A casino check by courier is a paper check the casino's processor sends to your home address by courier, for you to deposit at your bank. It suits US players who don't use crypto and don't want to share wire details, but fees of up to $60 and minimums of $100 to $150 make it poor value for small cashouts.

What a casino check by courier is
When you choose a check payout, the casino's payment processor writes a check in your name and sends it to the address on your account with a courier service. You then deposit it at your bank like any other check. SlotoCash's banking page calls the method "Courier Check"; other casinos and reviewers simply list "Check".
It's a payout route only. Among our partners, a third-party listing shows check as a deposit option at Decode, but no fee or minimum is given, and players almost always fund accounts by card or crypto. For every other way to move money, see the casino banking hub.
Courier firms, delivery times and bank holds aren't published by the casinos in the sources available to us. The times below cover only the casino's side unless stated.
Casino check by courier terms at each partner
"Primary" means the figure is on the casino's own site; "third-party" means review sites report it.
SlotoCash's own pages disagree. Its banking page (opens in a new tab) lists a courier check at $150–$2,500 with a $60 fee, while its payout-methods page (opens in a new tab) lists a check at $30, a maximum printed as "$3.000" and one request per week. Ask support which applies before you request one.
What a check payout costs: worked examples
Because the fee is flat, it matters most near the minimum. These examples use the published fees only; any charge your bank makes is extra.

So a $150 check from SlotoCash leaves you $90 or $120, depending on which fee applies. The same $150 as a Bitcoin payout is free there, according to its banking page, though you'd then need to sell the coins. Silver Oak also charges 8% (minimum $4) on withdrawals made before the deposit has been wagered once, per its terms. Compare costs on our withdrawal fees page.
How long a casino check by courier takes
Think of the wait in stages, because only the first is published by most casinos.
Casino review. SlotoCash says it processes within 48 business hours, or 2 business days, on business days only. Silver Oak's terms allow 7–10 business days of review, then 7–10 business days for payment.
Courier delivery. The check travels to your verified address. Delivery times aren't published by the casinos.
Your bank's hold. Your bank decides how long to hold a deposited check before the money is available. Ask it in advance how it treats a check from a casino's payment processor.
Weekly limits. SlotoCash's payout page allows one check request per week, so a larger balance needs several weeks.
Decode's 4–6 business days comes from a third-party listing. Reviewers report pending periods of 7–10 days at Royal Ace and Slot Madness before any payout is sent. See our withdrawal times page for every method.
How to request a check payout without delays
Complete verification early. SlotoCash asks for photo ID and a recent utility bill; Silver Oak asks for ID, a selfie with it, a utility bill from the last three months and card photos.
Make sure the address on your casino profile matches your utility bill and is where you'll be when the check arrives.
Request at least the minimum ($150 at SlotoCash, $100 at Silver Oak) and stay within weekly caps.
Note the request date, amount and any tracking number support gives you.
Deposit the check promptly when it arrives, and keep a photo of both sides until it clears.
A check makes sense if you don't hold crypto and would rather not hand over bank account details. For larger, repeated withdrawals, a wire's fee is similar and the money lands directly; see casino bank wire. If you're comfortable with crypto, a Bitcoin payout avoids fees at SlotoCash; see Bitcoin casinos.
Other offshore casinos that pay by check
Several non-partner brands publish check payouts on their own help pages. They're listed for comparison only, and none is licensed by a US state.
BetOnline: check by courier in 7 business days, $500 minimum.
Wild Casino: check in 7 business days, $500 minimum.
Sloto'Stars: a $35 fee on check or wire withdrawals under $500.
Note how much higher the $500 minimums are than the partners' $100 to $150.
What to do if a casino check is lost or late
Give it the full published processing time plus a reasonable delivery window, then contact support in writing with the request date, amount and any tracking reference. Ask whether the check has been issued and, if it's lost, how the casino handles a stop and reissue, including whether a second fee applies.
Keep every email and chat transcript. Because these casinos are offshore, there's no state regulator to take a complaint; your routes are the casino's own process and independent mediators. Our casino complaint guide explains the order to try them in.
Check payouts and US gambling law
Paper checks appear by name in federal law. UIGEA, 31 U.S.C. § 5363 (opens in a new tab), bars gambling businesses from knowingly accepting checks, drafts and similar instruments, as well as credit and electronic transfers, in connection with unlawful internet gambling. It aims at operators, not players, and whether gambling is unlawful turns on the law of the player's state. See UIGEA explained.
