How to withdraw from an online casino: verify your account, finish or drop any bonus wagering, open the cashier, choose a payout method such as Bitcoin, bank wire or check, and request an amount between the casino's minimum and its cap. Then expect a review period. At offshore casinos, weekly caps and business-day processing decide how fast the money actually arrives.
Verification comes first: most casinos won't pay until your ID and proof of address are approved.
Weekly caps rule big wins: $12,000 can take three weeks at one casino and three months at another.
Bitcoin is usually the quickest published method; wires and checks carry fees of up to $60.
Published times and reported times differ; third-party reviews describe delays of a month or more at some brands.
Winnings are taxable federal income, whether or not you receive a W-2G.

How to withdraw from an online casino in eight steps
The process is similar at every casino; the differences are in the limits and the waiting. These steps follow the order that avoids the most common holdups. For the bigger picture of choosing a site with fair payout rules, see our guide on how to choose an online casino, and our guides for US players for every other step.
Complete verification: upload clear photo ID, proof of address and any payment proof the casino asks for.
Check your bonus status. If a bonus is active, finish its wagering or ask support about forfeiting it.
Read the withdrawal page for your method's minimum, maximum, fee and processing time.
Open the cashier and choose a withdrawal method. Many casinos require one you've deposited with.
For Bitcoin, paste your own wallet's receiving address and check it character by character.
Request an amount at or above the minimum and within the weekly cap; split larger sums across weeks.
Note the date, amount and any reference number, and save the confirmation email.
Wait out the review period without reversing the request, then confirm receipt in your wallet or bank.
Before you request a withdrawal: wagering, verification and fees
Most refused or delayed withdrawals trace back to one of three things. The first is verification. SlotoCash asks for photo ID and a recent utility bill once, before any payout, and Silver Oak's terms (opens in a new tab) block withdrawals until know-your-customer checks are done, asking for government ID, the front and back of cards used in the last three months, a selfie with ID and a utility bill from the last three months.
The second is an active bonus. Winnings from bonus play usually can't leave until the wagering is complete, and some terms add a max cashout. SlotoCash's general terms also say you aren't eligible for bonuses while a withdrawal is pending. The third is unplayed deposits: Silver Oak's terms charge 8% (minimum $4) if a deposit wasn't wagered at least once, so withdrawing an unplayed $200 could cost $16.
Casino withdrawal methods compared: Bitcoin, bank wire and check
US players at offshore casinos usually choose between Bitcoin, a bank wire and a check by courier. Cards are rarely available for payouts. The two partners that publish their own withdrawal tables are SlotoCash and Silver Oak.

SlotoCash's banking page (opens in a new tab) and its payout methods page (opens in a new tab) disagree on wire and check fees and on the check maximum, and the payout page adds a limit of one request a week per method. When pages conflict, ask support which applies and check the casino's current terms before you request. Our method guides for bank wire and check by courier explain how each one works.
For the other partners, figures come from third-party reviews. Decode is reported to pay Bitcoin from $100 within 48 hours, wires with a $50 fee in 1 to 10 business days and checks with a $30 fee in 4 to 6 business days. Planet 7, Royal Ace and Slot Madness are reported to pay by wire, check and Bitcoin, with minimums of $20 to $100 depending on the brand and source.

The Silver Oak line shows how a monthly rule can bite. Deposit $500 in total and win your way to $12,000, and your balance is 24 times your deposits, so the $5,000 monthly cap applies: $5,000, then $5,000, then $2,000, across three months. Silver Oak's terms also let pending requests stack up to four times the weekly limit. Our explainers on weekly withdrawal limits and cashing out big wins cover the planning.
SlotoCash's terms say VIP status can raise its limit, up to $30,000 for VIPs (period not stated), and Silver Oak's VIP page lists higher withdrawal limits by tier. Don't count on a raise you haven't been given in writing.
How long online casino withdrawals take, as published and as reported
A withdrawal has two clocks: the casino's review, often called the pending period, and the payment itself. Offshore casinos usually count business days only. SlotoCash's payout page says requests are processed within 48 business hours. Silver Oak's terms allow 7 to 10 business days of review plus 7 to 10 business days of payment, which can add up to about four weeks.
Third-party reports are often slower than published times. One reviewer lists pending periods of 5 to 7 days for Planet 7 and 7 to 10 days for Royal Ace and Slot Madness, with no weekend cashouts, and another says Planet 7 and Royal Ace payouts usually take more than a month. Treat published times as a best case. Our pages on withdrawal times and pending withdrawals compare more brands.
Withdrawal fees and how to keep more of your cashout
Fees take a bigger bite from small withdrawals. A $60 wire fee is 2.4% of a $2,500 payout but 40% of a $150 one. Silver Oak's Coindraw option charges 5%, so $1,000 arrives as $950 before any network costs.
Choose the method with the lowest fee for your amount; at SlotoCash, Bitcoin payouts are listed as free.
Withdraw in fewer, larger requests within the caps rather than many small ones.
