Best roulette casinos for US players

The best roulette casinos for US players among our partners are Slot Madness, Silver Oak and Planet 7, the three where roulette appears in the casino's terms or a reviewer's game list. They run RealTime Gaming's single-zero European Roulette, reported at 97.3% RTP. All three are offshore, and no US state licenses them.

Key takeaways

  • Only Slot Madness, Silver Oak and Planet 7 have roulette named in the casino's terms or in reviewers' game lists.
  • RTG's European Roulette has one zero and 37 pockets, so every standard bet carries a 2.7% house edge; a double-zero wheel would carry 5.26%.
  • At $5 a spin and 100 spins an hour, single-zero roulette costs about $13.51 an hour on average.
  • Roulette is excluded from bonus play at Silver Oak by its own terms and reported as not counting at Planet 7, so most roulette players are better off without a bonus.
  • Martingale and similar systems don't change the edge: seven reds-or-blacks lost in a row from a $5 start costs $635.

Which are the best roulette casinos in the USA?

Our best roulette casinos for US players are Slot Madness, Silver Oak and Planet 7, in that order. A reviewer names European Roulette in Slot Madness's lobby, Silver Oak's own terms list roulette among the games excluded from bonus play, and Planet 7's free chip terms, as reported, say roulette doesn't count toward wagering. In each case roulette is there to play, and the casino tells you how it treats it.

We haven't ranked SlotoCash, Decode or Royal Ace for roulette, because no source we hold names a roulette game at any of them. They may carry RTG's roulette; check the lobby before you deposit.

This list is part of our ranked casino guides. The order is editorial and commercial, as we earn commission when readers sign up, and it doesn't come from playing at these tables. All three casinos are offshore and not licensed or regulated by any US state.

How we picked the best online roulette casinos

Roulette is a simple game with fixed odds, so the casino matters mostly for the wheel it offers and the money rules around it. We ranked on:

  1. Roulette evidence: whether the casino's terms or a reviewer name a roulette game.
  2. Wheel type: single-zero European roulette carries roughly half the house edge of a double-zero wheel.
  3. Bonus treatment of roulette: excluded, not counted or allowed, from the casino's terms or reviewers.
  4. Withdrawal caps and reported payout times.
  5. Regulator actions and complaint records.

Table limits weren't published for any partner in our sources, so we couldn't rank on minimum or maximum bets. Ask support before depositing if limits matter to you.

1. Slot Madness: European Roulette named in its lobby

Esports.gg's Slot Madness review (opens in a new tab) names European Roulette and Keno alongside a long list of RTG slots, and calls the casino powered entirely by RealTime Gaming. That makes Slot Madness the only partner where a reviewer names a roulette game outright. RTG's European Roulette is a single-zero wheel with 37 pockets and a game history display, according to third-party catalogs.

The welcome code MAD275 is reported by LCB at 275% up to $2,750 with 30x (bonus + deposit) on slots, and esports.gg says it covers slots and keno. Roulette isn't part of it, so a roulette player should expect to play without the welcome bonus.

The weak points are payouts and paperwork. Reviewers report caps of $2,500 a week and $5,000 a month, pending periods of 7–10 days and complaints about delayed withdrawals. Operator and license reports conflict. The Michigan Gaming Control Board named Slot Madness in its August 14, 2025 release (opens in a new tab), and it reportedly doesn't accept Ohio players.

2. Silver Oak: roulette in its own terms, with published banking

Silver Oak's terms and conditions (opens in a new tab) list Roulette among the games excluded from bonus play, along with Baccarat, Craps, Sic Bo, Pai Gow Poker and others. That tells you two things: roulette is on offer, and a bonus balance won't help you play it. The casino names RealTime Gaming as its software on its own mobile page.

Silver Oak is the only partner that publishes its full banking table: crypto deposits from $30 to $100,000, card deposits of $30 to $1,000 with a 3–10% fee, and Bitcoin withdrawals of $50 to $2,500 per request. Its terms set a weekly cap from $2,500 and allow 7–10 business days for review plus 7–10 for payment. They also charge 8% (minimum $4) if a deposit isn't wagered once before withdrawal, which matters if you deposit and then change your mind.

It also publishes a cash back offer for deposits over $1,000 made without a bonus, at 30% to 50% with 30x wagering, which suits players who skip the welcome bonus. Michigan named Silver Oak on April 9, 2025. Its operator says it holds an Anjouan license; LCB lists none.

