What is a crypto bonus? It's a casino bonus you get only when you deposit with cryptocurrency, such as Bitcoin, Litecoin or Ethereum, and it's often a larger match than the card version of the same offer. It still comes with wagering, game rules and withdrawal limits, and crypto adds its own risks: price swings and payments that can't be reversed.
A crypto bonus is a deposit offer that requires a crypto payment method.
Partners publish crypto-specific offers, such as SlotoCash's BLOCKFALL-1 and Silver Oak's VIP Bitcoin bonus.
Wagering, max bet and game rules work exactly as they do for card bonuses.
Crypto payments generally can't be reversed, and coin prices move, so the dollar value can change.

What is a crypto bonus? The short answer
A crypto bonus is a deposit match or extra credit that a casino gives only for deposits made in cryptocurrency. You send coins from your wallet to the casino's address, redeem the crypto code, and the casino adds bonus credit in dollars. From then on it behaves like any bonus, with a wagering requirement before you can withdraw.
Offshore casinos promote these offers because crypto is the deposit route that most often works for US players. Card deposits are frequently declined, since many US card issuers block the gambling merchant code 7995, according to payment-industry sources. Our card declines guide explains why. More quick answers are on the casino questions hub.
SlotoCash's promotions page (opens in a new tab) lists BLOCKFALL-1, a crypto offer of a 100% match plus $50, with a $25 minimum and 27x wagering; the page also references USDT and Ethereum deposits for it. That's a primary source, though promotions rotate.
Silver Oak's VIP program page (opens in a new tab) lists Bitcoin bonuses of 325% to 400% across its tiers, compared with 250% to 325% for its regular VIP deposit bonus. Those are VIP rewards, not offers for new players, and the page doesn't give their wagering.
Decode's own site advertises "$111 Free Chip + Crypto Bonus", but its terms didn't load for reading, so the crypto bonus's size and wagering aren't confirmed from the casino. Third-party listings report other codes, such as EASY25CODE at 400% with 35x wagering and a $25 minimum. Treat those as reports and confirm in the cashier.
Miami Club's promotions page lists a Lightning Bitcoin deposit bonus from $5. The casino runs WGS (Wager Gaming) software, not RTG. Miami Club's published Terms of Use (version 2.1, September 28, 2026, section 1.6) list the United States as a prohibited jurisdiction, while the site owner's affiliate program confirms US players are accepted; confirm your eligibility at sign-up.
Take BLOCKFALL-1 on a $100 Bitcoin deposit: a 100% match adds $100, plus the $50, for $150 of bonus and a $250 balance. The promotions page gives 27x but doesn't say whether that applies to the bonus alone or to deposit plus bonus, so both are shown, at an illustrative 4% house edge.

The basis changes the outlook a lot, which is why it's the first question to ask support. SlotoCash's general bonus terms default to deposit plus bonus. Averages hide wide swings, and losses are likely over time. Our guide to the expected value of a bonus explains the formula.
Crypto deposits and withdrawals at these casinos
A crypto bonus is only as useful as the cashier around it. Note that some casinos take several coins in but pay out in Bitcoin only.

Sources disagree on Decode's cap: LCB's listing gives $2,500 a week while its review text and VegasSlotsOnline give $5,000. Silver Oak's banking page also shows why crypto matters there: card deposits carry a 3% to 10% fee and a $1,000 maximum, while crypto deposits are listed at 0%. How to claim a crypto bonus safely
Check that the casino accepts the coin you hold and that the bonus applies to it.
Read the code's minimum deposit, wagering basis, max bet and eligible games.
Buy the coin from a reputable exchange if you don't hold any; our guide on buying Bitcoin for casinos covers this.
Redeem the crypto code in the cashier before you send the deposit or straight after, and before betting.
Copy the deposit address exactly and send a test amount if you're unsure, since crypto payments can't be pulled back.
Play eligible slots within the max bet until wagering is met.
