The best blackjack casinos for US players among our partners are Silver Oak, Planet 7 and Royal Ace, the three where the casino or reviewers name blackjack games or blackjack bonus terms. All run RealTime Gaming tables, none offers live dealers on the sources we have, and all three are offshore casinos with no US state license.
Published terms (casino terms): Silver Oak advertises a 100% match on each of its first ten deposits (up to $10,000 in total) with codes SILVEROAK1–10. Eligible games: Slots, keno, scratch cards (table games at 60x; many games excluded).

What are the best blackjack casinos in the USA?
Our best blackjack casinos for US players are Silver Oak, Planet 7 and Royal Ace. We ranked only these three because they are the partners where blackjack itself shows up in the evidence: in Silver Oak's own promotions and bonus terms, in a reviewer's list of Planet 7's games and in LCB's account of Royal Ace's wagering rules.
Our other partners, SlotoCash, Decode and Slot Madness, very likely carry RTG card games too, but no source we hold names a blackjack table at any of them, so we don't rank them for blackjack. If blackjack is your main game, check each lobby yourself before you deposit.
Two things hold for every casino on this page. None is licensed or regulated by any US state, and none is reported to run a live dealer table, so you'll be playing RNG (computer-dealt) blackjack. This page sits in our best casino rankings; the order is an editorial and commercial choice, since we earn commission on sign-ups, not a result of playing at the tables.
How we chose the best online blackjack casinos
For blackjack, a big slot bonus counts for almost nothing. We weighed:
Blackjack evidence: whether the casino or a reviewer names a blackjack game, promotion or blackjack wagering rule.
Reported RTP of the blackjack versions on offer, using RTG figures from third-party catalogs.
How bonuses treat blackjack: excluded, weighted lower or held to a higher wagering multiple.
Withdrawal caps and reported payout times, since a good blackjack session still has to be cashed out.
Regulator actions and complaint records.
We couldn't verify table limits, deck counts or dealer rules for any partner's tables, because none publishes them in a form we could read. Where a rule appears below, it comes from a third-party catalog of RTG's games, and the casino's own table may differ.
1. Silver Oak: blackjack named in its own terms
Silver Oak is the only partner whose own site refers to blackjack directly. Its promotions list a Blackjack bonus (terms not detailed in the pages we have), and its new-member offer page (opens in a new tab) sets 30x playthrough generally but 60x for blackjack and video poker. The general terms and conditions (opens in a new tab) say 40x on slots and 60x on table games and video poker, and they exclude Pontoon 21, Baccarat, Roulette and other table games from bonus play altogether.
In plain terms: if a Silver Oak bonus counts for a blackjack version at all, you must wager twice as much as on slots. The package via our link is slot-focused, so confirm with support which blackjack versions count, if any, before playing a bonus balance at the tables.
Silver Oak runs RealTime Gaming according to its own mobile page, and LCB says it has no live dealer games. Withdrawals start at a $2,500 weekly cap, with 7–10 business days for review plus 7–10 for payment in its terms. Its operator, Primrose Media Limited, says it holds an Anjouan license; LCB lists none. Michigan named Silver Oak on April 9, 2025.
2. Planet 7: Suit 'Em Up Blackjack reported in the lobby
Bonus terms reported for Planet 7 treat table games as second-class. Blockonomi says its $25 free chip carries 30x on slots and 60x on table games and video poker, and redeemed comp points carry the same 30x or 60x split. LCB lists no live dealer games.
All Planet 7 facts are third-party, because its own site couldn't be read for our research. Reviewers report a $2,500 weekly cap, and LCB says payouts usually take more than a month. Michigan named Planet 7 on April 9, 2025.
3. Royal Ace: blackjack and classic blackjack in its wagering rules
LCB's Royal Ace listing (opens in a new tab) sets 30x (bonus + deposit) for slots and parlor games and 60x for blackjack, video poker and classic blackjack, which tells us the lobby has more than one blackjack version. Casino.guru lists RTG and SpinLogic as the software. LCB says there are no live dealer games.
The same welcome offer is reported with a max cashout of 10x the deposit, and casino.guru describes a different package entirely, 250% up to $2,500 plus 35 spins. Reviewers report caps of $2,500 a week and $5,000 a month and pending times of 7–10 days. AskGamblers and casino.guru list no responsible gambling tools, and Royal Ace reportedly doesn't accept Ohio players.

