Casino withdrawal limits

Casino withdrawal limits cap how much you can take out per request, per week and per month, and most offshore casinos set the weekly ceiling between $2,500 and $5,000. That means a large win can take weeks or months to collect. Here are the limits partner casinos publish or reviewers report, how they stack and how to plan around them.

Key takeaways

  • Expect five kinds of limit: a minimum, a per-request maximum, a weekly cap, a monthly cap and, on bonus play, a max cashout.
  • SlotoCash publishes $5,000 a week and $20,000 a month; reviewers report $2,500 a week and $5,000 a month at Royal Ace and Slot Madness.
  • A max cashout rule can permanently remove winnings above the cap, which is very different from a weekly limit that only delays them.
  • No US state regulator sets or enforces these limits at offshore casinos; the casino's terms decide.

How casino withdrawal limits work

A withdrawal limit is a rule in the casino's terms that controls how much money leaves your account and how fast. It isn't a law and, at offshore casinos, no US state regulator reviews it. Every payment method in our casino banking guide carries its own version. The casino writes it, can change it and applies it to every payout you request.

Limits matter most when you've won more than usual. A $300 balance is barely touched by a $2,500 weekly cap. A $15,000 balance is a different story: at that cap it leaves in installments over weeks, and a monthly cap can stretch it into months. Read our definition of a withdrawal limit and the plain-English weekly withdrawal limit answer for the basics.

The five casino withdrawal limits to look for

Types of casino withdrawal limit
LimitWhat it controlsEffect on you
Minimum withdrawalThe smallest amount you can request by a given methodSmall balances may be stuck until you reach it
Per-request maximumThe largest single payout by a given methodLarge balances need several requests
Weekly capTotal paid out in seven daysDelays large wins over several weeks
Monthly capTotal paid out in a calendar monthCan stretch a large win over months
Max cashout (bonus rule)The most you can withdraw from bonus playWinnings above it are removed, not delayed

The first four control timing. The fifth controls the amount. Mixing them up is one of the most common and expensive misunderstandings in offshore casino banking, so we cover max cashout rules separately below.

Silver Oak's terms contain an unusual monthly rule: $5,000 a month if your balance is at least 10 times your total deposits, otherwise $10,000. They also say pending requests can total up to four times the weekly limit, which is $10,000 at the starting $2,500 level. Read it as published and ask support how it applies to you before you play for large amounts.

Planet 7 is the murkiest: most reviews report $2,500 a week, one shows €2,500 per day, and another says the daily limit is low (under $500) without reconciling it with the weekly figure. That's why it isn't one of the offers on this page. See Planet 7 withdrawals for the detail.

Minimum withdrawal amounts by method

Minimums decide when a small balance becomes withdrawable. They vary by method, and wires and checks usually sit higher than crypto.

Decode's wire minimum is listed in euros by the review site that reports it, which is a sign to confirm the dollar figure in the cashier. Our page on the minimum withdrawal explains why a balance below the minimum often ends up being played rather than withdrawn, and casino minimum deposits covers the other side of the ledger.

Casino withdrawal limits in dollars: a $15,000 win

Suppose you finish with a $15,000 balance, with no bonus attached and verification complete. Here is the earliest each cap structure could pay it, before any pending period or delivery time.

The money sits in your casino account while it waits, with no US state protection of balances at an offshore site. The longer the wait, the more it depends on the casino's goodwill and solvency, and the more tempting it can be to play some of it back. Our weekly withdrawal limits guide looks at how players handle this.

Max cashout vs withdrawal limit: the rule that removes winnings

A max cashout caps what you can ever withdraw from a bonus. If the cap is $1,000 and you finish bonus wagering with $3,000, the extra $2,000 is typically removed. A weekly limit, by contrast, only delays money you're entitled to.

  • SlotoCash's own welcome bonus terms say there's no max cashout; its general terms cap winnings from free (no-deposit) bonuses at $200 with a $25 minimum.
  • Royal Ace's welcome bonus carries a max cashout of 10 times the deposit in one third-party listing; on a $100 deposit, that's $1,000.
  • Planet 7's WELCOME200 code carries a reported $1,000 max cashout.
  • Slot Madness's MAD275 offer has no max cashout in reviewers' listings.
  • Silver Oak's welcome offer page says there's 'no max withdrawal'.

So two offers with the same headline can pay very differently on a good run. Read what max cashout means and the max cashout guide before you claim any bonus.

