Best bonus for blackjack

The best bonus for blackjack is one whose terms let blackjack count at all, ideally at full weight and with a wagering multiplier you can realistically finish. Most offshore welcome offers are built for slots, so blackjack is often excluded, weighted at a few percent or set at 60x. Silver Oak publishes blackjack terms on its own site; other partners' blackjack rules come only from third-party reviews.

Key takeaways

  • Many casino bonuses exclude blackjack or count it at a small percentage, so read the game rules first.
  • Silver Oak's own pages set 60x for blackjack; third-party reviews report 60x at Royal Ace and an all-games code at Slot Madness.
  • Basic strategy lowers the house edge; card counting does not work on RNG blackjack, which reshuffles every hand.
  • Partner casinos are offshore and not licensed by any US state. 21+ (18+ where allowed), terms apply.

Best bonus for blackjack: the short answer

Blackjack has one of the lowest house edges in the casino, which is exactly why casinos limit bonus play on it. A bonus that counts blackjack at full weight on low wagering would cost the casino money, so most offers either exclude the game, weight it at a small percentage or raise the multiplier.

That makes the best bonus for blackjack a narrow category within our casino bonuses hub. Among our partners, Silver Oak is the only one whose own published terms set a blackjack rate (60x). Third-party reviews report 60x on blackjack at Royal Ace and an all-games code at Slot Madness. For many blackjack players, playing with no bonus is the better deal; our bonus vs no bonus page explains why.

Why blackjack bonuses are hard to find

A bonus is roughly worth the bonus amount minus the expected cost of the required wagering. On a slot with a 3.75% edge, that cost is high, so the casino keeps most of the bonus back. On blackjack with an edge around half a percent, the cost of the same wagering is much lower.

So when you search for the best bonus for blackjack, expect restrictions. Casinos respond in three ways, all visible in our partners' terms. They exclude table games completely, as SlotoCash's general terms do by default. They weight blackjack at a fraction, as Miami Club's bonus terms (opens in a new tab) do at 5%. Or they double the multiplier, as Silver Oak does with 60x for blackjack and video poker. Our game weighting guide shows how each method works.

Third-party figures may be out of date, and Silver Oak's offer page and general terms disagree on the slot rate (30x vs 40x), though both say 60x for blackjack. Check each casino's current terms before depositing.

Blackjack bonus math: wagering × weighting × house edge

The worked examples below use a $100 deposit and a house edge of 0.49%, taken from the 99.51% RTP third-party listings give for RTG's Suit 'Em Up Blackjack. That RTP assumes perfect basic strategy; mistakes raise the real edge. Where the casino does not say whether wagering applies to bonus only or deposit + bonus, we assume deposit + bonus.

Expected cost of clearing a $100 deposit bonus on blackjack
TermsBonusBlackjack you must betExpected cost at 0.49%
100% match, 60x (Silver Oak rate)$100$200 × 60 = $12,000$58.80
200% match, 60x b+d (Royal Ace, reported)$200$300 × 60 = $18,000$88.20
125% match, 40x (Slot Madness MAD125, reported)$125$225 × 40 = $9,000$44.10
100% match, 20x at 5% weighting (Miami Club)$100$4,000 ÷ 5% = $80,000$392

On paper, the first three rows show an expected cost below the bonus amount, and the Miami Club row shows how 5% weighting makes blackjack clearing far more expensive than the bonus is worth. The paper figures leave out three things that matter. Variance over $12,000 or more of hands is large, so many sessions end at zero first. The max cashout rule can cap any upside: Royal Ace's is reported at 10x the deposit. And a single breach of a bet or game rule can void winnings.

At $10 a hand, $12,000 of wagering is 1,200 hands. That is many hours of play, and the expected cost grows with every extra hand you play beyond the requirement. A bonus is a way to get more play for your budget, not a source of income.

Blackjack game weighting: 5% versus 60x

Weighting and multipliers look different but do the same job. A 5% weighting means each $100 blackjack bet counts as $5 toward wagering, so a 20x requirement behaves like a 400x requirement for blackjack. A 60x multiplier keeps every dollar counting but doubles the target compared with a 30x slot rate.

To find the best bonus for blackjack, compare them by converting to total blackjack bets. On a $200 deposit + bonus balance, Miami Club's 20x at 5% means $80,000 of blackjack, while Silver Oak's 60x means $12,000. Our bonus game weighting page lists more conversions.

Blackjack with a bonus vs without: a $100 example

Here is the same $100 deposit played two ways, using the 0.49% edge from the Suit 'Em Up Blackjack listing and $10 hands. The bonus row uses Silver Oak's published 60x blackjack rate on a 100% match.

