Casino loyalty programs reward you for the money you wager, usually with comp points, tiered VIP levels, cashback and occasional perks such as faster withdrawals. At US-facing offshore casinos the published rewards are small next to the house edge, and most arrive as bonus money with wagering attached.

What casino loyalty programs are and how they pay
Casino loyalty programs track how much you bet and hand back a slice of it as rewards. Online, the slice comes in a few standard forms, and most programs mix several of them. Our glossary entry on the VIP program gives the short definition.
The building blocks of casino loyalty programs
Reward
How it works
Typical catch
Comp points
Earned per dollar wagered, exchanged for bonus credit
Redeemed credit often carries wagering
Tiers
Levels reached by points, deposits or invitation
Thresholds are not always published
Cashback
A percentage of net losses returned weekly or monthly
A personal contact, birthday chips, appreciation chips
Discretionary and can change
Whatever the mix, the money comes out of the house edge. A loyalty program returns part of your expected loss, so it makes play slightly cheaper, but it can't turn a negative-expectation game into a positive one.
How VIP tiers work at US-facing online casinos
There is no standard tier ladder. Our partners use three different entry methods, which matters because it decides whether you can see the target before you start.
Invitation only
SlotoCash's VIP Club page (opens in a new tab) says membership is by management invitation for active players who have submitted security documents, with no published thresholds. Its three tiers are Gold, Platinum and Diamond.
Points thresholds
Miami Club's loyalty page (opens in a new tab) lists six levels: Flamingo (automatic after a $20 purchase), then Downtown at 25,000 points, Bay Front at 100,000, South Beach at 250,000, Ocean Drive at 500,000 and Millionaire's Row at 1,000,000. Benefits aren't itemized per tier; the page says points can be redeemed for bonus credits.
Deposit thresholds
Silver Oak's VIP program page (opens in a new tab) lists five tiers with instant-upgrade amounts: Silver ($500), Gold ($1k), Platinum ($3k), Diamond ($5k) and Elite ($8k). It is the clearest published ladder among our partners.
The table below sets out what each partner's loyalty scheme includes, and where the information comes from. Third-party details are reports, not settled facts.

What loyalty rewards are worth in dollars
Converting perks to dollars is the only honest way to compare casino loyalty programs. Here is the arithmetic for SlotoCash, the partner that publishes earn rates per tier.
SlotoCash comp value per $1,000 wagered (100 points = $1)
Tier
Earn rate
Points per $1,000
Comp value
Rebate
Gold
1 point per $7.50
133
$1.33
0.13%
Platinum
1 point per $5
200
$2.00
0.20%
Diamond
1 point per $4
250
$2.50
0.25%
Now compare that with the cost of play. On a slot with a 96.25% RTP (the figure third-party sites report for RTG's Sweet 16), the house edge is 3.75%, so $1,000 wagered has an expected loss of $37.50. A Diamond player's $2.50 in comps covers under 7% of that.
Cashback is where the real value sits
Monthly cashback on net losses is larger. At SlotoCash's published 10% Platinum rate, a month with $500 in net losses returns $50; the VIP page doesn't state the wagering on that cashback, so check before counting on it. Silver Oak's VIP page lists monthly cashback from 4% to 35% depending on tier, and its separate cashback promotion carries 30x wagering. Our cashback bonus page shows how playthrough changes the value.
VIP withdrawal limits and faster payouts
For bigger players, the most useful loyalty perk is often a higher withdrawal limit. Standard weekly caps at our partners are low: $5,000 a week at SlotoCash, from $2,500 a week at Silver Oak, and $2,500 a week reported for Planet 7.
SlotoCash's banking page says VIP players can reach up to $30,000, without stating the period, and its Platinum and Diamond tiers list expedited withdrawals. Silver Oak's VIP page promises higher withdrawal limits and priority payments from Platinum up, but no specific figures or times. Treat these as the casino's description, not a measured result.
Third-party reviewers report slow payouts at several of these casinos. A VIP label doesn't change the fact that no US state regulator oversees payment times. Our guide to casino withdrawal delays explains what you can do.