Higher withdrawal limits through VIP programs

Two partners publish limit increases for VIP players. SlotoCash says its weekly limit may be adjusted by VIP status, up to $30,000 (its pages don't state the period), and lists expedited withdrawals at its Platinum and Diamond tiers, which are by invitation. Silver Oak's VIP page lists higher withdrawal limits across its tiers and priority payments from Platinum up.

Higher limits come with higher play. Don't chase a VIP tier just to get faster cashouts; the extra wagering costs more in house edge than the convenience is worth. Our casino loyalty programs guide explains how tiers are earned.

How to plan a large casino withdrawal, step by step

  1. Before you deposit, write down the casino's weekly and monthly caps and any max cashout on the bonus you plan to take.
  2. Finish identity verification while your balance is still small.
  3. When you decide to cash out, request the largest amount the per-request and weekly limits allow, by the fastest method listed.
  4. Note the date of each request and the date each payment arrives.
  5. Request the next installment as soon as the casino's weekly window resets, rather than letting the balance sit idle.
  6. Resist playing the waiting balance; use any deposit limit or cool-off tool the casino offers while installments arrive.
  7. Keep records of every payout for tax time.

Our guide on how to withdraw from an online casino covers the cashier steps, and casino withdrawal times covers how long each installment takes.

Conflicting withdrawal limits: what to believe

Several limits differ between sources. SlotoCash's banking page shows a $2,500 check maximum while its payout-methods page shows $3,000 (printed as '$3.000'). Decode's weekly cap appears as $2,500, $3,000 or $5,000 depending on the review. Planet 7 has weekly, daily and euro-denominated figures that don't line up.

When figures conflict, plan around the lower one and confirm in the cashier or with support, in writing, before you deposit. The casino's own current banking terms (opens in a new tab) or terms and conditions (opens in a new tab) take precedence over any review.

Withdrawal limits, the law and your protection

In New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Michigan, West Virginia, Delaware, Connecticut and Rhode Island, licensed online casinos operate under a state regulator. Our partners aren't licensed by any US state, so their limits are contract terms with no state oversight. Silver Oak publishes an Anjouan license; for the others, reviewers report Curaçao, Costa Rica, Anjouan or no license.

Michigan's Gaming Control Board has named Slot Madness (August 14, 2025) and SlotoCash (October 8, 2026) among illegal offshore operators; see the October 8, 2026 release (opens in a new tab). Compare player protections offshore vs licensed and check your own state on the states hub.

Frequently asked questions

What is a typical casino withdrawal limit?

At the offshore casinos US players use, $2,500 a week is the most common figure, with some casinos also capping monthly payouts at $5,000. SlotoCash publishes a higher $5,000 weekly and $20,000 monthly limit. Minimums usually run from $20 to $150 depending on the method. Always confirm in the cashier, because terms change. See the withdrawal limit definition and our easy withdrawal casinos list.

Can I withdraw a big win all at once from an online casino?

Usually not at offshore casinos. Weekly and monthly caps split large balances into installments, so a $15,000 balance at $2,500 a week and $5,000 a month takes about three months at the earliest. At SlotoCash's published $5,000 weekly cap it takes about three weeks. Plan the timeline before you play for high stakes. Our weekly withdrawal limits guide explains the math.

What is the difference between max cashout and a withdrawal limit?

A withdrawal limit delays money; a max cashout removes it. Time-based caps control how fast you're paid, but you still get everything in the end. A max cashout on a bonus caps the total you can ever withdraw from that bonus, and the excess is typically forfeited. One review reports Royal Ace's welcome bonus at 10 times the deposit. Read max cashout rules.

Can I get my casino withdrawal limit raised?

Sometimes, through a VIP program. SlotoCash says VIP status can lift its weekly limit, up to $30,000 (the period isn't stated), and Silver Oak's VIP page lists higher limits across tiers. Both depend on how much you play, and the extra wagering costs money through the house edge. Asking support is free, but don't gamble more to qualify. See casino loyalty programs.

What is the smallest withdrawal an online casino allows?

It depends on the casino and method. Reviewers report $20 at Royal Ace and Slot Madness, Silver Oak publishes $50 for Bitcoin and $100 for wire or check, and SlotoCash publishes $100 for Bitcoin or wire and $150 for checks. Balances below the minimum can't be withdrawn by that method. Our page what is the minimum withdrawal gives the full picture.

Do withdrawal limits apply to bonus winnings?

Yes. The weekly and monthly caps apply to all payouts, and bonus winnings can face an extra max cashout on top. SlotoCash's general terms cap winnings from free no-deposit bonuses at $200, for example, while its welcome bonus has no max cashout. You also can't usually withdraw until wagering is complete. See can I withdraw a bonus and bonus wagering requirements.

