Casino VIP bonus guide

A casino VIP bonus is a reward kept for loyal or high-volume players: bigger reload matches, monthly cashback, faster payouts and comp points that turn into bonus credit. Most of it is a partial rebate on money already lost, not a profit. This guide shows what VIP perks are worth in dollars at the casinos that publish them, and where the catches sit.

Key takeaways

  • VIP perks mostly return a slice of your losses; they don't change the house edge on the games.
  • Comp points at 100 points = $1 work out to roughly 0.13% to 0.25% of your bets at SlotoCash's published earn rates.
  • SlotoCash and Silver Oak publish their VIP tiers; for Planet 7, Royal Ace and Slot Madness only third-party scraps exist.
  • Never raise deposits just to keep a tier; that is the point where loyalty schemes turn harmful.

What is a casino VIP bonus?

A casino VIP bonus is any reward a casino reserves for players in its loyalty or VIP program. Where a welcome bonus is aimed at new sign-ups, VIP bonuses target people who already deposit and play regularly. They sit alongside the other offers explained on our casino bonuses hub.

The perks differ by casino but usually include bigger reload matches, monthly or weekly cashback, comp points, birthday or appreciation chips, higher withdrawal limits and a personal host. The VIP program glossary entry gives the short definition; this page prices the perks.

Types of VIP casino bonuses and how each one pays

Common VIP perks and what they really return
PerkHow it paysWhat to check
VIP reload matchA percentage added to a deposit, often dailyWagering, max bet, eligible games
CashbackA share of net losses returned weekly or monthlyWhether it is cash or bonus, and its wagering
Comp pointsPoints per dollar wagered, swapped for bonus creditEarn rate, redemption minimum, expiry
Appreciation chipsOne-off credits from a host or at tier changesWagering and max cashout
Faster or bigger payoutsHigher caps or priority processingWhether the cap and timing are written down

For the mechanics of each, see our pages on the cashback bonus, comp points and the reload bonus.

How VIP tiers are earned: invitation or points

Casinos use two broad routes into VIP status. Some count points or deposits and move you up automatically when you pass a threshold. Others keep the club invitation-only and let a VIP team pick players based on activity, without publishing the bar.

SlotoCash uses the second route: its VIP club page says membership is by management invitation for active players who have submitted their security documents, and no thresholds are published. Silver Oak lists dollar figures next to each tier name and an instant Silver upgrade at $500, though the summary doesn't spell out the period those amounts cover. Our how VIP programs work answer goes through both models.

SlotoCash VIP bonus: three published tiers

The SlotoCash VIP Club page (opens in a new tab) is one of the more detailed among offshore RTG and Spinlogic casinos. Its three tiers, as the casino lists them:

SlotoCash VIP tiers (casino's VIP page)
TierDaily matchComp earn rateMonthly cashbackOther perks
Gold110% + 50 spins1 point per $7.50 bet5% of net lossesWeekly $50 reward
Platinum125% + 50 spins1 point per $5 bet10% of net lossesExpedited withdrawals; no max bet rule
Diamond150% + 50 spins1 point per $4 bet15% of net lossesExpedited withdrawals; no max bet rule

The page also lists a Weekend Jackpot Bonus of up to $1,000 a day from Thursday to Sunday and VIP instant cashback of 35% on Monday to Wednesday deposits and 50% from Thursday to Sunday. SlotoCash's banking page says VIP status can raise withdrawals to up to $30,000, without stating the period. Full detail is on our SlotoCash VIP program page.

Silver Oak VIP program: five tiers

The Silver Oak VIP program page (opens in a new tab) names five tiers, listed at $500 (an instant upgrade to Silver), $1,000, $3,000, $5,000 and $8,000. Across the tiers, the casino lists:

  • Appreciation chips from $100 to $700.
  • Deposit bonuses of 250% to 325%, and Bitcoin bonuses of 325% to 400%.
  • Monthly cashback from 4% to 35%, and weekly cashback of up to $2,500 to $7,500.
  • Higher withdrawal limits, plus priority payments and a personal host from Platinum up.

