Is Decode Casino legit?

Is Decode Casino legit? It is a working offshore casino that launched in 2024, but its site names no owner and no license, and most of its detailed terms are known only through third-party reviewers. It isn’t licensed by any US state, and player reviews are mixed, so treat it as higher-uncertainty than older brands.

Key takeaways

  • Decode launched in 2024 (third parties say March or June) and has a shorter track record than most partners.
  • Its footer names no company or license; reviewers cite Curaçao without a license number.
  • Decode is not named in the Michigan regulator releases that name five of our other partners.
  • Reported withdrawal caps conflict: $2,500 a week in one listing, $5,000 in other reviews.
  • Third parties report Decode refuses players from Maryland, New Jersey, New York and Washington.

Is Decode Casino legit or a risk? A quick verdict

Decode is a real casino that takes deposits and runs games, so it isn’t a fake site. The case for caution is transparency. Its own pages carry only a copyright line for Decode Casino, with no company, no license and no registration details, and it has been running only since 2024.

That combination puts more weight on third-party reports than with older brands, and those reports disagree on several numbers. Our full Decode Casino review covers games and banking in depth, and our online casino questions hub answers related queries.

Who owns Decode Casino?

No one is named. The footer on Decode’s website (opens in a new tab) reads only Copyright 2026 Decode Casino, and two third-party reviewers report that they could not identify the owner either. That makes Decode the least transparent of our partners on ownership.

By comparison, Silver Oak names its operator and license in its terms, and SlotoCash and Miami Club are widely reported as Deckmedia N.V. brands. See who owns Decode Casino for any updates on the question.

Decode Casino license: what reviewers report

Decode doesn’t display a license. The VegasSlotsOnline review of Decode (opens in a new tab) names the Curaçao Gaming Control Board but gives no number. LCB lists Curaçao in its summary, while the body of its review says no licensing information was found.

Curaçao changed its rules in late 2024. The Curaçao Gaming Authority (opens in a new tab) says the National Ordinance on Games of Chance took effect on December 24, 2024 and replaced sublicenses with direct licenses, and that it publishes a license register. A Curaçao license would still not be a US license. Our Curaçao license guide explains how to check one.

Has any US regulator acted against Decode?

Decode does not appear in the Michigan Gaming Control Board releases that name our other partners: Silver Oak and Planet 7 (April 9, 2025), Miami Club and Slot Madness (August 14, 2025) and SlotoCash (October 8, 2026). It also wasn’t found in several other Michigan releases from 2024 to 2026.

That is not a clean bill of health. Michigan treats every unlicensed online casino as illegal, whether or not it has sent a letter yet, and its October 8, 2026 release (opens in a new tab) alone covered 33 operators. Our cease-and-desist letters page tracks how these actions work.

Does Decode Casino pay out? Reported limits and times

Limits on Decode’s banking page aren’t quoted consistently by reviewers, so these figures are third-party reports. Treat any number here as a starting point and confirm it in the cashier.

Decode withdrawal methods as reported by LCB
MethodMinimumFeeReported timeWeekly cap
Bitcoin$100Not stated48 hours$2,500
Bank wire150 (listed in euros)$501–10 business days$2,500
CheckNot stated$304–6 business days$3,000

The same LCB review says $5,000 in its body text, and VegasSlotsOnline also gives $5,000 a week. That conflict matters for large wins: at $2,500 a week, a $10,000 balance takes four weeks to clear; at $5,000, two weeks. VegasSlotsOnline lists Bitcoin as the only crypto for withdrawals. Our Decode withdrawals page and the general withdrawal limits guide go further.

Decode Casino reviews and complaints

Third-party ratings sit in the middle. LCB shows 3.3 out of 5 from 129 votes, with member allegations that no-deposit codes weren’t honored, an account was locked after a big win over a disputed max-bet rule, and a login loop. Trustpilot shows 3.9 out of 5 from 125 reviews, with themes of slow or canceled withdrawals, repeated document rejection and voided bonus winnings; Decode replies to 90% of negative reviews there.

The max-bet complaint is a reminder to read bonus rules carefully. Breaking a max-bet limit while a bonus is active is one of the most common reasons winnings are voided, as our why was my bonus removed answer explains.

