Venmo casinos aren't available at any of the offshore casinos we cover: none of our partners lists Venmo for deposits or withdrawals. Venmo is a social payment app built for paying friends, not offshore merchants. The usual workaround is crypto, which every partner takes. This page shows what that involves, the rules on paying from your own accounts, and the scams to avoid.

Can you use Venmo at online casinos?
Not at our partners. Venmo is missing from the own banking pages of SlotoCash, Miami Club and Silver Oak and from every payment list reviewers report for Decode, Planet 7, Royal Ace and Slot Madness. You can't deposit with it, and you can't be paid to it.
That leaves two honest options. You can use a method the casino does list, mostly crypto, or you can play at a state-licensed site if you live in one of the seven states that license online casinos. Our casino banking hub covers every method, and can I use Venmo at online casinos is the short version of this page.
What Venmo is built for, and why casino cashiers skip it
Venmo is a US peer-to-peer app, owned by PayPal, that people use to split bills and pay friends. It links to US bank accounts and cards and has a social feed of payments. Its own user agreement sets what payments are allowed, so read the current version before you use it for anything gambling-related.
Offshore casinos depend on payment routes that don't need a US bank's cooperation: crypto addresses, international wires and card processing that often fails. A US app tied to US banks is the opposite. UIGEA, at 31 U.S.C. § 5363 (opens in a new tab), bars gambling businesses from accepting electronic fund transfers and other payments in connection with unlawful internet gambling, which gives US payment firms every reason to stay out. The same applies to Venmo's parent, which is why our PayPal casinos page reaches the same answer.
Venmo casinos list: what partner cashiers show instead
Here is how the seven live partners line up. "Published" means the casino's own pages; "reported" means third-party reviewers.
Slot Madness stands out for app users because reviewers report Litecoin as well as Bitcoin among its payout methods, which gives a second, often cheaper coin for cashing out. Read our Slot Madness review for its full banking picture, and see what crypto casinos accept for a broader view.
Why a friend's Venmo, or anyone else's account, won't work
A common idea is to send money to a friend on Venmo and have them deposit for you. Casino terms close that door. SlotoCash's support page (opens in a new tab) says your profile must match your bank details for card deposits, and its terms allow it to ask for proof of the payment method and the source of funds. Silver Oak's terms (opens in a new tab) ask for the front and back of every card used in the last three months and a selfie with your ID.
If a deposit comes from someone else's card, wallet or account, expect a frozen withdrawal, a voided bonus or a closed account. Using another person's account is also against every casino's rules. Our source of funds checks and KYC documents pages explain what casinos ask for and why.
Only deposit from accounts and wallets that are in your own name. It's the single biggest thing that keeps a payout moving.
From an app to a casino deposit: how the crypto route works
Payment apps increasingly let you buy crypto. Whether your account can send it to an outside address depends on the app and its current rules. If it can't, you would need to buy through an exchange or wallet that can. The broad steps look like this.
Confirm online gambling is allowed where you live, and read the casino's terms.
Register and verify at the casino first, so you know it will accept you and pay you.
Pick a coin the casino lists. Check the minimum and whether the bonus you want is tied to a specific coin.
Copy the deposit address from the casino cashier. Some addresses only accept one coin, so match it exactly.
Buy the coin in an app or exchange that supports sending to external addresses, and send the planned amount.
Wait for confirmations and check that your balance is credited. Keep the transaction ID.
Save a payout address for the same coin, in your own wallet, for when you cash out.
Both work at most partners, but minimums and payout options differ. These figures come from the casinos' own banking pages where available, and from reviewers otherwise.

Crypto prices move. The CFPB's crypto complaint bulletin (opens in a new tab) noted that as of October 3, 2022, bitcoin was down more than 70% from its November 2021 high. If you deposit $100 of coin and the price drops 20% while you wait on a payout, $500 in crypto winnings is worth $400 when you sell. See Litecoin casinos and Bitcoin casinos.
Venmo casino withdrawal options: what you're paid in
No partner pays out to Venmo. You'll be paid in crypto, by bank wire or by check, after identity checks. SlotoCash's two banking pages set the pattern most players meet: bitcoin payouts of $100 to $2,500 per request, free of casino fees, with a weekly cap of $5,000 and a monthly cap of $20,000. Its payout methods page adds one bitcoin request per week.
Worked example: you win $4,000 at SlotoCash and ask for bitcoin. The $2,500 per-request maximum means two requests, and the one-request-a-week rule means at least two weeks, even though the $5,000 weekly cap would cover it. Royal Ace and Slot Madness are reported at $2,500 a week and $5,000 a month, so the same win there spans two weeks too. The weekly withdrawal limits guide explains how caps stack.