Comp points at Silver Oak convert at 100 points to $1 and expire after 12 months, per its promotions page. The large match percentages come with wagering, and Silver Oak's terms list 40x on slots and 60x on table games and video poker for its welcome package, so expect similar rollovers on VIP matches unless told otherwise. See the Silver Oak VIP program page for more.

Planet 7, Royal Ace, Slot Madness and Decode VIP bonuses

The other partners don't have VIP details we could confirm from their own sites, so everything here is third-party and should be checked in the cashier.

  • Planet 7: a third-party review (opens in a new tab) reports comp points at 100 = $1, a 1,000-point minimum redemption with a $0 balance, and 30x wagering on redeemed comps (60x on video poker and tables). It also lists VIP codes such as PLANET300, VIPFAVORITE and SHADOW350; codes change often. Complaints mention a "Jupiter VIP" tier. See the Planet 7 VIP program page.
  • Royal Ace: reviewers say a loyalty program exists without giving details; one complaint mentions a level 5 VIP with faster payouts. See the Royal Ace VIP page.
  • Slot Madness: a loyalty program is reported, with no published tiers. See the Slot Madness VIP page.
  • Decode: reviewers describe weekly missions that award cash, spins and comp points, with no tiers found. See the Decode VIP page.

What a VIP bonus is worth in dollars

VIP perks look generous until you set them against the house edge. Assume $10,000 of slot bets in a month on Sweet 16, which third-party listings show at 96.25% RTP. The expected loss is $10,000 × 3.75% = $375.

SlotoCash VIP rebates on $10,000 of slot bets (expected loss $375)
TierComp points earnedComp valueMonthly cashback on a $375 net lossTotal rebate
Gold1,333$13.33$18.75 (5%)$32.08
Platinum2,000$20.00$37.50 (10%)$57.50
Diamond2,500$25.00$56.25 (15%)$81.25

Even at Diamond, the rebate covers about a fifth of the expected loss. The cashback figure assumes you lost exactly the average; any wagering on cashback or comps would lower the value further. VIP status softens the house edge a little; it never flips it.

Reload matches are trickier. A 150% daily match on $100 adds $150 of bonus funds, but at a 30x deposit-plus-bonus rollover, SlotoCash's general default, you would need $7,500 of bets, with an expected cost of about $281 at 3.75%. Check the actual rollover on each VIP match. The bonus wagering requirements page shows the formula.

VIP withdrawal limits and faster payouts

For many regular players, the most useful VIP perk is a higher cash-out ceiling. Standard caps at our partners run from $2,500 to $5,000 a week. SlotoCash says VIPs can go up to $30,000; Silver Oak raises its weekly cap by VIP level and gives Platinum members and above priority payments.

Get any promised limit in writing, ideally in the terms or by email, before you rely on it. Third-party reviewers report slow payouts at several offshore brands regardless of status. See casino withdrawal limits and withdrawal times.

VIP cashback with wagering: a Silver Oak example in dollars

Cashback sounds like money back, but when it's paid as bonus credit with a rollover, clearing it can cost more than it pays. Silver Oak's promotions page lists cash back on deposits over $1,000 made without a bonus: 30% from $1,001 to $5,000, 40% from $5,001 to $10,000 and 50% above that, at 30x, credited on Mondays at 00:01 EST.

Silver Oak deposit cashback if 30x applies to the cashback amount (4% house edge)
DepositCashback rateCashback creditWagering at 30xExpected cost of clearing
$2,00030%$600$18,000$720
$6,00040%$2,400$72,000$2,880
$12,00050%$6,000$180,000$7,200

At 30x and a 4% edge, clearing the credit costs 120% of its face value, so on average the cashback disappears into the wagering. That doesn't make it worthless: it extends play, and a lucky run can still leave something. But it means VIP cashback with a rollover is a playing-time perk, not a refund. The summary doesn't say whether the 30x applies to the cashback alone or more, so ask. Compare it with true cash rebates on our cashback bonus page and the best cashback casinos list.

