Zelle casinos: the straight answer

Zelle casinos, meaning offshore casinos that let you deposit or cash out through Zelle, aren't something any of our partner casinos offer. Zelle moves money between US bank accounts, and none of the partners lists it. The nearest bank-based option is the international wire, which is slower and carries fees. Here's how it compares, and how to avoid Zelle payment scams.

Key takeaways

  • No partner casino lists Zelle for deposits or payouts.
  • Bank wire is the closest bank-based route, with published fees of up to $60 per payout.
  • Anyone asking you to Zelle them to fund a casino account is a red flag.
  • UIGEA targets payment processing for unlawful internet gambling, which is why US banks keep away.
  • Partners are offshore and not licensed by any US state; check your state's law.

Are there Zelle casinos for US players?

Not among the seven live partners on this site. Zelle doesn't appear on the own banking pages of SlotoCash, Miami Club or Silver Oak, and it isn't in the payment lists reviewers report for Decode, Planet 7, Royal Ace or Slot Madness. That holds for deposits and for withdrawals.

What you can find is a bank wire, which also moves money out of a bank account but works very differently: it's international, slower, and the casino usually charges a fee to send one. For the full list of options, see our casino banking hub. For a one-paragraph answer, try can I use Zelle at online casinos.

How Zelle works, and why offshore casinos can't plug into it

Zelle is a US network owned by banks. It moves dollars between people who hold accounts at US banks and credit unions, using an email address or phone number. Zelle's own guidance stresses paying only people you know and trust, because a payment to an enrolled recipient is generally hard to cancel.

An offshore casino isn't a person with a US bank account, and US banks have strong reasons to avoid processing payments for unlicensed gambling. So there is no casino cashier button that sends a Zelle payment. If one appears, check who is actually receiving the money.

Zelle casinos, bank transfers and UIGEA

The Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act of 2006 bars gambling businesses from accepting credit, electronic fund transfers, checks and other designated payments in connection with unlawful internet gambling. You can read the prohibition in 31 U.S.C. § 5363 (opens in a new tab) and the definitions in 31 U.S.C. § 5362 (opens in a new tab).

A Zelle payment is an electronic fund transfer between banks, which is exactly the kind of payment banks are wary of when the merchant looks like a gambling site. It's the same reason many card issuers decline gambling transactions tagged MCC 7995. See our UIGEA page for the details.

UIGEA aims at the businesses and the payment flow. It doesn't make placing a bet a federal crime for the player; whether you may play is a question for your state's law.

Bank-based alternatives to Zelle at partner casinos

If what you like about Zelle is that money lands in your checking account, the closest match is a bank wire payout. Here is what each partner publishes or is reported to offer. Where two sources disagree, both figures are shown.

SlotoCash's two banking pages don't agree. Its main banking page (opens in a new tab) shows a $50 wire fee and 2 business days, while its payout methods page (opens in a new tab) shows $60, 7 to 14 business days, one request a week and a SWIFT code requirement. Check the cashier before you request one. Our bank wire page and bank wire guide explain the process.

What a wire payout costs compared with bitcoin

Fees matter more on small payouts. Here is the arithmetic on a $500 and a $2,000 payout, using each casino's published or reported wire fee, against SlotoCash's free bitcoin payout. Your own bank may also charge to receive an international wire; ask it before you request one.

Wire fee as a share of the payout
Payout$20 fee$50 fee$60 feeBitcoin at SlotoCash
$500$480 left (4%)$450 left (10%)$440 left (12%)$500 left (0%)
$2,000$1,980 left (1%)$1,950 left (2.5%)$1,940 left (3%)$2,000 left (0%)

Silver Oak adds one more rule worth knowing. Its terms say an 8% fee (minimum $4) applies if a deposit hasn't been wagered at least once before you withdraw. On a $300 unplayed deposit, that is $24. See withdrawal fees for every partner's charges.

Check by courier: the other bank-account route at partner casinos

A courier check is the slow, paper version of a bank payout, but it lands in the same checking account Zelle users care about. Every partner lists checks for withdrawals, with these published or reported terms.

Check payouts at partner casinos

Silver Oak$100$0–$257–10 daysCasino's banking page
DecodeNot published$304–6 business daysReported by reviewers

Courier delivery and your bank’s hold on a foreign check come on top of those times, so a check usually takes longer than a wire. On a $150 check at Miami Club, the $60 fee takes 40% of the payout, which makes checks a poor fit for small sums. Our check by courier page, best check payout casinos list and withdrawal limits page cover the details.