Verify your account before your first withdrawal; even crypto depositors may be asked for photo ID.
Crypto payments lack the legal protections of credit cards and generally can't be reversed, the FTC warns in its guidance on crypto payments (opens in a new tab). If a casino delays or refuses a payout, there's no chargeback route.
Prices also move. The CFPB's crypto-asset complaint bulletin (opens in a new tab) noted that as of October 3, 2022, Bitcoin was down more than 70% from its November 2021 high. Coins you buy to deposit, or receive as a withdrawal, can be worth more or less in dollars by the time you sell them.
Fraud is common: the same CFPB bulletin found scams were the largest share of crypto complaints.
Wrong-network or wrong-address deposits can be lost for good.
Withdrawal caps still apply, so a large crypto win may be paid over several weeks.
Paying in crypto doesn't change whether a casino is legal where you live. Only seven states license real-money online casinos, and our partners aren't among their licensees; no US state licenses or regulates them. UIGEA defines unlawful internet gambling by reference to the law where the bet is made, so state law decides the question, whatever the payment method. The sibling answer on whether crypto casinos are legal covers this in depth.
The Michigan Gaming Control Board has named Silver Oak (April 9, 2025) and SlotoCash (October 8, 2026) in cease-and-desist actions, calling such sites illegal offshore operators; see our page on cease-and-desist letters. Third-party reviews also report that Decode doesn't accept players from Maryland, New Jersey, New York or Washington.

Frequently asked questions
What is a crypto bonus at an online casino?
It's a bonus that applies only when you deposit with cryptocurrency such as Bitcoin, Litecoin or Ethereum. It's usually a deposit match, sometimes bigger than the card version, and it carries wagering like any bonus. SlotoCash's BLOCKFALL-1, for example, is a 100% match plus $50 with 27x wagering, per its promotions page. Our crypto bonus guide covers the wider market.
Are crypto bonuses bigger than regular bonuses?
Sometimes. Silver Oak's VIP page lists Bitcoin bonuses of 325% to 400% against 250% to 325% for its regular VIP deposit bonus. A bigger match doesn't mean more value, though, because wagering grows with the balance. Compare the multiple and basis, not the percentage. Our answer on what a 300% bonus means shows the math.
Which cryptocurrencies qualify for a crypto bonus?
It depends on the offer. SlotoCash lists Bitcoin, Lightning, Litecoin, Bitcoin Cash and Ethereum for deposits, and its BLOCKFALL-1 page also references USDT and Ethereum. Silver Oak lists Bitcoin, Litecoin and Ethereum. Check the code's terms for eligible coins before you send funds. Our answer on what crypto casinos accept compares partner lists.
Can I withdraw a crypto bonus in Bitcoin?
Only after wagering is complete, and only by the casino's listed methods. SlotoCash pays crypto withdrawals in Bitcoin only, from $100 to $2,500 per request with no fee, according to its banking page, and Silver Oak lists Bitcoin from $50 to $2,500 with a $0 to $40 fee. Our page on Bitcoin withdrawal times covers how long it can take.
Is a crypto bonus safer than a card bonus?
No. The bonus terms work the same way, and crypto adds risks: payments generally can't be reversed, and coin prices can move between deposit and withdrawal, according to FTC and CFPB guidance. Card deposits, by contrast, are often declined by US banks. Read is Bitcoin safe for casinos before choosing a method.
Do I need a code for a crypto bonus?
Usually. SlotoCash's crypto offer uses the code BLOCKFALL-1, and most offshore casinos attach crypto matches to cashier codes. Redeem it before you bet; SlotoCash's terms say a coupon must be redeemed before any wager. Codes rotate, so trust only the casino's own cashier or promotions page. Our bonus codes guide explains why codes stop working.
Does a crypto bonus need KYC?
Withdrawals do, even if you deposited in crypto. SlotoCash requires photo ID and a recent utility bill before any payout, Silver Oak blocks withdrawals until verification is complete, and third-party reviews report Decode may ask crypto depositors for photo ID. Verifying early avoids delays later. Our KYC explainer lists the usual documents.
