms and conditions (opens in a new tab) set weekly limits from $2,500, a pending total of up to four times the weekly limit, and an 8% fee (minimum $4) on withdrawing a deposit not wagered at least once.
Here is that fee in dollars: withdraw a $400 USDT deposit without wagering it and the fee is $400 × 8% = $32, leaving $368 before any crypto fees. At a $2,500 weekly cap, a $6,000 win takes three weeks: $2,500, $2,500, then $1,000. Our guide to casino withdrawal fees lists other charges to watch for.
A USDT casino deposit from start to finish: costs at each step
Tether removes price risk on the deposit, but not every cost. Following $500 of USDT through a casino round trip shows where money and time go. The casino figures are Miami Club’s published terms, the only partner that lists USDT deposits.

The weak point is the exit. Because winnings come back as Bitcoin or Ethereum, a balance that was steady in USDT becomes exposed to price swings from the moment it’s paid. Selling promptly limits that exposure, and keeping a record of each step helps at tax time.
At casinos where USDT is only reported, such as Planet 7, the deposit leg is the same but payouts are reported in Bitcoin only, with weekly caps of $2,500. Our crypto fees guide and Bitcoin casinos page cover the exchange and payout costs in more detail.
KYC and records when you deposit in Tether
Stablecoin deposits don’t skip verification. Review sites report that Planet 7 asks for ID, proof of address, a selfie with ID and, where relevant, a card verification form, with checks taking up to three days. Silver Oak’s terms block withdrawals until photo ID, a selfie with ID, a recent utility bill and card images are approved.
Keep a simple log: date, casino, USDT amount, network, transaction ID and dollar value. It helps with disputes and taxes, and our keeping gambling records guide offers a template.
Using USDT with casino bonuses
A USDT deposit counts like any other qualifying deposit if the casino accepts it and the bonus terms allow crypto. Bonuses are slot-focused, with table games often excluded or weighted lower, and max cashout rules can limit what you take home.
Worked example with a reported Planet 7 term of 30x (bonus + deposit) and a $1,000 max cashout: a $100 deposit at 200% adds $200, so you must wager $300 × 30 = $9,000. At an illustrative 4% house edge, expected losses during wagering are $360. If you finish with $1,800, the reported cap would let you withdraw only $1,000. See max cashout rules.
Taxes and help for crypto casino players
Gambling winnings are taxable federal income regardless of the coin. The IRS W-2G threshold for slot, keno and bingo winnings paid in 2026 is $2,000, and the loss deduction is reportedly capped at 90% of losses from the 2026 tax year; check IRS guidance and our gambling taxes page.
Fast, stable crypto deposits can make it easy to spend more than planned. The National Problem Gambling Helpline (opens in a new tab) is free and confidential at 1-800-MY-RESET (1-800-697-3738) by call or text, with chat online. Blocking tools such as Gamban and BetBlocker can add a barrier.
Casino offers via our links for USDT users
The offers below come from partner casinos, which are offshore and not licensed or regulated by any US state. Check your state’s law, understand there is no state regulator to complain to, and only gamble with money you can afford to lose. Tether support differs by casino: it’s reported at Planet 7 and disputed at Silver Oak, and it isn’t reported at Decode, so you may need Bitcoin or another listed coin there. We earn commission and order partners commercially. New players only, 21+ (18+ where allowed), terms apply.
Decode Casino: $5,000 Welcome Bonus + 50 Free Spins, via our link (new players, 21+ or 18+ where allowed, terms apply). Third-party reviews report codes such as DECODE111 (111% up to $1,111, 25x bonus plus deposit, $25 minimum) and EASY25CODE (400%, 35x, $25 minimum), and Decode’s own site shows no full terms, so the terms shown at sign-up apply.
Silver Oak Casino: $2,500 Welcome Bonus + 50 Free Spins, via our link (new players, 21+ or 18+ where allowed, terms apply). The casino’s own site advertises a $10,000 package over ten deposits with codes SILVEROAK1 to SILVEROAK10, 30x playthrough on the offer page versus 40x in its terms, and no max withdrawal on the offer page; deposits start at $30.
Planet 7 Casino: $2,750 Welcome Bonus + 45 Free Spins, via our link (new players, 21+ or 18+ where allowed, terms apply). Reviews report a WELCOME200 code with 30x (bonus + deposit) wagering on slots and a $1,000 max cashout, but sources disagree. Our best USDT casinos page ranks every partner.

Frequently asked questions
Which online casinos accept USDT Tether?
Miami Club is the one partner that publishes Tether on its own banking page, from $25 to $2,500. Review sites also report USDT at Planet 7, Royal Ace and Slot Madness, and list it at Silver Oak and SlotoCash although those casinos’ own banking pages don’t. SlotoCash’s promotions page does mention USDT deposits. Decode isn’t reported to take Tether. Check the cashier before buying any. Our best USDT casinos page compares the partners.
Can I withdraw USDT from an online casino?
Not at the partner casinos we promote, as none publishes a Tether withdrawal option. Crypto winnings are paid in Bitcoin, with Ethereum also listed at Miami Club and Litecoin reported at Slot Madness, and bank wire or check are the alternatives. That means you take on Bitcoin’s price risk between payout and sale. Our guide to withdrawing from an online casino explains each route.
Which USDT network should I use for a casino deposit?
