Best low deposit casinos for US players

The best low deposit casinos for US players let you start with $5 to $30, but the real entry price depends on the payment method, the bonus minimum and the withdrawal floor. This guide ranks five offshore casinos on those three numbers, shows the published terms in dollars and explains the legal position plainly.

Key takeaways

  • A $5 start is reported at all five ranked casinos, but only through Bitcoin Lightning.
  • Welcome bonuses need more: $20 at SlotoCash per its terms, and $25 to $30 elsewhere as reported.
  • Withdrawal minimums of $20 to $150 matter more to small players than deposit minimums.
  • All ranked casinos are offshore and not licensed by any US state; check your state's law first.

How we picked the best low deposit casinos

A low deposit casino is one that accepts a small first payment, usually somewhere between $5 and $30. That headline number is only part of the picture, so we ranked our partner casinos on four published or reported figures rather than marketing claims.

  1. Lowest deposit by method: the smallest amount the cashier accepts, and which payment method it applies to.
  2. Bonus minimum: the smallest deposit that qualifies for a welcome match, because a $5 deposit rarely does.
  3. Withdrawal minimum: the smallest balance you can cash out, which decides whether a small win can actually leave the casino.
  4. Source quality: figures printed on the casino's own banking or terms pages rank above figures reported by review sites.

We did not open accounts or make deposits. Every number below comes from the casino's own pages where those could be read, or from third-party reviewers where they could not, and each one is labeled so you know which is which. For the general background on minimums, see our minimum deposit explainer, and for every other ranked list, our best online casinos hub.

We earn a commission when you join through our links, and the order of this list is an editorial and commercial choice, not a lab test. Silver Oak, one of our partners, is left out here because its banking page lists $30 as the lowest deposit on every method, which is higher than the others.

The best low deposit casinos, ranked

1. SlotoCash: the most low-cost options in print

SlotoCash publishes the widest spread of small minimums on its own banking page (opens in a new tab): $5 for Bitcoin Lightning, $10 for Litecoin and Bitcoin Cash, $15 for AstroPay and $25 for Visa, Mastercard, American Express, standard Bitcoin and Ethereum. Card deposits carry a listed fee of $0.01 to $1. Its welcome-bonus terms set a $20 minimum per bonus, the lowest bonus threshold in this list.

The catch sits on the way out. Bitcoin and bank wire withdrawals start at $100 and checks at $150, so a small balance has to grow a long way before it can be cashed. The Michigan Gaming Control Board named SlotoCash in a cease-and-desist letter on October 8, 2026, as one of the illegal offshore operators it targeted.

2. Slot Madness: $5 in, $20 out (as reported)

Slot Madness does not have a readable official banking page, so its figures come from review sites. They report a $5 minimum for Lightning Bitcoin, $30 for cards and a $20 minimum withdrawal, which is the friendliest cashout floor among the ranked casinos. Third-party listings put its welcome code at a $30 minimum with 30x deposit plus bonus on slots.

Reviewers also report a $2,500 weekly and $5,000 monthly withdrawal cap and slow payouts in some complaints. The Michigan board named Slot Madness on August 14, 2025.

3. Decode: low crypto minimums, unclear terms

Decode Casino runs as a JavaScript app whose terms could not be read, so its numbers are third-party. Reviewers list $5 for Lightning Bitcoin, $10 for Litecoin and Bitcoin Cash and $25 for other methods, with codes such as DECODE111 needing $25. Bitcoin withdrawals are reported at a $100 minimum. Reviewers also report that Decode refuses players from Maryland, New Jersey, New York and Washington.

4. Royal Ace: small floor, slow payouts reported

Royal Ace is reported at $5 by Lightning Bitcoin, $30 by card and a $20 minimum withdrawal. The weak point is speed and limits: reviewers report pending times of 7 to 10 days, a $2,500 weekly cap and a welcome bonus whose max cashout is 10 times the deposit, which on a $30 deposit would be $300.

5. Planet 7: $5 entry, conflicting cashout floor

Planet 7 is reported at $5 by Lightning and $30 by card. Reviewers disagree on the withdrawal minimum ($50 in one listing, $100 in another), and one listing gives its WELCOME200 code a $1,000 max cashout. The Michigan board named Planet 7 in its April 9, 2025 cease-and-desist release (opens in a new tab).

Low deposit casino minimums by payment method

This table puts the smallest published or reported deposit for each method side by side. A dash means no figure was published or reported for that method.

Planet 7$5–$30Third-party reviews
Silver Oak (not ranked)–$30$30 (fee 3–10%)Casino's banking page

Two patterns stand out. First, the $5 tier is a Lightning Bitcoin feature everywhere it appears, so a player without a Lightning-capable wallet is really looking at $10 to $30. Second, card minimums cluster at $25 to $30, and cards are the method most likely to be declined by a US bank. Our Bitcoin banking guide covers the crypto side in more depth.