Play through each deposit at least once if the terms charge a fee on unplayed deposits.
Factor in your own costs: network fees, and exchange fees if you convert Bitcoin to dollars.
Our page on withdrawal fees lists the fee rules we've found for each method.
The pending period and the urge to reverse a withdrawal
While a request is pending, some casinos let you cancel it and return the money to your balance. That option suits the casino, not you: money that goes back into play is exposed to the house edge again. Many players who intend to cash out end up playing the balance down instead.
If you find yourself reversing withdrawals to keep playing, that's a sign to pause. Ask support whether you can lock withdrawals once requested, set a deposit limit, or take a cool-off. Free, confidential help is available from the National Problem Gambling Helpline at 1-800-MY-RESET (1-800-697-3738). Our pages on reverse withdrawals and chasing losses explain the pattern.
When a casino withdrawal is late: what to do
Check the casino's terms for the published processing time, counting business days only.
Look for a message asking for more documents, including in your spam folder.
Contact support in writing through live chat or email and ask for the status and a date.
Keep a record of every request, reply, date and amount.
Note the dispute window: SlotoCash's terms require disputes within 14 days, and Silver Oak's within 3 days of the wager, with replies within 28 days.
If the casino names a licensing body or dispute service, follow its complaint process.
Post on a public complaint site only after you've given the casino a fair chance to answer.
With an offshore casino, no US state regulator will take your complaint, which is the biggest practical difference from a state-licensed site. Silver Oak's terms refer disputes to a Central Dispute System run by its software provider. Our guides on casino withdrawal delays and filing a casino complaint go step by step.
Taxes on online casino withdrawals
Gambling winnings are taxable federal income, whether you win at a licensed casino or an offshore one, and whether or not you receive a tax form. The IRS instructions for Form W-2G (opens in a new tab) set a $2,000 reporting threshold for slot, bingo and keno winnings paid in 2026.
From tax year 2026, the 2025 tax law is reported to cap the gambling loss deduction at 90% of losses, and only up to your winnings; check IRS guidance before you file. Keep records of deposits, withdrawals and sessions. Our pages on gambling taxes and keeping gambling records explain what to track.
Withdrawal terms at casinos with offers via our links
The three casinos below are offshore and not licensed or regulated by any US state, so payout disputes go to the casino, not a state regulator, and your balance has no state-backed protection. Decode Casino: $5,000 Welcome Bonus + 50 Free Spins, via our link (new players, 21+ or 18+ where allowed, terms apply). Its terms aren't readable on its own site; third-party reviews report codes with a $25 minimum and 25x to 35x wagering, Bitcoin withdrawals from $100 and a weekly cap of $2,500 or $5,000 (sources conflict). See the Decode withdrawals page.
Silver Oak Casino: $2,500 Welcome Bonus + 50 Free Spins, via our link (new players, 21+ or 18+ where allowed, terms apply). The casino's pages conflict on wagering (30x on the offer page, 40x for slots in the terms, 60x for table games and video poker), state no max withdrawal on the welcome match and list deposits from $30. Its banking page (opens in a new tab) shows Bitcoin payouts from $50 to $2,500. Michigan named Silver Oak and Planet 7 in an April 9, 2025 cease-and-desist release (opens in a new tab). See the Silver Oak review.
Planet 7 Casino: $2,750 Welcome Bonus + 45 Free Spins, via our link (new players, 21+ or 18+ where allowed, terms apply). Third-party reviews report a 200% match at 30x (bonus + deposit) on slots with a $1,000 max cashout, a $2,500 weekly withdrawal cap, and payouts that can take more than a month; sources disagree. Free spins and bonuses are slot-focused, and table games are often excluded or weighted lower. See the Planet 7 review.

Frequently asked questions
How long do online casino withdrawals take?
It depends on the casino and the method, and offshore casinos usually count business days only. SlotoCash's payout page says requests are processed within 48 business hours; Silver Oak's terms allow 7 to 10 business days of review plus 7 to 10 business days of payment. Third-party reviews report waits of more than a month at some brands. Treat published times as a best case. More casinos are compared in how long casino withdrawals take.
Why is my casino withdrawal still pending?
The most common reasons are unfinished verification, an active bonus with wagering left, or a request above the weekly cap. Casinos also review withdrawals manually and usually skip weekends. Check your email for document requests, then ask support in writing for the status and an expected date. Keep a record of each contact. Our answer to why a casino withdrawal is pending lists the fixes for each cause.
What is the minimum withdrawal at online casinos?
Minimums are often higher than deposit minimums. SlotoCash lists $100 for Bitcoin and bank wire and $150 for checks, Silver Oak lists $50 for Bitcoin and $100 for wire and check, and third-party reviews report $20 at Royal Ace and Slot Madness. If your balance is below the minimum, you can't withdraw it until it grows. The full comparison is in what is the minimum withdrawal.
Can I withdraw casino winnings to my credit card?