3. Planet 7: roulette that doesn't count toward bonuses

Blockonomi's Planet 7 review (opens in a new tab) says baccarat, roulette and craps don't count toward the casino's $25 free chip, which carries 30x on slots and 60x on table games and video poker. LCB counts 347 RTG slots and lists no live dealer games, so roulette here means RTG's computer-run wheel.

Planet 7's own site couldn't be read for our research, so everything here is third-party. Reviewers report a $2,500 weekly cap, though AskGamblers shows 2,500 euros a day, and LCB says payouts often take more than a month. Michigan named Planet 7 alongside Silver Oak on April 9, 2025.

European vs American roulette odds

Every standard roulette bet pays as if the zero didn't exist, and that gap is the house edge. On a single-zero European wheel, a $1 straight-up bet wins $35 on 1 of 37 numbers and loses $1 on the other 36. The average result is (35 − 36) ÷ 37 = −2.7 cents per dollar, matching the 97.3% RTP that GamesHub lists for RTG's European Roulette (opens in a new tab).

Odds on a single-zero wheel, $1 bets
BetPaysWinning pocketsChance per spinHouse edge
Straight up (one number)35:11 of 372.70%2.70%
Dozen2:112 of 3732.43%2.70%
Red or black1:118 of 3748.65%2.70%

A double-zero (American) wheel adds a 38th pocket while paying the same odds, so the edge becomes 2 ÷ 38 = 5.26%, nearly twice as high. SlotCatalog counts just one roulette game in RTG's catalog, the European version, so you're unlikely to meet a double-zero wheel at these casinos. If you do elsewhere, the single-zero table is the cheaper one. Our European roulette glossary entry has the basics.

What online roulette costs per hour

Expected loss is total stake × house edge. RNG roulette spins much faster than a land table; assuming 100 spins an hour, which varies by player, the average cost is:

Average hourly cost at 100 spins an hour
Bet per spinWagered per hourSingle zero (2.7%)Double zero (5.26%)
$1$100$2.70$5.26
$5$500$13.51$26.32
$25$2,500$67.57$131.58

The bet type doesn't change that average: spreading $5 across numbers or putting it all on red costs the same 2.7% over time. What changes is the ride. Even-money bets win nearly half the time; straight-up bets rarely hit but pay 35 to 1. Our house edge explainer shows the same math for other games.

Can you use a casino bonus on roulette?

Rarely, and not at the casinos ranked here. Because roulette's edge is low and its even-money bets are steady, casinos usually keep it out of bonus play:

  • Silver Oak's own terms exclude roulette from bonus play.
  • Planet 7's free chip, as reported by Blockonomi, doesn't count roulette toward wagering.
  • Slot Madness's MAD275 welcome is reported to cover slots and keno.
  • SlotoCash's general bonus terms exclude table games by default.
  • Miami Club's bonus terms forbid roulette while a bonus is active.

Playing roulette with an active bonus can void the bonus and any winnings. The simplest choice for a roulette player is to decline the welcome bonus, deposit cash and keep withdrawals free of wagering conditions. Silver Oak's no-bonus cash back offer is one alternative, though it still carries 30x wagering. See table games bonuses and bonus vs no bonus.

Roulette strategies and the Martingale trap

No roulette strategy changes the 2.7% edge, because every bet on the table has the same edge and each spin is independent. A number isn't "due" after a cold run; that idea is the gambler's fallacy.

The Martingale doubles the stake after each loss on an even-money bet, aiming to win back losses plus one unit. It usually wins small amounts, then occasionally loses a large one. Starting at $5 on red, here's what a losing streak costs, with the chance of that streak starting on any given sequence:

Martingale on red or black, $5 starting bet, single-zero wheel
Losses in a rowNext bet neededTotal lost so farChance of the streak
5$160$1553.57% (about 1 in 28)
6$320$3151.83% (about 1 in 55)
7$640$6350.94% (about 1 in 106)

Each successful sequence wins just $5. Over many sequences the rare large losses outweigh the small wins by exactly the house edge, and a table maximum or an empty bankroll can stop the doubling before it recovers. Our roulette strategies page works through other systems with the same result.