What to do if a promised VIP bonus or payout perk doesn't arrive

VIP perks at offshore casinos are discretionary, and third-party reviewers report disputes over tiers, cashback and payout speed. These steps protect your position.

  1. Find where the perk is written: the VIP page, the terms or an email from your host. Screenshot it with the date.
  2. Ask support in live chat which term applies, and save the transcript.
  3. For a promised higher withdrawal limit, get the exact figure and period in writing before you request a large payout.
  4. Raise disputes inside the casino's window; SlotoCash's terms give 14 days, and Silver Oak's give 3 days from the wager.
  5. If it stays unresolved, use the routes in how to file a casino complaint. No US state regulator handles these casinos.
  6. Don't deposit again to release a perk you were already promised.

Our guide to casino withdrawal delays covers what to check when a VIP payout stalls.

How to judge a VIP bonus offer before accepting

  1. Ask whether the reward is cash or bonus credit, and what the wagering is.
  2. Check the max bet and eligible games; most VIP matches are slot-only.
  3. Work out the total bets needed and multiply by the house edge to get the expected cost.
  4. Compare that cost with the bonus amount; if the cost is higher, the offer is entertainment, not value.
  5. Confirm withdrawal caps and timing for your tier in writing.
  6. Decline any offer that requires a deposit larger than your planned budget.

VIP programs and gambling harm

Loyalty schemes reward volume, which is why they deserve care. Warning signs include depositing to keep a tier, accepting host offers after a big loss, or feeling that cashback means losses "don't count". None of the casinos here is regulated by a US state, so no state rule limits how they market to VIPs.

If any of this sounds familiar, the National Problem Gambling Helpline is free and confidential at 1-800-MY-RESET (1-800-697-3738), with call, text and chat through NCPG (opens in a new tab). Our pages on deposit limits and chasing losses can help.

Frequently asked questions

How do I become a VIP at an online casino?

It depends on the casino: some promote you automatically by points or deposits, others invite you. SlotoCash says its VIP club is by management invitation for active, verified players and publishes no thresholds, while Silver Oak lists a figure for each of its five tiers, starting with a $500 instant upgrade to Silver. Read our casino loyalty programs guide for how the models differ.

Are casino VIP bonuses worth it?

They return a small share of what you lose, so they help only if you would play that much anyway. On $10,000 of slot bets with a $375 expected loss, SlotoCash's Diamond comps and 15% cashback return about $81. That softens the loss but doesn't erase it. Never chase a tier with extra deposits. The comp points guide runs similar examples.

What is the difference between a VIP bonus and a reload bonus?

A reload bonus is open to any existing player, while a VIP bonus is reserved for players in a loyalty tier. VIP reloads tend to carry bigger percentages, such as SlotoCash's 110% to 150% daily matches or Silver Oak's listed 250% to 325% deposit bonuses. Both come with wagering. See our reload bonus page for the general rules.

Do casino VIP bonus tiers come with faster withdrawals?

Some casinos promise it, though the details are rarely written down in full. SlotoCash lists expedited withdrawals for Platinum and Diamond and says VIPs can withdraw up to $30,000, without stating the period. Silver Oak lists priority payments from Platinum up. Third-party reviewers still report slow payouts at several offshore brands. See pending withdrawals for what affects timing.

How much are casino comp points worth?

At SlotoCash and Silver Oak, 100 comp points are worth $1 in bonus credit. SlotoCash's earn rates mean $750 of bets earns $1 at Gold and $400 of bets earns $1 at Diamond, roughly 0.13% to 0.25% back. Redeemed comps may carry wagering; a third-party review reports 30x at Planet 7. Our comp point explainer has more examples.

Can a casino take away my VIP status?

Yes, offshore casinos set VIP terms at their discretion, and invitation-only clubs can review membership. Since no US state regulates these casinos, there is no state rule on how tiers are kept or lost. Save screenshots of any promised perk and ask support to confirm changes in writing. See how to read casino terms for clauses to look for.

Is VIP cashback paid as cash?