Use exactly the network the casino’s deposit screen names for its USDT address. Tether runs on several blockchains, and sending on the wrong one can mean the casino can’t credit the funds. None of our partners publishes its network, so read the cashier carefully and ask support if it’s unclear. Our crypto wallets page explains how networks appear in wallets.
Is USDT safer than Bitcoin for casino deposits?
USDT reduces price risk on the deposit because it’s designed to stay near one dollar, but it doesn’t remove other risks. Transfers generally can’t be reversed, network mistakes can lose funds, and the casino is still offshore with no state regulator. Payouts at partners come back in Bitcoin anyway. Read is Bitcoin safe for casinos and our crypto casino scams guide.
Are USDT casinos legal in the United States?
Offshore USDT casinos aren’t licensed by any US state, and paying with a stablecoin doesn’t change their status. Seven states license real-money online casinos, and state law decides whether a bet is lawful for you. Michigan’s regulator has named several partner casinos in cease-and-desist letters. Read can I get in trouble for playing online casinos and check the states hub.
What is the minimum Tether (USDT) deposit at partner casinos?
Miami Club is the only partner that publishes one: its banking page lists Tether deposits from $25, up to $2,500, with no deposit fee. Its Terms of Use (section 1.6) list the United States as a prohibited jurisdiction, while the site owner’s affiliate program confirms US players are accepted, so confirm at sign-up. The other partners don’t publish a USDT minimum; for comparison, their Bitcoin and Ethereum minimums run $25 to $30. Check the cashier, and see our minimum deposits page for other methods.
Do stablecoin casino deposits get bonuses?
They can, if the casino accepts USDT and the bonus terms allow crypto deposits. Bonuses are tied to the deposit, carry wagering such as 30x bonus plus deposit, focus on slots and may cap cashouts, with a reported $1,000 max cashout on one Planet 7 offer. Enter any code before depositing. Our crypto bonus page explains the math.
Do I owe tax on winnings from a USDT casino?
Yes, gambling winnings are taxable federal income whatever currency you’re paid in. For 2026, the IRS W-2G reporting threshold for slot winnings is $2,000, but smaller winnings are still taxable even without a form. Losses are deductible only up to winnings, reportedly capped at 90% from 2026; check IRS guidance. See do offshore casinos report to the IRS.
Can I withdraw Ethereum instead of USDT at Miami Club?
Yes. Miami Club’s banking page lists Ethereum and Bitcoin as its crypto payout methods, both with no fee, while Tether is listed for deposits only. Bitcoin payouts start at $100 with a $2,500 weekly figure and a stated time of about 48 hours; no Ethereum minimum is listed. Its terms cap withdrawals at $5,000 a week and require proof of identity for every payout. Either coin brings price risk until you sell it. Section 1.6 of its terms lists the US as prohibited, but its affiliate program accepts US players, so confirm at sign-up. See Miami Club withdrawals and Ethereum casinos.
What is the maximum USDT deposit at a casino?
Miami Club publishes the only USDT ceiling among our partners: $2,500 per deposit, from a $25 minimum. The other partners don’t publish Tether limits at all, and Silver Oak’s $100,000 crypto maximum applies to the Bitcoin, Litecoin and Ethereum it lists, not to USDT, which its banking page doesn’t show. Large deposits also run into slow exits, since weekly withdrawal caps of $2,500 to $5,000 limit how quickly a big balance comes back. Read our withdrawal limits page and the weekly withdrawal limits guide first.
What should I do if I sent USDT on the wrong network?
Contact the casino’s support straight away with the transaction ID, amount, the network you used and the address, but expect that the funds may not be recoverable. Crypto transfers generally can’t be reversed, and a casino can only credit a deposit that reaches the network its address belongs to. Don’t send a second payment until you have an answer in writing. In future, match the network shown on the cashier screen and send a small test first. Our wallet address entry and blockchain confirmations guide explain why the network matters.
Do online casinos accept USDC as well as USDT?
A few are reported to, but none of our partners publishes USDC on its own banking page. Casino.guru lists USD Coin among Planet 7’s payment methods, and LCB lists both USDT and USDC for Silver Oak, although Silver Oak’s own banking page shows only Bitcoin, Litecoin and Ethereum. Like Tether, USDC is a dollar-pegged stablecoin, so the network-matching rules are the same. Check the cashier before you buy either coin. Our stablecoins guide compares the two, and the what crypto do casinos accept answer lists the rest.
Can I use USDT at online casinos in Connecticut?
Connecticut is one of the seven states that license online casinos, so players in Bridgeport, Stamford and New Haven have state-regulated options and don’t need an offshore Tether casino. The Department of Consumer Protection’s Gaming Division licenses two online casino operators, DraftKings through Foxwoods and FanDuel through Mohegan Sun, with an online casino age of 21. Connecticut also banned sweepstakes casinos from October 1, 2025. Offshore USDT casinos aren’t among the licensed sites and carry no state protection. Read our Connecticut guide and player protections comparison.
Does a USDT deposit qualify for SlotoCash’s crypto reload?
Possibly: SlotoCash’s promotions page refers to USDT and Ethereum deposits for its crypto reload code BLOCKFALL-1, listed at 100% plus $50 with a $25 minimum and 27x wagering. Its banking page doesn’t list Tether, though, so check the cashier shows USDT before you send any. Codes change, so confirm the offer on the promotions page on the day. Bonus play is slot-focused, and the house edge applies throughout wagering. 21+ (18+ where allowed); terms apply. See SlotoCash bonus codes and our reload bonus guide.