Are crypto bonuses legal in the US?
The payment method doesn't decide that; your state's law does. Only seven states license real-money online casinos, and crypto bonuses mostly come from offshore sites no US state licenses or regulates. UIGEA looks to the law where the bet is made. Check your state's position before depositing. Our answer on whether crypto casinos are legal goes into detail.
What is the smallest deposit that qualifies for a crypto bonus?
It's usually $5 to $25, depending on the casino and the coin. SlotoCash's BLOCKFALL-1 crypto code needs $25, and the EASY25CODE offer third-party listings report at Decode also needs $25. Miami Club's promotions page lists a Lightning Bitcoin deposit bonus from just $5, and Lightning deposits start at $5 at several partners. A small minimum doesn't make the bonus cheaper to clear, because wagering still applies. Compare low entry points on our low deposit casinos list.
Does SlotoCash have a crypto bonus?
Yes, SlotoCash's promotions page lists BLOCKFALL-1, a crypto offer of a 100% match plus $50, with a $25 minimum deposit and 27x wagering. The page references USDT and Ethereum deposits for it, and SlotoCash also takes Bitcoin, Lightning, Litecoin and Bitcoin Cash. Promotions rotate, so check that the code is still live before you send coins. Withdrawals are paid in Bitcoin only, up to $2,500 a request. Our SlotoCash bonus codes page lists its other rotating offers.
Does Miami Club Casino offer a Lightning Bitcoin bonus?
Yes, Miami Club's promotions page lists a Lightning Bitcoin deposit bonus from $5, one of the lowest crypto entry points among the partners. The page doesn't give its wagering in the details we read, so check the terms in the cashier. Miami Club runs WGS (Wager Gaming) games rather than RTG. Its Terms of Use (v2.1, September 28, 2026, section 1.6) list the United States as prohibited, while the affiliate program confirms US players are accepted, so confirm eligibility at sign-up. See our Miami Club Bitcoin page.
What crypto bonus does Decode Casino advertise?
Decode advertises a crypto bonus under the headline "$111 Free Chip + Crypto Bonus" on its own site, but its terms didn't load for reading, so the size and wagering aren't confirmed by the casino. Third-party listings report codes such as EASY25CODE at 400% with 35x wagering and a $25 minimum. Treat those as reports and check the cashier. Third-party reviews also report Decode doesn't accept players from Maryland, New Jersey, New York or Washington. Our Decode bonus codes page tracks the codes reviewers list.
Can a crypto bonus be used on blackjack or other table games?
Usually only in a limited way, because crypto bonuses are slot-focused like most offshore offers. Table games are often excluded from bonus play or count for a smaller share of each bet toward wagering. SlotoCash's welcome terms, for example, name slots, keno and scratch cards as the valid games. Playing an excluded game can void the bonus and its winnings, so read the code's game list before you start. Our guide to game weighting shows how lower contribution rates stretch the wagering.
What happens to my crypto bonus if Bitcoin's price drops?
Your bonus and balance are normally held in dollars once credited, so the price swing hits the coins you hold before depositing and after withdrawing. If Bitcoin falls between buying it and sending it, your deposit is worth less; if it falls after a payout, your winnings shrink in dollar terms. The CFPB noted Bitcoin was down more than 70% from its November 2021 high by October 3, 2022. Our stablecoins guide covers coins designed to hold a steady dollar value.
Is there a max bet on a crypto bonus?
Yes, most crypto bonuses carry a maximum bet while wagering is active, as other bonuses do. SlotoCash's bonus terms set a $10 max bet, and betting above the limit can void bonus winnings. Codes can carry their own rules, so check the max bet for the exact offer before you play. A smaller stake also makes a bonus balance last longer through the wagering. Our page on bonus abuse rules explains what else can cost you a bonus.
