What does 300% bonus mean? It means the casino adds bonus credit equal to three times your deposit, so $100 in becomes $400 to play with: your $100 plus $300 of bonus. That credit is locked behind wagering, caps and game rules, so its real worth is usually far below the headline number.
A 300% match pays $3 of bonus for every $1 you deposit, up to the offer's cap.
At 30x deposit plus bonus, a $100 deposit with a 300% match needs $12,000 in eligible bets.
The wagering multiple and max cashout matter more than the percentage itself.
Partner offers near 300% are mostly reported by third parties, so check the terms shown at sign-up.

What does 300% bonus mean? The short answer
A 300% bonus is a match bonus that adds three dollars of bonus credit for every dollar you deposit. Deposit $50 and you get $150 of bonus, for a $200 balance. The percentage describes the bonus alone, not your total, which is why a 300% match leaves you with four times your deposit, not three.
Nearly every offer also has a ceiling, written as "300% up to $X". Once your deposit pushes the bonus past that ceiling, the extra deposit earns nothing. The table shows how a 300% match plays out at common deposit sizes, assuming a $1,500 cap for illustration.
A 300% match at different deposits (illustrative $1,500 cap)
The formula is short: bonus = deposit × 3, then capped at the maximum. Two details change the outcome. The first is the minimum deposit, often $20 to $30 at offshore casinos, because anything below it gets no bonus at all. The second is whether the bonus is split across several deposits, in which case "300%" may apply only to one of them.
Some sites quote the total package instead of the match on each deposit. A "$3,000 welcome bonus" could be one 300% match up to $3,000, or five smaller matches that add up to $3,000. Read the per-deposit breakdown before deciding what the headline means for your first deposit.
Find the match percentage and the cap for the deposit you are about to make.
Multiply your planned deposit by 3 to get the bonus.
If that figure is above the cap, use the cap instead.
Add your deposit to get the starting balance that wagering is usually calculated on.
300% bonus wagering: what you bet before cashing out
Bonus credit isn't cash. You must place a set amount of bets, the wagering requirement, before the balance can be withdrawn. Offshore casinos usually express it as a multiple of deposit plus bonus, and that choice makes a big difference on a 300% offer, because the bonus is the larger part of the balance.

Those bets aren't free of cost. Expected loss equals total stake times the house edge. Take a slot with a 4% edge (a 96% return) for illustration: $12,000 in spins carries an expected loss of $480, which is more than the whole $400 balance. On average, the bonus runs out before the wagering does. Our guide to the expected value of a bonus walks through this in more detail.
Results vary from session to session. Some players finish wagering with money left and many don't. The house edge means losses are likely over time, so treat any bonus as extra playing time, not a way to make money.
Is a 300% bonus better than a 100% or 200% bonus?
Not automatically. A bigger match brings a bigger balance, but it also brings a bigger wagering bill in dollars. The fairer comparison is what's expected to remain once wagering ends.

The last row shows why the multiple matters more than the percentage: a 300% match at a low multiple beats a 100% match, while the same 300% at 30x is expected to be used up. Compare offers with our 200% match bonus and 400% match bonus pages, which use the same method.
Max cashout and max bet rules on big match bonuses
A max cashout caps what you can withdraw from bonus play, however much you win. High-percentage offers carry these caps more often than plain 100% matches. Third-party listings report Planet 7's WELCOME200 code with a $1,000 max cashout, and Royal Ace's 200% welcome with a cap of 10 times the deposit, so a $100 deposit could withdraw at most $1,000 from bonus play.
Max bet rules are the other trap. SlotoCash's own bonus terms set a $10 per-spin limit while a bonus is active, and breaking such a rule can void winnings. Our max cashout rules page explains how casinos apply both.
Which games count toward a 300% bonus
Match bonuses at these casinos are built for slots. SlotoCash's terms list slots, Real-Series video slots (not progressives), keno and scratch cards as eligible, and say play on other games voids promotion winnings. Silver Oak's terms exclude baccarat, craps, roulette, live dealer games and progressives, among others.