How to request a bank wire payout instead of Zelle

  1. Finish verification first. Partners ask for photo ID and proof of address, and Silver Oak's terms say withdrawals stay blocked until verification is complete.
  2. Check the minimum: $100 at SlotoCash and Silver Oak for wires, and more at some casinos per reviewer reports.
  3. Collect your bank's international wire details, including the SWIFT code SlotoCash's payout page asks for, and the exact account name.
  4. Make sure the name on the casino account matches the bank account name. A mismatch is a common reason for delays.
  5. Request one payout within the weekly cap rather than several small ones, since some casinos allow one wire request per week.
  6. Keep the casino's confirmation and watch for the incoming wire; ask your bank about any receiving fee.
  7. Record the amount and date for your taxes.

Zelle casino scams: when a person wants the payment

Search "Zelle casino" and you will find people, not casinos: chat-group "agents" who offer to top up your account, fake support staff who say a payout is stuck until you pay a fee, or sites that ask you to Zelle a personal email address. A real offshore cashier takes cards, crypto or wires; it doesn't route money through a stranger's bank account.

  • Never send a Zelle payment to fund a casino account or to release a withdrawal.
  • Check a casino's address bar against the review you trust. Unofficial mirror sites copy real brands.
  • If a payout needs an upfront fee, contact the casino through its official site, not through the person asking.
  • Report fraud to your bank straight away, and at ReportFraud.ftc.gov.

Our guides to casino red flags and casino mirror sites go further.

Bank payments at state-licensed online casinos

In New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Michigan, West Virginia, Delaware, Connecticut and Rhode Island, the state licenses online casinos. Those operators are overseen by state regulators, publish their own cashier options, and give you a state agency to complain to. Maine legalized tribal-run online casinos in January 2026, but nothing had launched by October 2026 and a lawsuit is pending.

Our offshore partners are not among the licensed operators in any of those states. If you live in one of them, a licensed site is the protected choice. Compare the two models in player protections, offshore vs licensed.

Zelle casinos and the law where you live

Outside those states, no state licenses online casinos, and the offshore partners are not licensed or regulated by any US state. That means no state regulator to hear a complaint, no state-backed protection of your balance, and terms the casino writes. Some states are stricter than others: Washington makes knowingly transmitting or receiving gambling information over the internet a class C felony under RCW 9.46.240. Reviewers report that Decode refuses players from Maryland, New Jersey, New York and Washington.

Winnings are taxable federal income whatever method pays them. For 2026, slot, bingo and keno wins of $2,000 or more trigger W-2G reporting, and the loss deduction is reported to be capped at 90% of losses from tax year 2026; check IRS guidance. Our gambling taxes page explains both, and offshore casinos legality covers the state rules.

Gambling should be a cost you can afford, not a way to make money; the house edge means losses are likely over time. If it's getting hard to stop, call or text 1-800-MY-RESET (1-800-697-3738), or see our gambling and money page.

Silver Oak publishes an Anjouan license through Primrose Media Limited, and the Michigan Gaming Control Board named it in an April 9, 2025 release (opens in a new tab). Bonuses are slot-focused; table games are often excluded or weighted lower.

Frequently asked questions

Can I use Zelle at online casinos?

Not at any of the offshore casinos we cover. None lists Zelle for deposits or withdrawals, because Zelle moves money between US bank accounts and US banks avoid processing payments for unlicensed gambling. The nearest bank-based option is an international wire payout, with fees of up to $60 at some partners. Our bank wire casinos page explains how that works.

Why don't offshore casinos accept Zelle?

Zelle runs through US banks, and UIGEA bars gambling businesses from accepting electronic fund transfers and other payments tied to unlawful internet gambling. Banks therefore keep their networks away from offshore casinos. That is also why card deposits are often declined. Read our UIGEA explainer for what the law does and doesn't cover.

Is a casino agent who takes Zelle legit?

Treat it as a scam warning. Real casino cashiers take cards, crypto or wires; they don't ask you to pay a private person's bank account. Zelle payments to enrolled recipients are generally hard to cancel, so the money may be gone for good. Report it to your bank and at ReportFraud.ftc.gov, and see our phishing scams guide.

Can I withdraw casino winnings to my bank account without Zelle?

Yes, through a bank wire where the casino offers one. SlotoCash and Silver Oak publish wire payouts of $100 to $2,500 per request, with fees of $50 to $60 and $0 to $20 respectively. Times range from 2 to 14 business days depending on the casino and the page you read. Our withdrawal times page compares them.