$100 deposit on blackjack: with a 100% match at 60x vs no bonus
ItemWith bonus (60x)No bonus
Starting balance$200$100
Blackjack you must bet before withdrawing$12,000 (1,200 hands at $10)None

Can you withdraw mid-session?No, not until wagering is doneYes, after playing the deposit through once
Bet limits from bonus rulesYesNo
Max cashout riskPossible (check terms)None

On paper the bonus leaves an expected $41.20 after the cost of wagering, but only if you play all 1,200 hands, stick to allowed tables and never break a rule. The no-bonus route keeps your money liquid and your stake free. Silver Oak's terms charge 8% (minimum $4) if you withdraw a deposit that hasn't been wagered once, so play it through before cashing out either way. Our bonus vs no bonus checklist and the online blackjack guide help you decide which suits your play.

Which blackjack games count toward a bonus

Even where blackjack counts, not every variant does. Silver Oak's terms exclude Pontoon 21 by name while setting 60x for blackjack. Royal Ace is reported to set 60x for both blackjack and classic blackjack. Side bets and specialty versions may follow other rules, so check the list before choosing a table.

RTG offers several variants with different rules. Third-party listings give Super 21 a 99.6% RTP and Blackjack + Perfect Pairs a range of 95.9%–99.59% depending on whether you play the side bet. Side bets usually carry a much higher edge, which raises the expected cost of clearing. Our online blackjack guide covers the standard game.

Basic strategy, card counting and blackjack bonuses

Basic strategy is the mathematically best play for each hand and reduces the house edge to the levels shown above. It does not remove the edge, and it does not make a bonus profitable. Learn it from our blackjack basic strategy guide.

Card counting is a historical land-casino technique that relies on tracking cards through a shoe. Online RNG blackjack reshuffles every hand, so counting has nothing to track. Betting systems such as Martingale do not change the edge either and run into bet caps and table limits quickly.

Cashback and no-bonus play for blackjack players

Because most welcome offers favor slots, the best bonus for blackjack is sometimes not a welcome bonus at all, and cashback can suit blackjack players better. Silver Oak's cash back page (opens in a new tab) pays 30%–50% on deposits over $1,000 made without a bonus, though that cashback carries 30x wagering. Our cashback bonus guide and table games bonus page compare the options.

Playing with no bonus has clear benefits at the blackjack table: no bet cap, no excluded variants, and you can withdraw whenever you choose. Silver Oak's terms do charge 8% (minimum $4) on withdrawals of deposits not wagered once, so play your deposit through at least once.

How to check a blackjack bonus before you claim it

  1. Open the casino's bonus terms and search for blackjack, table games and weighting.
  2. Note whether blackjack is excluded, weighted at a percentage or given a separate multiplier.
  3. Check which variants are excluded, such as Pontoon 21 at Silver Oak.
  4. Convert the requirement into total blackjack bets using your deposit and bonus amounts.
  5. Check the max cashout and max bet, and confirm the expiry if one is published.
  6. Ask live chat to confirm in writing that blackjack counts on the specific offer before you deposit, and save the reply.

Our how to read casino terms guide explains where these clauses usually sit.

Real money blackjack bonuses and US law

Frequently asked questions

Do casino welcome bonuses work for blackjack players?

Sometimes, but often on worse terms than slots. Silver Oak's published terms set 60x for blackjack, Miami Club counts it at 5%, and SlotoCash excludes table games by default. Always check the specific offer, because playing an excluded game can void bonus winnings. Our what games count toward wagering answer explains the usual patterns. If blackjack is excluded, playing with no bonus is the simplest option.

Why do casinos weight blackjack so low?

Because blackjack's house edge is small when played with basic strategy, so full-weight bonus play would cost the casino more than slot play. Casinos protect themselves by excluding it, counting it at a few percent or raising the multiplier to around 60x. The house edge explained guide shows how edge drives these decisions. The result is that most offers favor slot players.

Which partner casino has the best bonus for blackjack?

On published terms, Silver Oak, because its own pages set a clear 60x rate for blackjack rather than excluding it. Royal Ace and Slot Madness are reported by third parties to allow blackjack at 60x and 40x respectively, but their own terms could not be read. Check current terms at sign-up. Our Silver Oak table games page has more detail on its lobby.

How much blackjack do I need to play to clear a bonus?

Multiply your deposit + bonus by the multiplier, then divide by the weighting. A $100 deposit with a $100 bonus at 60x needs $12,000 of blackjack. At 20x with 5% weighting, the same balance needs $80,000. At $10 a hand, $12,000 is 1,200 hands. Our wagering requirements guide has a step-by-step method.

Does basic strategy help clear a blackjack bonus?