Decode verification and customer support

LCB reports that Decode asks for a passport or driver’s license, proof of address, proof of payment ownership and a selfie with ID, sent to documents@decode.casino, with checks taking 0–2 days. Crypto depositors may also be asked for photo ID. Support is reported as 24/7 live chat, email at support@decode.casino and scheduled calls, though members report times with no agent available.

  1. Check Decode’s current terms in the cashier before depositing, since few terms are visible publicly.
  2. Start with a small deposit and complete verification before you play through a bonus.
  3. Request a modest test withdrawal so you learn the process before any large win.
  4. Keep chat transcripts and emails, as there is no state regulator to review them.
  5. If a payout stalls, follow the steps in our casino complaint guide.

Decode games, software and reported state restrictions

Decode’s site describes 300+ RTG slots and Star Trek games, which makes RealTime Gaming its headline provider. Third-party reviewers list far more studios, from Rival and Betsoft to BGaming and Mascot, with game counts from about 1,000 to over 2,500. LCB says US players can’t play several of those studios, so check the lobby. Our Decode slots page has the detail.

VegasSlotsOnline reports that Decode refuses players from Maryland, New Jersey, New York and Washington. There is no full list from the casino, so confirm at sign-up. In Washington, state law (RCW 9.46.240) makes knowingly transmitting or receiving gambling information over the internet a class C felony.

Is Decode Casino legit compared with SlotoCash and Silver Oak?

Putting Decode beside two older partners shows where its transparency gap sits. The figures below are the casinos' published terms where available and third-party reports where not.

Decode is the newest of the three and the only one with no ownership trail at all, but it also has no Michigan action on record. Silver Oak publishes the most about itself yet carries a regulator action and an LCB rating of 0.6 out of 5. No single column settles legitimacy. Is Decode Casino legal in the US?

Decode is offshore and not licensed or regulated by any US state. Your state’s law decides whether playing is lawful, not the casino’s location. Seven states license real-money online casinos, and Decode isn’t licensed in any of them. Our offshore casinos legality page and are offshore casinos safe answer set out what that means in practice.

Frequently asked questions

Is Decode Casino a scam?

No evidence shows Decode is a scam site, but it is one of the least transparent casinos we cover. It names no owner and no license, and it has only been running since 2024. Player reviews are mixed, with complaints about withdrawals and voided bonuses. Read our Decode review and how to spot a rogue casino before deciding.

Does Decode Casino name its owner anywhere?

No. Decode doesn’t say, and third-party reviewers report they couldn’t find the owner either. Its footer shows only a copyright line in the casino’s name. That means there is no company you can look up on a regulator’s register. Compare that with Silver Oak, which names Primrose Media Limited. See who owns Decode Casino for more.

Is Decode Casino licensed in Curaçao?

That can’t be confirmed, because no license appears on Decode’s website. VegasSlotsOnline names the Curaçao Gaming Control Board and LCB lists Curaçao, but neither gives a license number, and LCB’s review body says it found no licensing information. Even if confirmed, a Curaçao license isn’t a US state license. Our what is a Curaçao license answer explains.

How fast does Decode Casino pay out?

Third-party reviewers report 48 hours for Bitcoin, 1–10 business days for bank wire and 4–6 business days for check, counting business days only. Weekly caps are reported at $2,500 or $5,000, depending on the source. Reviewers don’t agree on these figures, so confirm in the cashier. See how long withdrawals take.

Which US states is Decode Casino reported to refuse?

VegasSlotsOnline reports that Decode refuses players from Maryland, New Jersey, New York and Washington. Decode doesn’t publish a complete restricted-state list, so check at sign-up rather than assuming you’re eligible. State law decides whether playing offshore is lawful where you live. Our state by state guide covers each state’s rules.

Is Decode Casino safe for Bitcoin deposits?

Decode accepts Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Litecoin and Ethereum deposits, per third-party listings, with a $5 minimum on Lightning Bitcoin. Crypto payments are hard to reverse, so a dispute depends entirely on the casino’s goodwill. Test with a small amount first. Our Decode Bitcoin page and is Bitcoin safe for casinos answer explain the trade-offs.