Are casino withdrawal limits regulated in the US?

Not at offshore casinos. No US state licenses our partner casinos, so their limits are terms they set and can change, with no state regulator to enforce them. State-licensed casinos in the seven licensing states operate under state rules. If a payout stalls, your options are the casino's own complaint process and independent review sites. See casino ADR and complaints and offshore casinos legality.

Why do withdrawal limits differ between review sites?

Because casinos change terms, review sites check at different times, and some list figures in euros or per day rather than per week. Decode's weekly cap appears as $2,500, $3,000 or $5,000 depending on the source, and Planet 7's figures don't line up across reviews. Treat the lowest figure as your planning number and confirm with the casino in writing. Our how to read casino terms guide helps.

What is the Miami Club withdrawal limit?

Miami Club’s Terms of Use cap withdrawals at $5,000 a week and say larger sums are paid in weekly installments, with no monthly cap stated. Its banking page adds per-method weekly figures of $2,500 for Bitcoin and bank wire and $3,000 for courier checks, and a $100 minimum withdrawal in the terms. So a $12,000 balance needs at least three weeks. Section 1.6 of its terms lists the United States as a prohibited jurisdiction, while the casino’s affiliate program confirms US players are accepted, so confirm at sign-up. See Miami Club withdrawals and the Miami Club review.

What weekly cashout limit does SlotoCash set?

SlotoCash’s own pages set it at $5,000 a week and $20,000 a month, with VIP status able to raise the weekly figure to as much as $30,000. Each request by wire, check or Bitcoin tops out at $2,500, and its payout-methods page allows one request a week per method. On those figures, a single method pays at most $2,500 a week, so reaching the full $5,000 may take two methods; ask support how it applies before planning a large cashout. See SlotoCash withdrawals and the SlotoCash VIP program.

Is there a weekly withdrawal cap at Decode Casino?

Yes, but sources disagree on the figure, and Decode’s own terms weren’t visible on the pages available. One third-party listing shows $2,500 a week for Bitcoin and wire and $3,000 for checks, while the same site’s review text and another review both say $5,000 a week. Reviewers also report a $100 Bitcoin minimum and a €150 wire minimum, counted in business days. Plan around $2,500 a week until the cashier or support confirms otherwise in writing. See Decode withdrawals and is Decode Casino legit.

How long would a $10,000 withdrawal take at Slot Madness?

At least two calendar months on the reported caps. Third-party reviews put Slot Madness at $2,500 a week and $5,000 a month, so $10,000 leaves as $5,000 in one month and $5,000 the next, each split into weekly payments. Reported pending periods of 7–10 days per request, with no weekend cashouts, can stretch that further. These are reviewers’ figures rather than the casino’s published terms, so confirm before you play for large sums. See Slot Madness withdrawals and our cashing out big wins guide.

Can I lose money while waiting for withdrawal installments?

Yes, in a few ways. The waiting balance stays in your casino account, where an offshore site gives it no state-backed protection, and it’s easy to play some of it back. Inactivity rules can also bite on long waits: SlotoCash’s terms void balances after 12 consecutive months without a login, and Miami Club’s remove the real-money balance after 12 months, though both allow it to be restored. Log in regularly, request each installment as soon as the window resets, and set a cool-off if you’re tempted to play. See cool off periods and casino dormant accounts.

Do I pay tax on a casino win paid in installments?

Yes. Gambling winnings are taxable federal income whether they arrive in one payment or several, and offshore casinos paying by Bitcoin, wire or check don’t change that. For payments made in 2026, the IRS W-2G threshold for slot, keno and bingo winnings is $2,000. A win that straddles December and January can make the timing question harder, so record each installment’s date and amount and check IRS guidance or a tax professional. From the 2026 tax year, the loss deduction is reportedly capped at 90% of losses. See big win taxes and what is a W-2G.

Do Royal Ace and Slot Madness accept players from Ohio?

Third-party reviews report that neither does. Casino.guru says Royal Ace and Slot Madness don’t accept players from Ohio, and no restricted-state list is published by either casino, so check at sign-up. Ohio itself doesn’t license online casinos; bills such as HB 298 were still pending in 2026. The Ohio Casino Control Commission says illegal sites offer no consumer protections, though the state does license online sports betting. Players in Columbus, Cleveland and Cincinnati can read our Ohio guide and can I play online casinos in Ohio.