Deposit, bonus and withdrawal: the three minimums that matter

Most low deposit casino lists stop at the deposit figure. For a small budget, the bonus minimum and the withdrawal minimum shape the experience far more.

The three minimums side by side
CasinoLowest depositBonus minimumWithdrawal minimum
SlotoCash$5$20 per bonus (terms)$100 BTC or wire; $150 check
Slot Madness$5$30 (reported)$20 (reported)
Decode$5$25 (reported)$100 BTC (reported)
Royal Ace$5$30 card minimum (reported)$20 (reported)
Planet 7$5$30 (reported)$50 or $100 (sources differ)

Read across each row. At SlotoCash a $20 deposit gets a bonus but needs to become $100 before a Bitcoin cashout. At Slot Madness and Royal Ace the cashout floor is lower, but the figures are third-party and the bonus needs $30. There is no casino here where all three numbers are small and confirmed by the casino itself. The minimum withdrawal question explains why casinos set these floors.

Low deposit, high cashout floor: a worked example

Here is what a withdrawal floor means in dollars. Say you deposit $10 in Litecoin at SlotoCash and play without a bonus. Its banking page sets the Bitcoin withdrawal minimum at $100, so your balance must reach ten times your deposit before you can request a payout at all.

Slots pay back less than they take over time. Bubble Bubble, an RTG slot reported in several partner lobbies, is listed by SlotCatalog at a 95% RTP, which means a 5% house edge. Every $100 you stake costs $5 on average. Growing $10 into $100 is possible on a lucky run, but the average result points the other way, and most small balances end at zero rather than at the cashout floor.

Compare that with a casino reported at a $20 withdrawal minimum. A $20 balance from a $10 deposit is only double the starting amount, which happens far more often. That gap is why we weigh the withdrawal floor heavily for the best low deposit casinos. Our guide to weekly withdrawal limits covers the caps at the other end of the scale.

Low deposit casino bonuses: what a small deposit really gets

Match bonuses scale with the deposit, so a small deposit means a small bonus with the same wagering multiple. Take the third-party figures for Slot Madness's MAD275 code: a $30 deposit, a 275% match and 30x deposit plus bonus on slots.

  1. Bonus: $30 × 275% = $82.50.
  2. Playable balance: $30 + $82.50 = $112.50.
  3. Wagering: $112.50 × 30 = $3,375 in total slot bets.
  4. Expected cost at a 5% house edge: $3,375 × 5% = $168.75.
  5. Result: the average cost of clearing the bonus is larger than the whole $112.50 balance.

That does not make the bonus worthless. It means that on average the balance runs out before wagering is complete, and the bonus mostly buys more playing time. Free spins and match bonuses are slot-focused, and table games are often excluded or weighted lower, so check the terms. Our wagering requirements guide and bonus value method walk through the formula.

SlotoCash publishes another low-cost option, a $25 deposit that brings a $100 bonus with code 25EASYWIN100, but its rollover is not stated on the promotions page, so ask support before you rely on it.

How to make a low minimum deposit with Bitcoin Lightning

Because the $5 tier is Lightning-only, it helps to know the sequence. The exact screens vary by wallet and casino, so treat this as an outline rather than a script.

  1. Choose a wallet that supports the Lightning Network and buy a small amount of Bitcoin through a US exchange or the wallet itself.
  2. Open the casino cashier, pick the Lightning Bitcoin option and enter the dollar amount, such as $5 or $10.
  3. Copy the Lightning invoice or scan its QR code with your wallet. Invoices usually expire after a short time, so pay promptly or create a new one.
  4. Confirm the payment in your wallet and wait for the cashier balance to update.
  5. Lightning isn't listed as a withdrawal method at these casinos, so a crypto cashout goes to a regular on-chain address, usually Bitcoin.

Crypto payments generally can't be reversed, and the Federal Trade Commission warns that they lack the legal protections of a card. Our step-by-step pages on buying Bitcoin for casinos and setting up a crypto wallet go further.

Low deposit with a card: why $25 to $30 and why it gets declined

Card minimums sit at $25 at SlotoCash and Decode and $30 at the other ranked casinos. Many US card issuers decline transactions coded as gambling (merchant category code 7995) or treat them as cash advances with extra fees, which can turn a $25 deposit into a costly one.

The legal background is the federal Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act, which bars gambling businesses from accepting cards, transfers and checks (opens in a new tab) for unlawful internet gambling. It targets the businesses, not individual players, but it explains why banks are cautious. If a card is declined, don't keep retrying; read our card declines guide first.