Table games are often excluded or weighted lower, so a 300% bonus played on blackjack may clear slowly or not count at all. Check the game weighting rules in the terms before you place a single bet.
Partner casinos with bonuses near 300%
None of our partners publishes a plain 300% welcome match on its own site that we could confirm. The closest figures come from review sites and one casino's VIP page. Treat third-party figures as reports that may be out of date.
300% bonuses at offshore casinos: the US legal picture
Big match percentages are mainly an offshore-casino feature. Only seven states license real-money online casinos: New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Michigan, West Virginia, Delaware, Connecticut and Rhode Island. Our partners are not among their licensees, and no US state licenses or regulates them. State law decides what's allowed where you live, so read our page on offshore casino legality.
These are the partner offers we promote that sit closest to a 300% match. Each casino is offshore and not licensed by any US state, so check your state's law first. New players only, 21+ (18+ where allowed), terms apply.
Slot Madness Casino: $2,500 Welcome Bonus + 50 Free Spins, via our link (new players, 21+ or 18+ where allowed, terms apply). Third-party reviews report a 275% match with code MAD275, a $30 minimum, 30x deposit plus bonus on slots and no max cashout; the casino's own terms weren't available to confirm. Third-party reviews also report that Slot Madness doesn't accept players from Ohio.
Planet 7 Casino: $2,750 Welcome Bonus + 45 Free Spins, via our link (new players, 21+ or 18+ where allowed, terms apply). Third-party listings report WELCOME200 at 200% with 30x deposit plus bonus and a $1,000 max cashout, and a 300% VIP code; codes change, so confirm in the cashier.
Silver Oak Casino: $2,500 Welcome Bonus + 50 Free Spins, via our link (new players, 21+ or 18+ where allowed, terms apply). Its own site advertises a different $10,000 package of ten 100% matches, with 30x on the offer page but 40x in its terms (60x on table games and video poker), deposits from $30 and no max withdrawal.

Frequently asked questions
What does 300% bonus mean in simple terms?
It means the casino adds three times your deposit as bonus credit. A $100 deposit brings $300 of bonus, so you start with $400. The bonus part is locked until you meet the wagering requirement, and it usually has a maximum, such as "300% up to $1,500", beyond which extra deposit earns nothing. Our match bonus explainer covers the basics, and the 300% match bonus page goes further.
How much do I get with a 300% bonus on $50?
You get $150 of bonus credit and a $200 starting balance, provided $50 meets the minimum deposit and the cap is at least $150. Many offshore casinos set minimums of $20 to $30 for a bonus. Wagering is then usually worked out on the $200, so at 30x you'd need $6,000 in eligible bets. See wagering requirements explained for the method.
When is a 300% casino bonus worth it?
It depends on the wagering multiple, the max cashout and the games allowed, not on the percentage. A 300% match at 30x deposit plus bonus needs $12,000 in bets on a $100 deposit, and at a 4% house edge that's an expected $480 cost against a $400 balance. The same match at 10x would be far better value. Use our bonus value method to compare offers.
Is a 300% bonus the same as tripling my money?
No. Your balance becomes four times your deposit, but three quarters of it is bonus credit that can't be withdrawn until wagering is met. Winnings during wagering depend on chance, and the house edge works against you throughout. The bonus extends playing time; it doesn't multiply what you can cash out. Read our house edge guide for why losses are likely over time.
Does a 300% bonus have a max cashout?
Sometimes, and it's one of the first terms to check. Third-party listings report a $1,000 max cashout on Planet 7's WELCOME200 code and a cap of 10 times the deposit on Royal Ace's welcome, while Slot Madness's 275% is reported with none. A cap well below your balance limits what bonus play can return. Our max cashout explainer has examples in dollars.
Can I play blackjack with a 300% bonus?
Usually not in a useful way. These offers are built for slots, and table games are often excluded or weighted lower. SlotoCash's terms limit welcome bonus play to slots, keno and scratch cards, and Silver Oak's terms exclude roulette, baccarat and craps, among others. Playing an excluded game can void bonus winnings. Check our page on which games count toward wagering first.
Do I need a code for a 300% bonus?