Not always; many casinos pay cashback as bonus credit with its own wagering. The SlotoCash VIP page lists monthly cashback on net losses of 5%, 10% or 15% by tier, and Silver Oak lists 4% to 35%, but the summaries don't say whether that credit carries a rollover. Ask before you count on it, and see our cashback guide.

Does VIP status change the odds of the games?

No, VIP status doesn't change the house edge or the RTP of any game. Slots, blackjack and video poker pay the same for a Diamond member as for a new player, and the house edge still makes losses likely over time. VIP perks only return part of what you spend. Our house edge explainer shows why.

What does SlotoCash's 'no max bet rule' VIP perk mean?

It means Platinum and Diamond members aren't held to the usual bet cap while a bonus is active, according to SlotoCash's VIP club page. For other players, the welcome terms cap bets at $10 a spin with bonus funds in play. Lifting the cap doesn't improve the odds: bigger spins clear wagering faster but lose money faster at the same house edge. A $25 spin on a 96% slot costs $1 on average. Our SlotoCash VIP program page and the high roller guide cover large-stake play.

Do I need to verify my identity to get VIP status?

At SlotoCash, yes: its VIP page says invitations go to active players who have submitted their security documents. Those are a photo ID and a recent utility bill, and the terms let the casino ask for proof of funds or payment methods too. Silver Oak blocks every withdrawal until its checks are done, including a selfie with ID and card images from the last three months. Verifying early also avoids payout delays later. See how to verify your casino account and KYC documents.

Does Miami Club Casino have a VIP program?

Yes, Miami Club's VIP page lists six tiers, from Flamingo, which starts automatically after a $20 purchase, through Downtown at 25,000 points up to Millionaire's Row at 1,000,000 points. Rewards points convert to bonus credit, but the perks for each tier aren't itemized. Miami Club is a live partner running Wager Gaming (WGS) software. Its Terms of Use (v2.1, September 28, 2026, section 1.6) list the United States as prohibited, while its affiliate program confirms US players are accepted, so confirm at sign-up. See the Miami Club VIP program.

What is Silver Oak's Bitcoin VIP bonus?

Silver Oak's VIP page lists Bitcoin deposit bonuses of 325% to 400% across its tiers, higher than the 250% to 325% it lists for other deposits. Its cashier accepts Bitcoin, Litecoin and Ethereum from $30 up to $100,000 with no fee, so crypto suits larger VIP deposits. The rollover on those VIP matches isn't stated in the summary, so ask before claiming. Bitcoin withdrawals run from $50 to $2,500 with up to a $40 fee. See crypto casino bonuses and Silver Oak Bitcoin banking.

Are casino VIP rewards and winnings taxable?

Gambling winnings are taxable federal income, including money won while playing with VIP bonuses or cashback credit. For payments in 2026, the W-2G threshold for slots and keno is $2,000, but smaller wins are still income, and an offshore casino may send no form at all. Losses are deductible only up to your gains, and from tax year 2026 the deduction is reported to be capped at 90% of losses, so check IRS guidance. How rebates themselves are treated is a question for a tax professional. Read gambling taxes and big win taxes.

Can players in Michigan join an offshore casino VIP program?

Michigan licenses its own online casinos under the Lawful Internet Gaming Act, and its Gaming Control Board treats unlicensed offshore sites as illegal. The board named Silver Oak and Planet 7 on April 9, 2025 and SlotoCash on October 8, 2026 in cease-and-desist letters. Michigan players have 15 authorized online casino platform providers, regulated by the MGCB, and must be 21 to hold an account. That's why we don't promote offshore offers to Michigan readers. See Michigan gambling laws and the cease-and-desist letters page.

What should I do if a VIP host keeps offering bonuses after I lose?

Say no, and ask the casino to stop sending offers or to close or limit the account. SlotoCash takes deposit and time limits on request and self-excludes for at least six months by email to support; Silver Oak's terms say self-exclusion through live chat is processed immediately. Install blocking software such as Gamban or BetBlocker so a late-night offer is harder to act on. Free, confidential help is at 1-800-MY-RESET (1-800-697-3738). See self-exclusion at offshore casinos and signs of a gambling problem.