Other roulette casinos you'll see

These casinos also come up in roulette searches. We review them but don't rank them here:

  • Royal Ace, another partner, runs RTG according to casino.guru, but no source we hold names a roulette game there.
  • SlotoCash names table and video poker games on its homepage, though not roulette, and excludes table games from bonuses by default.
  • Decode lists thousands of games by third-party counts without a named roulette table.
  • Red Dog Casino is an offshore brand whose terms exclude Kansas and Michigan; Michigan named it on April 9, 2025.
  • Miami Club, a live partner on WGS (Wager Gaming) software, forbids roulette with an active bonus. Its Terms of Use (v2.1, September 28, 2026, section 1.6) list the United States as a prohibited jurisdiction, but its affiliate program confirms US players are accepted, so confirm eligibility at sign-up.

If you want a live wheel with a real dealer, none of our partners is reported to offer one; see live dealer casinos for what to check elsewhere.

How to play roulette online for real money, step by step

  1. Check your state's law on online casinos; none of these casinos holds a US state license.
  2. Confirm in the lobby that the casino carries European (single-zero) roulette, and note the table limits.
  3. Decline the welcome bonus unless its terms clearly allow roulette, which these don't.
  4. Verify your account with ID and proof of address before your first withdrawal.
  5. Pick a stake that fits your session budget using the hourly cost table above.
  6. Set a loss limit and a time limit, and stop when either is reached.

Is online roulette legal in the US?

Real-money online roulette is licensed only in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Michigan, West Virginia, Delaware, Connecticut and Rhode Island. Maine passed a tribal online casino law in January 2026, but nothing had launched by October 2026. The casinos on this page are offshore and hold none of those licenses. Federal UIGEA targets payment processing for unlawful internet gambling rather than the player's bet, and state law decides the rest. See states with legal online casinos.

Roulette winnings are taxable federal income. For this kind of wagering, a Form W-2G is required only when winnings reach $2,000 and at least 300 times the wager, per the IRS W-2G instructions (opens in a new tab). Roulette's top payout is 35 to 1, so a single bet won't trigger a form, but the income is still taxable. From tax year 2026, the loss deduction is reported to be capped at 90% of losses; check IRS guidance. See keeping gambling records.

If you're chasing losses at the wheel, the National Problem Gambling Helpline is 1-800-MY-RESET (1-800-697-3738), with call, text and chat.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best online casino for roulette in the USA?

Among our partners, Slot Madness ranks first for roulette because a reviewer names European Roulette in its lobby, followed by Silver Oak and Planet 7, whose terms refer to roulette. All three run RealTime Gaming's single-zero wheel and are offshore, with no US state license. Our order is editorial and commercial. Compare two of them on Silver Oak vs Slot Madness.

Is European roulette better than American at these casinos?

Yes, for the player. European roulette has one zero and 37 pockets, giving a 2.7% house edge, while a double-zero wheel has 38 pockets and a 5.26% edge with the same payouts. At $5 a spin over 100 spins, that's about $13.51 versus $26.32 in average losses. RTG's catalog lists a European wheel. See our American roulette glossary entry for the difference.

Is roulette better than slots?

On cost per dollar wagered, single-zero roulette usually is: its 2.7% edge is lower than the 3.75% of a 96.25% RTP slot. Slots, though, are where the bonuses apply, and roulette is usually excluded. Neither game can be beaten over time, so pick the one you enjoy at a stake you can afford. Our answer to is roulette better than slots compares them in more detail.

Can I use a bonus to play roulette?

Not at the casinos ranked here. Silver Oak's own terms exclude roulette from bonus play, Planet 7's free chip reportedly doesn't count it, and Slot Madness's welcome bonus is reported to cover slots and keno. Playing roulette with an active bonus can void the bonus and its winnings. Bonuses are for players 21+ (18+ where allowed) and terms apply. See what games count toward wagering.

Does the Martingale system work in roulette?

No. Doubling after each loss wins small amounts most of the time, but a run of losses gets expensive fast: from a $5 start, seven losses on red or black in a row costs $635, and that streak has about a 1 in 106 chance on any sequence. Over time the house edge is unchanged. Table limits can also stop the doubling. Read our Martingale glossary entry for the full picture.

Is online roulette rigged?