Which is cheaper, a wire or a bitcoin payout?

Bitcoin is usually cheaper on the casino side. SlotoCash publishes free bitcoin payouts but $50 or $60 for wires, so a $500 wire loses 10% to 12% in fees. Bitcoin brings network fees and price swings instead, and transfers generally can't be reversed. Compare both on our withdrawal fees page before you choose.

Is it legal to use Zelle for gambling?

It depends on your state's law and on the site. Seven states license online casinos, and licensed operators there follow state banking rules. Our partners are offshore and not licensed by any state, and some states, such as Washington, treat online gambling as a crime. Check can I get in trouble for playing online casinos first.

Can my bank block payments to casinos?

Yes, banks can and often do. Many issuers decline card transactions coded MCC 7995 by default, and banks are cautious about transfers that look gambling-related. Some players use bank-level blocks as a deliberate control on their spending, alongside blocking software. Our page on whether banks can block gambling explains the options.

Do I need to report casino winnings paid by wire?

Yes. Gambling winnings are taxable federal income however they reach you. For 2026, the W-2G threshold for slot, bingo and keno wins is $2,000, and from tax year 2026 the loss deduction is reported to be capped at 90% of losses, so check IRS guidance. Keep wire confirmations as records. Our keeping gambling records guide shows how.

Does Miami Club Casino accept Zelle?

No. Miami Club’s own banking page has no Zelle option for deposits or withdrawals. Its closest bank-based route is a wire payout from $150, with a $50 fee, a $2,500 weekly figure and 1–10 business days after processing; it also pays by courier check, Bitcoin and Ethereum. Its terms require proof of identity for every withdrawal. Section 1.6 of its Terms of Use (v2.1, September 28, 2026) lists the United States as a prohibited jurisdiction, while the casino’s affiliate program confirms US players are accepted, so confirm at sign-up. See Miami Club banking and our Miami Club review.

Can I deposit at Decode by bank wire instead of Zelle?

Third-party reviews say yes: they list bank wire and check among Decode’s deposit methods, alongside cards and crypto, though Decode’s own site doesn’t publish the details. For payouts, reviewers report wires from a €150 minimum with a $50 fee in 1–10 business days, and a $2,500 weekly wire cap in one listing. Reviewers also report that Decode refuses players from Maryland, New Jersey, New York and Washington. Confirm the wire instructions inside the cashier, never from an email. See Decode banking and Decode withdrawals.

Can I use Zelle at online casinos in Maryland?

Maryland doesn’t license online casinos, so there’s no lawful Zelle casino for players in Baltimore or elsewhere in the state. The Maryland Lottery and Gaming Control Agency says no real-money online gaming operates legally there beyond sports wagering and fantasy contests, and it has sent cease-and-desist letters to unlicensed operators. Maryland does license 12 online sports wagering operators and six commercial casinos, including MGM National Harbor and Horseshoe Baltimore. Reviewers report that Decode refuses Maryland players. Read our Maryland guide and sports betting laws page.

What bank details do I need for a casino wire payout?

Expect to give your bank’s international wire details, including a SWIFT code, which SlotoCash’s payout page says is required, plus the account number and the exact account name. That name must match your casino account and ID, or the payout can be held. Ask your bank first whether it accepts incoming international wires and what it charges to receive one. Some casinos also limit wires to one request a week, so ask for the largest amount the cap allows. See our bank wire guide and what is a bank wire withdrawal.

Does Silver Oak charge for bank wire withdrawals?

Silver Oak’s banking page lists a $0–$20 fee on wire payouts of $100 to $2,500, the lowest published wire fee among our partners, with a stated time of 7–10 days. Its terms add a review stage of 7–10 business days before payment, a weekly limit starting at $2,500 and an 8% fee (minimum $4) if your deposit wasn’t wagered at least once. Verification must be complete before any withdrawal. On a $1,000 wire, the casino fee is at most $20, or 2%. See Silver Oak withdrawals and our withdrawal fees comparison.

What should I do if I sent Zelle money to a fake casino agent?

Contact your bank straight away, explain that it was a scam and ask what it can do, because Zelle payments to an enrolled recipient are generally hard to cancel. Report it at ReportFraud.ftc.gov, keep screenshots of the chat and the payment, and stop all contact with the agent. Be wary of anyone who then offers to recover the money for a fee, which is a common follow-up scam. If the casino account itself is real, change its password and turn on two-factor sign-in. Our two-factor authentication guide and crypto casino scams page explain more.