The catches in casino loyalty programs
Loyalty perks look generous on a VIP page. The terms behind them are where the value shrinks.
Wagering on rewards. Planet 7 comps are reported to carry 30x wagering on slots and 60x on video poker and table games once redeemed.
Redemption minimums. Planet 7 reportedly needs 1,000 points ($10) and a $0 balance before you can redeem.
Discretion. Invitation-only tiers and appreciation chips can be changed or withdrawn by the casino.
Bonus rules still apply. Max bet limits, excluded games and max cashout rules can affect reward money. SlotoCash lists 'no max bet rule' as a Platinum and Diamond perk, which shows the rule applies to everyone else.
Our bonus terms red flags page lists more clauses worth checking before you rely on a reward.
How to judge a casino loyalty program in five steps
Find the published earn rate and conversion rate, then work out the rebate as a percentage of what you wager.
Check whether redeemed points, cashback and VIP bonuses carry wagering, and how much.
Look for expiry dates on points and minimum redemption amounts.
Read the withdrawal cap at your likely tier, because a reward you can't withdraw has little value.
Compare the total with your planned monthly budget, not with the casino's top tier.
Tier ladders, daily matches and cashback are designed to keep you depositing. That is fine if you play within a fixed budget, but chasing the next level is a classic way to spend more than you meant to. Gambling is entertainment that costs money, and the house edge means losses are likely over time.
Set a deposit limit before you look at VIP perks. Silver Oak lists deposit limits, cool-off periods and self-exclusion, while SlotoCash and Miami Club say limits are available on request. Third-party reviews list no responsible gambling tools at Planet 7, so blocking software such as Gamban is a useful backup.
Loyalty programs at offshore vs state-licensed casinos
Real-money online casinos are state-licensed only in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Michigan, West Virginia, Delaware, Connecticut and Rhode Island. In those states the regulator oversees the operator, including how promotions are run. Our list of states with legal online casinos covers each one.
Our partners are offshore casinos, not licensed or regulated by any US state. Their loyalty terms are whatever the casino publishes, and there is no state body to complain to if a reward is withdrawn. Read offshore vs state-licensed casinos for a side-by-side view.

Silver Oak has the most detailed published VIP ladder among our partners. See the Silver Oak VIP program page.
Planet 7: $2,750 Welcome Bonus + 45 Free Spins, via our link (new players, 21+ or 18+ where allowed, terms apply). Frequently asked questions
How do casino loyalty programs work?
They track your wagering and give back a small share as rewards. Most combine comp points, tier levels, cashback and reload bonuses, and the top tiers add perks such as higher withdrawal limits or a personal host. The rewards come out of the house edge, so they reduce the cost of play without making it profitable. Our VIP bonus page shows how tier bonuses are structured.
Are online casino VIP programs worth it?
They are worth having if you already play within a budget, but rarely worth chasing. Published comp rates at our partners are around 0.13% to 0.25% of what you wager, far below a typical slot house edge of a few percent. Cashback on net losses is usually the most valuable perk. Compare programs with our best loyalty casinos page, keeping in mind that ranking is commercial.
How do you become a VIP at SlotoCash, Miami Club or Silver Oak?
It depends on the casino. SlotoCash says VIP status is by invitation for active, verified players, Miami Club uses points thresholds from 25,000 to 1,000,000, and Silver Oak lists deposit-based instant upgrades from $500 to $8,000. Never deposit extra just to qualify. Our SlotoCash VIP program page has the full published details for one example.
What is the difference between comp points and VIP tiers?
Comp points are the currency you earn by wagering, while tiers are the levels that decide how fast you earn and what extras you get. At SlotoCash, for example, Gold earns 1 point per $7.50 and Diamond 1 point per $4, with 100 points worth $1 either way. Read the comp points guide for the conversion math, or the glossary entry on comp points.
Do loyalty rewards have wagering requirements?