Often yes. Offshore casinos commonly attach match bonuses to codes entered in the cashier, such as the MAD275 code third-party reviews report for Slot Madness. Codes change and expire, so only trust codes shown in the casino's own cashier or terms. Never rely on codes from unofficial mirror sites. Our bonus codes guide explains how codes work and why they stop working.
Are 300% bonuses legal in the US?
The bonus itself isn't the legal question; the casino is. Only seven states license real-money online casinos, and big percentage matches mostly come from offshore sites that no US state licenses or regulates. State law decides what's allowed for you, so check it before you deposit. Our page on whether online casinos are legal in the US gives the state-by-state picture.
What do I get with a 300% bonus on a $200 deposit?
A 300% match on $200 adds $600 of bonus credit, for an $800 starting balance, as long as the offer’s cap is at least $600. If the cap is lower, say $500, you’d get $500 and a $700 balance, and $100 of the match would be lost. Wagering then usually runs on deposit plus bonus: at 30x, $800 means $24,000 in eligible bets. At a 4% house edge, that play carries an expected cost of $960, more than the whole balance. Check the cap first on our 300% match bonus page, and see bonus wagering requirements for the math.
Does Silver Oak Casino offer a 300% bonus?
Not to new players on its own site, but its VIP page lists deposit bonuses of 250% to 325% for VIP tiers and Bitcoin bonuses of 325% to 400%. The tiers run from Silver, with a $500 instant upgrade, through Gold, Platinum and Diamond to Elite at $8,000. Wagering for those VIP bonuses isn’t stated on the page. New players see a different package: a 100% match on each of the first ten deposits, with 30x on the offer page and 40x for slots in the terms. Our Silver Oak VIP program page lists the tiers, and the Silver Oak welcome bonus page covers the new-player terms.
What is the PLANET300 code at Planet 7 Casino?
PLANET300 is a 300% code that Blockonomi lists as a VIP offer at Planet 7, alongside a 325% code called TRYAGAIN. That review gives no wagering, cap or max cashout for either, and Planet 7’s own terms weren’t available to confirm them, so treat both as unverified. The better-documented Planet 7 code is WELCOME200, which LCB reports at 200% with 30x deposit plus bonus on slots and a $1,000 max cashout. Codes change, so check the cashier before you deposit. Michigan’s regulator named Planet 7 in April 2025. See Planet 7 bonus codes and do bonus codes expire.
Is a 300% bonus better than a free chip?
They do different jobs: a 300% match needs a deposit, while a free chip is a small no-deposit credit with tight cashout limits. Silver Oak’s no deposit page lists chips of $25 to $100 at 30x with a $100 max cashout, and SlotoCash caps free-bonus cashouts at $200. A 300% match on $100 gives a $400 balance, but at 30x deposit plus bonus that’s $12,000 of bets, against $750 for a $25 chip at 30x. The free chip risks none of your money but can pay out little. Compare them in what is a free chip and our no deposit bonus guide.
What happens if I break the max bet rule on a 300% bonus?
Breaking a max bet rule can void your bonus and any winnings from it, so it’s one of the costliest mistakes on a big match. SlotoCash’s bonus terms cap bets at $10 per spin while a bonus is active, and they say playing excluded games also voids promotion winnings. On a 300% match with a $400 balance, one $15 spin could put the whole balance at risk under rules like these. Casinos set and enforce these terms themselves, with no state regulator to appeal to offshore. Our bonus abuse rules page and why was my bonus removed answer explain how casinos apply them.
Can I get a 300% casino bonus in Pennsylvania?
A 300% offer in Pennsylvania has state oversight only if it comes from a casino the state licenses; big percentage matches are mainly a feature of offshore sites that Pennsylvania doesn’t license. The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board listed 12 interactive gaming certificateholders with 25 authorized brands as of February 13, 2026, and only those are state-licensed. An offshore 300% offer gives you no Pennsylvania regulator to complain to if a bonus is voided or a cashout capped. Check the board’s list before you deposit anywhere. Our Pennsylvania casino bonuses page and Pennsylvania online casinos hub compare the options.