RTG's roulette uses a random number generator, and RTG says its games are tested by Technical Systems Testing, as reported by LCB and GamblingNews. We haven't seen certificates for these casinos, and no US state regulator checks offshore sites. A fair wheel still keeps a 2.7% edge, so losses are likely over time. Our guide to how RNGs work explains what testing covers.

Do these casinos have live roulette?

No, according to the sources we have. Reviewers list no live dealer games at Silver Oak, Planet 7 or Slot Madness, and all three run RealTime Gaming, which supplies computer-run tables. That means faster spins and a higher hourly cost at the same stake than a live wheel. For what live tables involve, see what is live dealer.

Do I pay tax on roulette winnings?

Yes. All gambling winnings are taxable federal income. A W-2G is required for roulette only when winnings reach $2,000 and at least 300 times the wager, and roulette's maximum payout is 35 to 1, so you're unlikely to receive one, but the income still counts. From tax year 2026, the loss deduction is reported to be capped at 90%; check IRS guidance. Our gambling taxes page explains reporting.

What is the RTP of European Roulette at RTG casinos?

RealTime Gaming's European Roulette is listed at a 97.3% RTP by GamesHub, a third-party catalog, which matches the math of a single-zero wheel. With 37 pockets and payouts set as if the zero didn't exist, the house keeps 1 ÷ 37, or 2.7%, of every dollar wagered over time. The game was released in 2018 and includes a game history display, per catalog listings. RTP is a long-run average, not a promise for any session. Read what RTP means and our RTG software guide.

What is the minimum bet on online roulette at these casinos?

None of the three ranked roulette casinos publishes its table limits in the sources we hold, so the minimum and maximum bets aren't known before you open the game. What is published is the minimum deposit: Silver Oak's banking table starts at $30 for crypto and cards, and reviewers report a $30 card minimum and a $5 Bitcoin Lightning minimum at Planet 7 and Slot Madness. Open the roulette table's information screen or ask support before depositing. For low-stake play, see our low stakes guide and the small deposit casinos list.

Can I play online roulette on my phone?

Yes, the roulette casinos on this page run in a mobile browser, with no App Store or Google Play app. Silver Oak's own site lists a browser mobile casino for iPhone, Android and tablets, plus a downloadable Windows client for PC. Reviewers describe instant play in mobile browsers at Planet 7 and Slot Madness. Whether RTG's European Roulette appears in the mobile lobby isn't stated, so check the game list on your phone before depositing. Our mobile casino guide and best mobile casinos list cover browser play.

Is online roulette legal in Pennsylvania?

Yes, real-money online roulette is legal in Pennsylvania at casinos licensed by the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board. As of February 13, 2026, the board listed 12 certificate holders and 25 authorized online casino brands. Those state-licensed sites come with state oversight, a complaint route and protections for player balances. The offshore casinos ranked on this page are not among Pennsylvania's licensees, so a Pennsylvania player has a regulated alternative. Read our Pennsylvania online casino guide and can I play online casinos in Pennsylvania.

How long do withdrawals take at roulette casinos?

Expect one to three weeks rather than days at the ranked roulette casinos. Silver Oak's own terms allow 7–10 business days for review plus 7–10 business days for payment. Reviewers report pending periods of 7–10 days at Slot Madness and 5–7 days at Planet 7, and LCB says Planet 7 payouts often take more than a month. Weekly caps of about $2,500 also split a larger win into several payments. Verifying your account early helps. See how long casino withdrawals take and our pending withdrawals page.

Which European roulette bet has the lowest house edge?

No single bet in European roulette is cheaper than another, because every standard bet carries the same 2.7% house edge. A $5 bet on red, a $5 dozen bet and a $5 straight-up number all cost about 13.5 cents per spin on average. What differs is how often you win: red or black hits 48.65% of the time at 1 to 1, while a single number hits 2.70% of the time at 35 to 1. Choose by the ride you want, not by hoped-for value. Our outside bet and inside bet glossary entries explain each type.

Does Miami Club Casino have roulette?

Miami Club's own bonus terms say roulette is forbidden while a bonus is active, which shows roulette is offered there, and its lobby lists a table games category. It runs WGS (Wager Gaming) software rather than RTG, so its wheel may differ from the RTG game covered above; check the game's help screen for the zero count. Its Terms of Use (v2.1, section 1.6) list the United States as a prohibited jurisdiction, but its affiliate program confirms US players are accepted, so confirm at sign-up. Read our Miami Club table games page for details.