The size of the deposit does not change the legal position. Only a handful of states license real-money online casinos: New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Michigan, West Virginia, Delaware, Connecticut and Rhode Island. Maine passed a tribal online casino law in January 2026, but nothing had launched by October 2026.

Every casino ranked on this page is offshore. None is licensed or regulated by a US state, so there is no state regulator to complain to and no state-backed protection of your balance, and the casino sets its own terms. Whether playing is lawful for you depends on your state's law, which is set out in our state-by-state guides and our page on offshore casino legality.

Michigan's regulator has been the most active in naming these brands: Planet 7 on April 9, 2025, Slot Madness on August 14, 2025 (opens in a new tab) and SlotoCash on October 8, 2026 (opens in a new tab). The board describes the operators it targets as illegal offshore sites.

Other low deposit casinos you'll see

Several non-partner brands also advertise small minimums. We don't rank them and we don't link their sites, but here are the published figures, with dates in our reviews.

  • Red Dog Casino: its welcome terms list $10 by Neosurf, $20 by most crypto, $30 by card and $40 by USDT, with a $150 minimum payout in its bonus terms. Michigan named it on April 9, 2025.
  • Ignition Casino: a $20 minimum on its welcome bonus and withdrawal minimums from $10 for several coins, per its own pages.
  • Cafe Casino and Slots.lv: each lists a $20 minimum deposit for its welcome offer.
  • Uptown Aces: a $25 minimum on its first-deposit bonus.

Sweepstakes sites such as Chumba Casino sell coin packages from around $10 instead of taking deposits, and several states now ban the model. See our sweepstakes casino laws page.

How to choose a low deposit casino, and what to avoid

Pros

  • A low minimum lets you try a casino's games and cashier for the price of a meal.
  • Lightning and Litecoin deposits avoid card declines and card fees.
  • A $20 withdrawal floor (as reported at two casinos) makes small wins reachable.

Cons

  • Bonus minimums are higher than deposit minimums almost everywhere.
  • A $100 or $150 withdrawal floor can trap a small balance.
  • Many figures are third-party only, and offshore terms can change without notice.

Avoid any site that pushes you to deposit more to reach a withdrawal threshold, offers to waive KYC for a fee or suggests hiding your location with a VPN. Our guide to spotting a rogue casino lists the warning signs, and verifying your account before your first withdrawal saves time later.

Keeping a low deposit budget low

A small minimum makes it easy to deposit again and again, and five $10 deposits add up to $50 quickly. Set a weekly limit before you start, and ask support to apply a deposit limit where the casino offers one.

Gambling is entertainment that costs money, and the house edge means losses are likely over time. If it stops being fun, the National Problem Gambling Helpline is free and confidential at 1-800-MY-RESET (1-800-697-3738), with call, text and chat through the NCPG helpline (opens in a new tab).

Frequently asked questions

What is the best low deposit casino for US players?

SlotoCash ranks first here because it publishes the widest range of small minimums on its own banking page: $5 by Lightning Bitcoin, $10 by Litecoin or Bitcoin Cash, and a $20 bonus minimum. Its weakness is a $100 Bitcoin withdrawal floor. Slot Madness and Royal Ace are reported at a $20 withdrawal minimum, but those figures come from reviewers. All are offshore, so compare them in our SlotoCash review and check your state's law first.

What is the lowest deposit at the best low deposit casinos?

The lowest figure among our ranked casinos is $5, and it applies only to Bitcoin Lightning deposits. Without Lightning, the floor rises to $10 for Litecoin or Bitcoin Cash at SlotoCash and Decode, and $25 to $30 for cards. Some sweepstakes sites sell coin packages for less, but those work differently. Our minimum deposit answer explains how casinos set these numbers.

Can I get a welcome bonus with a $5 deposit?

No, not at the casinos ranked here. SlotoCash's terms set a $20 minimum per welcome bonus, and reviewers report $25 at Decode and $30 at Slot Madness, Royal Ace and Planet 7. A $5 deposit plays as real money with no bonus attached, which also means no wagering requirement and no bonus max cashout. Read our welcome bonus guide for how the larger offers work.

Why can't I withdraw my small balance?

Most likely because it sits below the casino's withdrawal minimum. SlotoCash lists $100 for Bitcoin and $150 for checks, Planet 7 is reported at $50 or $100, and Royal Ace and Slot Madness at $20. A pending bonus or unfinished verification can also block a payout. Check the cashier's minimum for your method, and see why a withdrawal stays pending for other causes.

Are low deposit casinos legit?

A low minimum says nothing about whether a casino is trustworthy. All five ranked here are offshore and not licensed by any US state, none publishes a license on its own site and reviewers disagree about which, if any, they hold, and Michigan's regulator has named three of them in cease-and-desist letters. Reviewers also report slow payouts at some. Our legit casinos list and offshore safety answer set out what to check.