Often, yes. Third-party reviews report that Planet 7's redeemed comps carry 30x wagering on slots and 60x on video poker and table games, and Silver Oak's cashback promotion lists 30x. SlotoCash's VIP page doesn't state wagering on its cashback, so ask before relying on it. Our guide to wagering requirements explained shows how playthrough cuts a reward's value.
Do SlotoCash and Silver Oak VIPs get faster withdrawals?
Both say so, but neither gives specific times. SlotoCash lists expedited withdrawals at Platinum and Diamond and a VIP cap of up to $30,000, and Silver Oak promises priority payments from Platinum up. These are the casinos' own descriptions, and third-party reviewers still report slow payouts at several offshore sites. See casino withdrawal times for what to expect.
Which partner has the clearest loyalty program?
Silver Oak publishes the clearest ladder, with five named tiers, upgrade amounts and listed cashback ranges, and SlotoCash publishes earn rates per tier. Decode, Planet 7, Royal Ace and Slot Madness have little or nothing published on their own sites, so the details come from third-party reviews. Read the Silver Oak review for its full terms and the regulator action against it.
Can a loyalty program help me win money?
No. Loyalty rewards return a small part of what you are expected to lose, so they make play slightly cheaper, but the house edge still means losses are likely over time. Treat any reward as a discount on entertainment, not income. If you find yourself playing to reach a tier, our chasing losses guide and the 1-800-MY-RESET helpline can help.
How many points do you need for Miami Club’s Millionaire’s Row tier?
Miami Club’s loyalty page sets Millionaire’s Row, its top level, at 1,000,000 points. The ladder starts at Flamingo, automatic after a $20 purchase, then Downtown at 25,000 points, Bay Front at 100,000, South Beach at 250,000 and Ocean Drive at 500,000. Per-tier perks aren’t itemized; the page says points can be redeemed for bonus credits. Its Terms of Use v2.1 (section 1.6) list the US as prohibited, while the site owner’s affiliate program accepts US players, so confirm eligibility at sign-up. See the Miami Club VIP program page and the VIP program glossary entry.
How much cashback do SlotoCash VIP tiers pay?
SlotoCash’s VIP Club page lists monthly cashback on net losses of 5% at Gold, 10% at Platinum and 15% at Diamond. On a month with $500 in net losses, that’s $25, $50 or $75 back, though the page doesn’t state whether the cashback carries wagering, so ask before counting on it. The top tiers also list daily matches of 125% or 150% plus 50 spins and no max bet rule. Membership is by invitation for active, verified players. See the SlotoCash VIP program page and our cashback glossary entry.
How long do Silver Oak comp points last before they expire?
Twelve months: Silver Oak’s promotions page says comp points expire after 12 months, and they convert at 100 points to $1. That makes redemption timing part of the program’s real value: points left unused for a year are worth nothing. Silver Oak’s VIP ladder runs from Silver at $500 to Elite at $8,000 in instant-upgrade deposits, with appreciation chips of $100 to $700 and monthly cashback of 4% to 35% by tier. Redeem points before a break, and remember redeemed credit may carry wagering. See the Silver Oak VIP program page and our comp points bonus page.
What is the minimum to redeem Planet 7 comp points?
Third-party reviews report that Planet 7 needs a minimum of 1,000 comp points, worth $10, and a $0 balance before you can redeem. Points convert at 100 to $1, and redeemed comps are reported to carry 30x wagering on slots, keno, scratch cards and bingo, or 60x on video poker and table games. Planet 7’s own terms couldn’t be checked, so confirm with support. Reviewers don’t name its tiers. See the Planet 7 VIP program page and our guide to wagering requirements explained.
Is Decode Casino’s weekly missions scheme a VIP program?
It’s Decode’s loyalty scheme, but third-party reviews describe it as weekly missions tied to deposits rather than a fixed tier ladder like Silver Oak’s or Miami Club’s. Reviewers say missions reward free cash, spins and comp points, and they also report 25% cashback and seasonal codes. Decode’s own site doesn’t display these terms, so the earn rates, wagering and expiry aren’t published. Ask support in writing before relying on any reward. See the Decode VIP program page and our casino tournaments guide for a similar time-limited format.