Seven states license real-money online casinos: New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Michigan, West Virginia, Delaware, Connecticut and Rhode Island. Elsewhere, no state licenses them. Michigan's Gaming Control Board has called several offshore brands illegal operators, naming Slot Madness in an August 14, 2025 release (opens in a new tab) and SlotoCash on October 8, 2026. See our cease-and-desist letters page and your state on the states hub.
Winnings paid by check are taxable federal income, just like any other gambling win; see gambling taxes.
Worked example: a $4,000 casino payout by check, wire or Bitcoin
Flat fees and weekly limits matter more than the method's name once a balance grows. Here's how a $4,000 balance would leave two partners that publish their own terms, before any courier delivery time or bank hold.
At SlotoCash
SlotoCash's payout page allows one request per method each week, with checks capped at $2,500 on its banking page or $3,000 on its payout page, and an overall limit of $5,000 a week. Two checks ($2,500, then $1,500) cost $120 at the $60 fee or $60 at the $30 fee, and take at least two weekly requests. Two wires cost $100 to $120. Two Bitcoin payouts of up to $2,500 each cost nothing at the casino end, though you then sell the coins.
At Miami Club
Miami Club's banking page lists checks from $150 up to $3,000 a week with a $60 fee, and wires up to $2,500 a week with a $50 fee. A $4,000 check payout would arrive as $3,000 and then $1,000, costing $120, with 4–12 business days after processing for each. By wire it would be $2,500 then $1,500 for $100. Its Terms of Use list the United States as prohibited in section 1.6, while the site owner's affiliate program confirms US players are accepted, so confirm at sign-up.

SlotoCash Casino: $6,000 Welcome Bonus + 60 Free Spins, via our link (new players, 21+ or 18+ where allowed, terms apply). On its own site SlotoCash advertises $7,777 + 300 spins across five deposits, with 25x (deposit + bonus) wagering, a $20 minimum per bonus and no max cashout (primary). The terms shown at sign-up apply.
Slot Madness Casino: $2,500 Welcome Bonus + 50 Free Spins, via our link (new players, 21+ or 18+ where allowed, terms apply). Third-party listings report a 275% match with code MAD275, a $30 minimum and 30x (bonus + deposit) on slots; one says $2,750 maximum and another says unlimited. Codes change.
Decode Casino: $5,000 Welcome Bonus + 50 Free Spins, via our link (new players, 21+ or 18+ where allowed, terms apply). Decode shows no bonus terms on its own site; third-party listings report codes such as DECODE111 with 25x (bonus + deposit) and a $25 minimum. These bonuses are built for slots, so expect table games to be excluded or weighted lower.

Frequently asked questions
What does check by courier mean at an online casino?
It means the casino's payment processor sends you a paper check by courier. You deposit it at your bank like any other check. SlotoCash lists it as "Courier Check", with a $150 minimum, while other casinos just say "Check". It's a payout method, not a way to deposit. Our check payouts guide covers delivery and depositing in more detail.
How much does a casino check payout cost?
At our partners, from nothing to $60 per check. SlotoCash lists $60 on its banking page and $30 on its payout page, Silver Oak lists $0–$25, and a third-party listing gives Decode's fee as $30. Reviewers report no fee at Slot Madness, Royal Ace and Planet 7. On a $150 check, a $60 fee takes 40%. Compare all methods on our withdrawal fees page.
How long does each partner casino take to send a courier check?
Casinos publish only their own processing time: 2 business days at SlotoCash, 7–10 days at Silver Oak after up to 10 business days of review, and 4–6 business days at Decode by a third-party account. Courier delivery and your bank's hold come on top, and neither is published. Plan for a wait of weeks, not days. See our withdrawal times page for faster routes.
What is the minimum casino check withdrawal?
It's $150 at SlotoCash and $100 at Silver Oak, according to their own banking pages. Reviewers report a $20 minimum across all methods at Slot Madness and Royal Ace, though that may not apply to checks. Non-partner brands such as BetOnline and Wild Casino publish $500 check minimums. Because fees are flat, a check near the minimum loses a big share; see our withdrawal limits page.
Can I deposit at a casino with a check?