No Venmo at the casino? A quick decision guide for US app users
Venmo users usually want three things: a familiar app, small amounts and quick payouts. No offshore partner offers all three, so pick the route that matches what matters most to you.

Venmo casino scams and privacy on a social app
Because Venmo is social, scammers use it in a social way. Watch for strangers in comments or group chats offering "casino credits" for a Venmo payment, fake support accounts promising to release a payout for a fee, and requests to switch the payment to friends-and-family style transfers that are hard to dispute.
A real casino never asks you to pay an individual's Venmo handle.
Payment feeds can be public by default; check your privacy settings before any gambling-related transaction.
Crypto sent to a scammer generally can't be reversed, the FTC warns, and only scammers demand payment in crypto.
Report fraud to the app, your bank and ReportFraud.ftc.gov.
New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Michigan, West Virginia, Delaware, Connecticut and Rhode Island license online casinos; Maine legalized tribal-run online casinos in January 2026, but none had launched by October 2026 and a lawsuit is pending. No other state licenses them. Our partners are offshore and not licensed or regulated by any US state, so there's no state regulator to complain to and no state protection of your balance.
State law decides what applies to players. Washington's RCW 9.46.240 makes knowingly transmitting or receiving gambling information over the internet a class C felony, and Oklahoma's SB 1589 bans online casino games and dual-currency sweepstakes from November 1, 2026. Reviewers report that some partners refuse Ohio players, and that Decode refuses Maryland, New Jersey, New York and Washington. See is it illegal to play at offshore casinos.
Winnings are taxable federal income. For 2026, slot, bingo and keno wins of $2,000 or more are reported on a W-2G, and the loss deduction is reported to be capped at 90% of losses from tax year 2026; check IRS guidance. Gambling is paid entertainment, and the house edge means losses are likely over time. Venmo alternatives: partner casinos with an offer via our links
No partner fits a Venmo search exactly, since none lists Venmo. These three take crypto, which is where most app users land. They are offshore casinos, not licensed or regulated by any US state; check your state's law before joining. We earn a commission if you sign up through our links, and the order is commercial. New players only, 21+ (18+ where allowed), terms apply.
Slot Madness Casino: $2,500 Welcome Bonus + 50 Free Spins, via our link (new players, 21+ or 18+ where allowed, terms apply). Reviewers report code MAD275 (275%), a $30 minimum deposit, 30x (bonus plus deposit) wagering on slots and no max cashout; sources disagree on whether the match is capped at $2,750. Michigan's Gaming Control Board named Slot Madness in an August 14, 2025 release.
SlotoCash Casino: $6,000 Welcome Bonus + 60 Free Spins, via our link (new players, 21+ or 18+ where allowed, terms apply). The casino's own five-deposit package uses codes SLOTO1MATCH to SLOTO5MATCH, a $20 minimum per bonus, 25x (deposit plus bonus) wagering and no max cashout; the package via our link may differ, so the terms at sign-up apply. See the SlotoCash Bitcoin page.
Decode Casino: $5,000 Welcome Bonus + 50 Free Spins, via our link (new players, 21+ or 18+ where allowed, terms apply). Decode's own site shows no bonus terms; reviewers report codes such as EASY25CODE (400%, 35x deposit plus bonus, $25 minimum, no max cashout), and codes change. Bonuses are slot-focused; table games are often excluded or weighted lower. More in our Decode review.

Frequently asked questions
Can I use Venmo at online casinos?
Not at any offshore casino we cover. None of the seven partners lists Venmo, and none lists PayPal, Venmo's parent, either. Players who want an app-style experience usually switch to crypto, which every partner takes, or play at a state-licensed site if they live in a licensing state. Our crypto wallets page explains where to hold coins.
Can I withdraw casino winnings to Venmo?
No partner pays out to Venmo. Withdrawals come as crypto, a bank wire or a check, after identity checks. Bitcoin payouts at SlotoCash are published at $100 to $2,500 per request with no casino fee. Whether you can then move crypto into an app depends on that app's own rules. See how long Bitcoin withdrawals take.
Can a friend deposit for me with their account?
No, and it can cost you your winnings. Casino terms expect deposits from payment methods in your own name, and verification compares your ID with your cards and accounts. Deposits from someone else's account can lead to frozen payouts, voided bonuses or a closed account. Our why casinos ask for documents guide explains these checks.
Is Litecoin a good Venmo alternative?
It can be, where the casino supports it at both ends. SlotoCash publishes Litecoin deposits from $10, and reviewers report Slot Madness pays out in Litecoin as well as Bitcoin. Elsewhere, payouts are usually Bitcoin only. Fees and confirmation times vary with the network. Read is Litecoin faster than Bitcoin before you pick a coin.