Usually not at offshore casinos. Payouts typically go by Bitcoin, bank wire or check, and neither SlotoCash nor Silver Oak lists cards among its withdrawal methods. Card networks code gambling transactions as MCC 7995 and many US issuers block them. Expect to set up a crypto wallet or provide bank details for a wire. We explain why in can I withdraw to my credit card.
What does a weekly withdrawal limit mean for my payout?
It's the most a casino will pay you in one week, whatever your balance. SlotoCash publishes $5,000 a week and $20,000 a month, Silver Oak starts at $2,500 a week, and third-party reviews report $2,500 a week at Planet 7, Royal Ace and Slot Madness. A large win is paid in installments, so a $12,000 balance can take three weeks or three months depending on the casino. See what is a weekly withdrawal limit.
Do I have to pay a fee to withdraw from an online casino?
Sometimes. SlotoCash lists free Bitcoin payouts but charges for wires and checks, with its pages giving $50 or $60 for a wire. Silver Oak lists fees of $0 to $40 depending on method, 5% for Coindraw, and 8% (minimum $4) if a deposit wasn't wagered at least once. Third-party reviews report no withdrawal fees at Planet 7, Royal Ace and Slot Madness. See our withdrawal fees page.
Do I pay tax on online casino withdrawals?
Yes, gambling winnings are taxable federal income, wherever you win and whether or not you receive a W-2G. For payments in 2026, the IRS reporting threshold for slot, bingo and keno winnings is $2,000. From tax year 2026, the loss deduction is reported to be capped at 90% of losses and only up to your winnings; check IRS guidance. Our answer to do I pay tax on casino winnings covers state taxes too.
What can I do if an offshore casino won't pay?
Start with the casino: check the terms for the reason, supply any missing documents and ask support in writing for a decision and date. Keep records, and note any dispute deadline, such as 14 days in SlotoCash's terms. No US state regulator oversees offshore casinos, so your next steps are the casino's licensing body, if it names one, and public complaint sites. Our casino ADR and complaints guide explains each route.
What is the fastest way to withdraw from an online casino?
Bitcoin is usually the fastest published payout method at offshore casinos, and it is often the cheapest too. SlotoCash's payout page lists Bitcoin withdrawals as free and processed within 48 business hours, and third-party reviews report Decode paying Bitcoin within 48 hours. Wires and checks at the same casinos carry fees and longer processing. Speed also depends on you: an account verified in advance and no active bonus remove the two most common holdups. Compare brands in our answer on which online casino pays out fastest.
How much can I withdraw from an online casino at one time?
Most partner casinos cap a single request at $2,500, separate from their weekly and monthly limits. SlotoCash's banking page lists $2,500 per request for Bitcoin and wire, and its payout page adds a limit of one request a week per method. Silver Oak's banking page shows $2,500 maximums on Bitcoin, wire, check and Coindraw. So a $6,000 balance at SlotoCash would arrive as $2,500, $2,500 and $1,000 if those limits apply. VIP tiers can raise limits, but only count on a raise you have in writing. Our withdrawal limits page compares more casinos.
Can I cancel a casino withdrawal after I request it?
At many casinos, yes: while a request is still pending, you can often reverse it and return the money to your balance. That option works in the casino's favor, because money back in play faces the house edge again, and many players who meant to cash out end up losing the balance. If you're tempted to reverse withdrawals, ask support whether it can lock requests once made, or take a short break first. A cool-off period is one way to stop a pending payout from turning into more play.
How do bank wire withdrawals from online casinos work?
A bank wire sends your payout straight to your bank account, but it usually costs more and takes longer than Bitcoin. SlotoCash's pages list wires from $100 to $2,500, a $50 or $60 fee depending on the page, SWIFT details needed and up to 7 to 14 business days on one page. Silver Oak lists wires from $100 with a $0 to $20 fee in 7 to 10 days, and third-party reviews report a $50 fee at Decode. When the casino's pages conflict, ask support which fee applies. Our bank wire guide walks through the details to provide.
Can I withdraw a casino bonus as cash?
Not straight away; bonus money and its winnings usually become withdrawable only after you finish the wagering requirement. Some offers also carry a max cashout that removes anything above the cap: third-party reviews report $1,000 on Planet 7's WELCOME200 and 10x the deposit at Royal Ace. SlotoCash's welcome terms list no max cashout, and Silver Oak states no max withdrawal on its welcome match. If you want a free withdrawal, ask support about forfeiting the bonus before you play. Our answer on whether you can withdraw a bonus explains the rules.
Can I withdraw from an online casino in Connecticut?
Yes, at Connecticut's state-licensed online casinos, which the Department of Consumer Protection's Gaming Division oversees. The state licenses two online casino operators, DraftKings with the Mashantucket Pequot Tribe (Foxwoods) and FanDuel with the Mohegan Tribe (Mohegan Sun), under Public Act 21-23. If a licensed site delays a payout, you have a state regulator to complain to. Offshore casinos are not licensed in Connecticut, which also banned dual-currency sweepstakes from October 1, 2025. Read our Connecticut online casinos page before choosing a site.