Rarely. A third-party listing shows check among Decode's deposit methods, but no partner publishes a check deposit minimum or fee, and processing a mailed check would take far longer than a card or crypto deposit. Most US players fund accounts by card or Bitcoin and use checks only to cash out. Our minimum deposits page compares the realistic deposit options and their minimums.
Why do casinos need proof of address for a check payout?
Because the check goes to that address, and casinos must match the recipient to the account holder before paying. SlotoCash asks for photo ID and a recent utility bill; Silver Oak asks for a utility bill from the last three months, plus ID and a selfie. Keep the address on your account current. Our KYC documents page lists what each casino typically asks for.
Is a casino check payout safer than a bank wire?
Each has trade-offs. A check avoids giving the casino your bank account details, but it can be lost in transit and takes longer to clear. A wire lands directly in your account but needs SWIFT details. Neither route gives you a state regulator to appeal to, because these casinos are offshore. Our casino bank wire page sets out the wire side for comparison.
Do I have to report casino winnings paid by check?
Yes. Gambling winnings are taxable federal income however they're paid. From the 2026 tax year, the 2025 tax law reportedly caps the loss deduction at 90% of losses, and only up to your winnings, so check current IRS guidance. Keep copies of each check and your casino transaction history. Our keeping gambling records guide shows a simple way to do it.
Does Miami Club Casino pay out by check?
Yes, Miami Club's banking page lists courier check withdrawals from $150, up to $3,000 a week, with a $60 fee and 4–12 business days after processing. Its Terms of Use set an overall cap of $5,000 a week, with larger sums paid in weekly installments. On a $150 check, the $60 fee takes 40%, so a Bitcoin payout (free there, from $100) costs less if you hold crypto. On eligibility, its terms (v2.1, September 28, 2026, section 1.6) list the United States as a prohibited jurisdiction, while the site owner's affiliate program confirms US players are accepted, so confirm at sign-up. See Miami Club banking.
Can I get a big casino win paid by check?
Yes, but in installments, because check payouts are capped per request and per week. SlotoCash's payout page allows one check request a week at up to $2,500 or $3,000, depending on which of its pages you read, within an overall $5,000 weekly cap. A $10,000 balance would take four weekly checks, costing $120 at a $30 fee or $240 at $60. Silver Oak caps each check at $2,500. Courier delivery and bank holds add more time to each one. See our cashing out big wins guide and weekly withdrawal limits.
Does Silver Oak Casino pay by check?
Yes, Silver Oak's banking page lists check payouts from $100 to $2,500 with a $0–$25 fee and a 7–10 day time. Its terms add up to 10 business days of review first, so the full wait can stretch to several weeks before courier delivery and your bank's hold. The terms also charge 8% (minimum $4) if you withdraw a deposit you haven't wagered once. Before the first check, expect to send ID, a selfie with it, a utility bill from the last three months and card photos. Silver Oak is offshore and licensed in Anjouan. See Silver Oak banking.
How do I deposit a casino check at my bank?
Deposit it the same way as any other check made out to you, then wait for your bank to release the funds. The check comes from the casino's payment processor, not the casino by name, and your bank decides how long to hold it. Ask your bank beforehand how it treats a check from an overseas or unfamiliar processor and whether any fee applies. Take a photo of both sides before you deposit, and keep it until the money clears. If the bank questions the check, explain its source honestly. Our check payouts guide and keeping gambling records help.
What happens if I move before my casino check arrives?
Contact the casino's support in writing straight away, because the check goes to the address on your account. A mismatch between your casino profile, your proof-of-address documents and where you now live is one of the easiest ways to stall a payout, and the casino may ask for a fresh utility bill before it will reissue. Ask whether the check has already been sent, whether it can be stopped, and whether a second fee applies. Ideally, don't request a check while a move is coming up. See why casinos ask for documents and pending withdrawals.
Which online casinos pay out by check to US players?
Among our partners, SlotoCash and Silver Oak publish check payouts on their own pages and Miami Club lists courier checks on its banking page, while Decode is reported to pay by check. Several non-partner offshore brands publish check payouts too: BetOnline and Wild Casino with $500 minimums, Cafe Casino in 4–7 business days, and Sloto'Stars with a $35 fee on checks under $500. None is licensed by a US state. Compare partners on our best check payout casinos list, which uses a disclosed commercial order, or read what is a check by courier.