Why do Venmo and PayPal stay away from offshore casinos?
They are US payment companies linked to US banks, and UIGEA bars gambling businesses from accepting electronic fund transfers and similar payments tied to unlawful internet gambling. That makes processing for unlicensed casinos a legal and business risk for them. Read our PayPal casinos page for the parent company's side of the story.
Is someone selling casino credits on Venmo legit?
Assume it is a scam. Licensed and offshore casinos alike take deposits through their own cashier, not through an individual's handle. Payments to strangers are hard to dispute, and crypto generally can't be reversed. Report the account to the app and to ReportFraud.ftc.gov. Our casino red flags guide lists other warning signs.
Is it legal to gamble online with money from Venmo?
That depends on your state's law, not on where the money came from. Seven states license online casinos; elsewhere no state does, and our partners are offshore and not licensed by any state. Some states, such as Washington, set criminal penalties. Check are online casinos legal in the US and your state's page before playing.
How much does it cost to deposit crypto bought in an app?
The app's own buying fee or spread, a network fee, and possibly a casino fee. SlotoCash lists no fee on bitcoin deposits, and Silver Oak lists 0% on crypto. The app shows its charge before you confirm. On top of that, price swings can raise or cut your balance's dollar value. Our crypto fees guide breaks it down.
Does Miami Club Casino accept Venmo?
No. Miami Club’s own banking page lists cards, Bitcoin, Lightning, Ethereum, Tether, Bitcoin Cash, Litecoin, CardPay, Neosurf and eZee Wallet for deposits, and pays out by Bitcoin, Ethereum, bank wire and courier check, with no Venmo or PayPal option. Its terms require proof of identity for every withdrawal. Section 1.6 of its Terms of Use (v2.1, September 28, 2026) lists the United States as a prohibited jurisdiction, while the casino’s affiliate program confirms US players are accepted, so confirm at sign-up. See Miami Club banking and the Miami Club review.
Can I use Venmo at online casinos in Michigan?
Michigan players have a better route than any offshore casino: the state licenses online casinos under the Lawful Internet Gaming Act of 2019, with 15 authorized online casino platform providers on the Michigan Gaming Control Board’s 2026 list. Each licensed site’s cashier shows which payment methods it takes. The board treats unlicensed offshore sites as illegal and has sent cease-and-desist letters naming SlotoCash, Miami Club, Silver Oak, Planet 7 and Slot Madness. Players in Detroit, Grand Rapids and Warren should start with our Michigan guide and can I play online casinos in Michigan.
How fast are Slot Madness crypto payouts?
Reports disagree, so plan for the slower end. AskGamblers lists a pending period of 7–10 days with no weekend cashouts, LCB says players report 7–10 business days and in one case 20, and esports.gg says crypto is typically processed within minutes. Reviewers report a $20 minimum, no withdrawal fees and caps of $2,500 a week and $5,000 a month, with Bitcoin and Litecoin both listed as payout coins. None of these figures comes from the casino’s own pages, so check its current terms. See Slot Madness withdrawals and Slot Madness banking.
Can I get a casino bonus on crypto bought through a payment app?
Yes, if the casino accepts that coin and your deposit meets the bonus minimum, since bonus terms care about the amount and method at the casino, not where you bought the coin. SlotoCash sets $20 per welcome bonus and lists a crypto reload code, BLOCKFALL-1, with a $25 minimum and 27x wagering. Reviewers report EASY25CODE at Decode, a 400% match with 35x wagering and a $25 minimum. Codes change, so check the promotions page first. Bonuses are slot-focused and the house edge applies while you wager. 21+ (18+ where allowed); terms apply. See our crypto bonus page.
Do I need ID to withdraw if I deposited with crypto instead of Venmo?
Yes. Paying in crypto doesn’t skip identity checks at any partner. SlotoCash asks for photo ID and a recent utility bill before the first payout, Silver Oak blocks withdrawals until ID, a selfie and a utility bill are approved, and LCB reports that Decode may ask crypto depositors for photo ID, with document checks taking up to two days. Send documents early, through the casino’s official channel, so your first withdrawal isn’t held. Our how to verify your casino account guide lists what to prepare.
What is the cheapest crypto to cash out instead of Venmo?
At most partners, Bitcoin payouts carry no casino fee: SlotoCash and Miami Club list Bitcoin withdrawals as free, and reviewers report no withdrawal fees at Slot Madness, which also pays in Litecoin from a reported $20 minimum. Silver Oak is the exception, listing a $0–$40 fee per Bitcoin payout and 5% for Coindraw. The bigger costs usually sit outside the casino: your exchange’s fee to sell, the network fee and any price drop before you sell. Compare charges on our withdrawal fees page and the Bitcoin casinos guide.