It lowers the house edge, which lowers the expected cost of each hand, but it does not remove the edge or make the bonus profitable. RTP figures for blackjack assume perfect basic strategy, so mistakes push the cost up. Use a strategy chart for your variant's rules. Our blackjack basic strategy guide explains the main decisions.

Can I count cards to clear a bonus online?

No. Online RNG blackjack reshuffles every hand, so there is no shoe to track and counting gives no information. Card counting is a land-casino technique with a long history, but it does not apply to software games. Our card counting online guide explains why. Betting systems like Martingale also fail to change the edge.

Are blackjack side bets allowed with a bonus?

It depends on the terms, and side bets usually raise the cost. Third-party listings give Blackjack + Perfect Pairs a range of 95.9%–99.59% RTP depending on whether the side bet is played, so side bets add a much higher edge. Some casinos also exclude specialty variants, like Pontoon 21 at Silver Oak. Check the game list in the bonus game weighting rules before betting.

Is cashback better than a match bonus for blackjack?

Often, yes. Cashback is paid after play, so it does not lock your deposit or restrict games in advance. Silver Oak publishes 30%–50% cashback on no-bonus deposits over $1,000, though the cashback carries 30x wagering. Compare the wagering and game rules on both. Our cashback bonus guide explains the main types.

Is online blackjack with a bonus legal in Pennsylvania?

Yes, but only at casinos the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board licenses, and our partners are not among them. As of February 13, 2026, Pennsylvania had 12 online casino certificateholders running 25 authorized brands, and their blackjack bonuses come with state oversight and a regulator to complain to. The offshore partners on this page hold no Pennsylvania license, so their bonus terms are enforced only by the casino itself. Pennsylvania players have a state-licensed route that most Americans don't. See online casinos in Pennsylvania and the list of states with legal online casinos.

Does Miami Club have a good bonus for blackjack?

Not for blackjack, because Miami Club's bonus terms count blackjack at just 5% toward wagering. Its welcome package is 100% up to $100 on each of eight purchases at 20x deposit plus bonus, so a $200 balance would need $80,000 of blackjack to clear. Video poker counts 10% and roulette is forbidden with an active bonus. Miami Club is a live partner, but its Terms of Use v2.1, section 1.6, list the United States as prohibited while its affiliate program confirms US players are accepted, so confirm at sign-up. See the Miami Club welcome bonus and Miami Club table games pages.

What is Silver Oak's blackjack bonus?

Silver Oak lists a dedicated blackjack bonus among its promotions, but the match, wagering and limits for it aren't published in the sources we use. What is published is how blackjack counts on the main welcome package: a 60x playthrough on blackjack and video poker, with Pontoon 21 excluded. Ask live chat for the blackjack bonus's code, rollover and max cashout, and compare them with that 60x rate before choosing. Silver Oak names Primrose Media Limited and an Anjouan license on its site. See Silver Oak bonus codes and the Silver Oak welcome bonus page.

What happens if I play blackjack with a slots-only bonus?

You risk losing the bonus and everything won with it. SlotoCash's welcome terms say play on games outside slots, keno and scratch cards voids promotion winnings, and Silver Oak's terms exclude a list of table games from bonus play. Miami Club forbids roulette outright while a bonus is active. A winning blackjack session played on the wrong terms can be wiped out entirely. If you want to play blackjack, finish or cancel the bonus first. Read why was my bonus removed and our bonus terms red flags.

What is the max bet on blackjack with a casino bonus?

It varies, and at Miami Club its bonus terms set a $10 maximum on any single wager while a bonus is active. SlotoCash's $10 limit is written per spin for its slot-only welcome bonus. Silver Oak's max bet rule isn't stated in the sources we use, so ask support. At a 60x rollover on a $200 balance, $10 hands would take 1,200 hands to reach $12,000, so a lower stake mostly adds time. Breaking the cap even once can void winnings. See our bet max glossary entry and the blackjack bankroll guide.

Do video poker and blackjack count the same toward a bonus?

Often they share the same restricted rate, but not always. Silver Oak sets 60x for both blackjack and video poker, and Royal Ace is reported to do the same. Miami Club counts video poker at 10% and blackjack at 5%, so video poker clears twice as fast there. SlotoCash excludes video poker from bonuses by default. Third-party listings give RTG's Jacks or Better a 99.54% RTP with perfect play, close to blackjack's low edge. Our video poker bonus page and Jacks or Better guide compare the details.

Can I play blackjack bonuses on my phone?

Yes, the partner casinos run their blackjack tables in a mobile browser, and bonus rules are the same as on desktop. Silver Oak's mobile page describes browser play on iPhone, Android and tablets,. On a small screen it is easier to tap the wrong variant or a side bet, which can break a bonus rule, so double-check the table name before you play. Basic strategy charts work just as well on a phone. See the Silver Oak mobile casino page and our best mobile casinos list.