Has Michigan sent Decode a cease-and-desist letter?

Decode isn’t named in the Michigan Gaming Control Board releases that name our other partners, dated April 9, 2025, August 14, 2025 and October 8, 2026. That doesn’t mean Michigan approves of it: the board treats all unlicensed online casinos as illegal. Michigan has its own licensed apps, listed on our Michigan online casinos page.

Can I set deposit limits or self-exclude at Decode Casino?

Not through any published tool: Decode’s responsible gambling tools aren’t published in readable form, so ask live chat about deposit limits, time-outs and self-exclusion before you play, and set your own budget either way. Free tools such as blocking software work at any casino. For confidential help, call or text 1-800-MY-RESET. See Decode responsible gambling and our blocking software guide.

How little can I deposit to test Decode Casino?

Third-party listings put Decode's lowest deposit at $5 by Lightning Bitcoin, with $10 for Litecoin or Bitcoin Cash and $25 for other methods. LCB lists Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover, Diners Club, Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum, Litecoin, bank wire and check, and notes that methods such as AstroPay and Paysafecard aren't for US players. Bonus codes reported by reviewers, such as DECODE111, need $25. Decode's own banking terms couldn't be read in full, so check the cashier. Our Decode banking page and the minimum deposits guide compare the floors.

Is Decode Casino legit for players in Maryland?

Third-party reviews report that Decode doesn't accept Maryland players, so the question is mostly settled by the casino's own restrictions. Maryland itself licenses online sports betting, with 12 licensed mobile operators, but not online casinos; its Lottery and Gaming Control Agency says no other real-money online gaming operates legally there, and iGaming would need a voter referendum. The agency publishes cease-and-desist letters to unlicensed sites. Players in Baltimore should read our Maryland online casino guide and Maryland gambling laws.

Is Decode Casino's mobile site safe to use without an app?

Yes, if you use the real domain. Decode runs as an instant-play site in your phone's browser, according to its site description, and LCB says there's no app to download. That means you play on iPhone or Android through Safari or Chrome, with no App Store listing. Because there's no official app, be wary of any download claiming to be Decode, and bookmark the real domain. The same terms, caps and state restrictions apply on mobile. Our Decode mobile page and the mobile casino guide cover the details.

Is the Decode Casino $111 free chip legit?

Decode's site does advertise a $111 free chip, but no terms are visible on its public pages, so you can't check the rules before signing up. Third-party reviewers list other no-deposit codes, such as RTG50GRANDE for 50 free spins on RTG's 777 at 40x with a $200 max cashout, and codes change. LCB members allege that some no-deposit codes weren't honored. Treat any free chip as a small trial with strict cashout limits. Our Decode no deposit bonus page and the free chip explainer explain the catch.

Do reviewers agree on whether Decode Casino has live dealer games?

No, sources disagree on whether Decode has live dealer games, so check the lobby yourself before you deposit for them. LCB's listing says yes while its review says no, and VegasSlotsOnline lists none. Decode's own site highlights 300+ RTG slots and Star Trek games and doesn't mention a live casino. RTG itself is a slots-first studio. If live tables matter to you, confirm with support first. Our live dealer guide and the answer to whether RTG casinos have live dealer explain what to expect.

What can I do if Decode Casino won't pay my withdrawal?

Start with Decode's own support, in writing, and keep every message, because no US state regulator handles complaints against it. Third-party reports list support at support@decode.casino and documents at documents@decode.casino. Ask exactly which document or rule is holding the payout, and don't play the pending balance. Trustpilot shows Decode replying to 90% of negative reviews, which is one public route. Complaint sites can mediate but can't force payment. Our guides to casino withdrawal delays and casino ADR and complaints set out the steps.

Does Decode Casino have a VIP or cashback program?

Decode runs a weekly missions loyalty scheme rather than a tiered VIP club, according to third-party reviews. The missions are based on deposits and pay rewards such as free cash, spins and comp points; no tiers were found. Reviewers also report a 25% cashback offer with 20x wagering and seasonal codes. Because Decode's own terms aren't readable publicly, confirm the details in your account. Cashback with wagering is a bonus, not a refund. Our Decode VIP page and the cashback answer explain how these offers work.