Is it cheaper to deposit with crypto or a card?

Crypto is usually cheaper at these casinos. SlotoCash charges $0.01 to $1 on card deposits and none on Bitcoin, while Silver Oak lists 3% to 10% on cards, which is $0.90 to $3.00 on a $30 deposit. Cards may also be declined or treated as cash advances by your bank. Crypto has its own costs, such as exchange spreads and network fees, covered in our crypto casinos list.

How much should I deposit at a low deposit casino?

Deposit only what you are comfortable losing in full, because the house edge makes losses likely over time. For many players that means a fixed weekly amount, such as $10 or $20, kept separate from bills. If you want a bonus, check that the deposit meets the bonus minimum and that you can afford the wagering. Our how much to deposit page and gambling budget guide help you set a figure.

Do low deposit casinos have lower withdrawal limits?

Not usually. The maximum withdrawal is set separately and is the same whatever you deposit. SlotoCash's terms cap withdrawals at $5,000 a week and $20,000 a month, while reviewers report $2,500 a week at Planet 7, Royal Ace and Slot Madness. Bonus max cashout rules can cap a bonus win, however. Our withdrawal limits page compares the caps.

Can I make a $5 casino deposit on my phone?

Yes, if you pay with Bitcoin Lightning from a mobile wallet, since that’s the only method reported at $5 at these casinos. SlotoCash’s support page says the casino runs in your browser with no app or download needed, so you can open the cashier on your phone, pick Lightning and pay the invoice from a wallet app on the same device. Copy the invoice or scan its QR code rather than typing it. Without Lightning, the phone minimum rises to $10 for Litecoin or $25 to $30 for cards. Our $5 deposit casinos list and mobile casino guide cover the details.

What is Miami Club's minimum deposit for each method?

Miami Club’s banking page lists $5 for Lightning Bitcoin, $10 for CardPay, Litecoin, Bitcoin Cash, Neosurf and eZee Wallet, and $25 for Visa, Mastercard, standard Bitcoin, Ethereum and Tether. The minimum for its welcome package isn’t published. Withdrawals start at $100 under its Terms of Use. The offer via our link is $4,000 Bonus + 285 Bonus Games (new players, 21+ or 18+ where allowed, terms apply). Its Terms of Use (v2.1, section 1.6) list the US as prohibited, while the affiliate program confirms US players are accepted, so confirm at sign-up. See Miami Club banking.

Can I play at a low deposit casino in Ohio?

Ohio doesn’t license online casinos, so no low deposit casino is state-licensed there, whatever its minimum. The Ohio Casino Control Commission regulates the state’s four casinos in Cleveland, Toledo, Columbus and Cincinnati, plus online sports betting, which launched on January 1, 2023. A bill to allow online casinos, HB 298, has been stuck in committee since May 2025. Reviewers report that Royal Ace and Slot Madness don’t accept Ohio players, so check before you deposit even $5. The Ohio Problem Gambling Helpline is 1-800-589-9966. Our Ohio online casinos page explains the law.

Do low deposit casinos charge fees on small withdrawals?

Some do, and a fee hurts most on a small payout. SlotoCash’s banking page lists Bitcoin withdrawals as free but a $50 fee on bank wire and $60 on courier check, figures that differ on its payout-methods page, so a $100 wire could lose half its value. Silver Oak’s terms add an 8% fee, with a $4 minimum, if a deposit wasn’t wagered at least once. Reviewers report no withdrawal fees at Royal Ace, Slot Madness and Planet 7. On a small balance, crypto is usually the cheapest way out. Our casino withdrawal fees page compares the charges.

Can I use Neosurf for a low deposit?

Yes, at Miami Club, whose banking page lists Neosurf deposits from $10 with no deposit fee. Neosurf is a prepaid voucher, so it avoids the card declines that hit many US gambling deposits, but you can’t withdraw to it; Miami Club pays out by Bitcoin, Ethereum, check or bank wire, with a $100 minimum. Among non-partner brands, Red Dog Casino’s welcome terms also list a $10 Neosurf minimum. Remember that the bonus minimum may be higher than the voucher amount. Our Neosurf casinos list and Neosurf banking guide explain how vouchers work.

How long does a small withdrawal take at a low deposit casino?

A small withdrawal takes as long as a large one, because time depends on the casino’s review process, not the amount. SlotoCash’s payout-methods page says Bitcoin requests are handled within 48 business hours, with one request a week. Reviewers report pending periods of 7 to 10 days at Royal Ace and Slot Madness, and 5 to 7 days at Planet 7, with weekends excluded. Your first payout can also wait on ID checks, so verify your account before you request it. Our casino withdrawal times guide and fast payout casinos list compare the speeds.