What online blackjack costs per hour in dollars
Expected loss is total stake × house edge, and the house edge is 100% minus RTP. RNG blackjack deals fast; assuming 100 hands an hour, which varies by player, the average cost looks like this:

That is why blackjack appeals to players who want their budget to last. The catch is that the low edge depends on how you play: doubling, splitting and standing at the wrong times give money back to the house. A basic strategy chart reduces the house edge; it doesn't remove it, and losses are still likely over time.
Online blackjack bonuses: why most don't help
Casinos know blackjack's edge is low, so they protect their bonuses. Expect one of three treatments in the terms:
Excluded: play on blackjack doesn't count, or voids bonus winnings. SlotoCash's general bonus terms exclude table games by default, and Silver Oak's terms exclude Pontoon 21.
Weighted down: each dollar counts as a fraction. Miami Club's bonus terms, for example, weight blackjack at 5%, so $100 of blackjack counts as $5 of wagering.
Higher multiple: blackjack counts in full but at a higher rate, such as the 60x that Silver Oak and Royal Ace are reported to set against 30x for slots.
A 60x requirement doubles the turnover of a 30x one, and a 5% weighting multiplies it by 20. That's before any max bet rule. The packages via our links are slot-focused, so for most blackjack players the simplest route is to decline the bonus and keep withdrawals free of wagering conditions. Our best bonus for blackjack page and game weighting explained go further.
Playing a bonus balance on an excluded game can void the bonus and its winnings. Read the excluded-games list before you sit down at a table.
Blackjack strategy, card counting and betting systems
Basic strategy is the set of mathematically best decisions for each hand against each dealer upcard, and using it reduces the house edge. It doesn't make blackjack a winning game.
Card counting worked historically in shoe games where cards weren't reshuffled until deep in the deck. Online RNG blackjack reshuffles every hand, so there is nothing to count. Our card counting online page covers the history and theory.
Betting systems such as Martingale, doubling after each loss, don't change the edge. They swap many small wins for an occasional very large loss: starting at $10, six losses in a row means a seventh bet of $640 after $630 already lost. See is Martingale a good strategy.
Other blackjack casinos you'll see
These casinos come up in searches for online blackjack. We review them but don't rank them here:
SlotoCash names Tri-Card Poker and video poker on its homepage but no blackjack game, and its general bonus terms exclude table games by default.
Slot Madness has European Roulette and Keno named by reviewers, but no blackjack title in our sources.
Decode lists thousands of games by third-party counts, without a named blackjack table.
Ignition Casino and Bovada are large offshore brands; Bovada's terms exclude 19 states and DC, and Michigan, Colorado, West Virginia and Mississippi have acted against it.
Miami Club, our second-ranked partner, lists blackjack among its game categories but runs WGS (Wager Gaming) software rather than RTG, and its bonus terms weight blackjack at just 5%. Its Terms of Use (v2.1, September 28, 2026, section 1.6) list the United States as a prohibited jurisdiction, while the site owner's affiliate program confirms US players are accepted, so confirm your eligibility at sign-up.
If you want live dealer blackjack specifically, none of our partners is reported to offer it. Our live dealer casinos list explains the options and their limits.
How to play blackjack online for real money, step by step
Check your state's law on online casinos; these casinos aren't licensed by any US state.
Open the casino's table games lobby and confirm which blackjack versions it carries and their table limits.
Read the bonus terms and decide whether to decline the welcome bonus, since most exclude or downweight blackjack.
Verify your account with ID and proof of address before your first withdrawal.
Learn basic strategy for the exact version you'll play, and keep a chart open.
Set a session budget and stop-loss, and avoid side bets unless you accept their higher cost.
Is online blackjack legal in the US, and is it taxed?
Real-money online blackjack is licensed in seven states: New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Michigan, West Virginia, Delaware, Connecticut and Rhode Island. Maine legalized tribal online casinos in January 2026, but nothing had launched by October 2026. The casinos on this page are offshore and hold none of these licenses. Federal UIGEA targets payment processing for unlawful internet gambling rather than the player's bet; your state's law decides the rest. See is online gambling legal in the US.
Blackjack winnings are taxable federal income. A Form W-2G is required for this kind of wagering only when winnings reach $2,000 and at least 300 times the wager, per the IRS W-2G instructions (opens in a new tab). Blackjack pays 3:2 and the side bets reported here top out at 60:1, so a W-2G is rare, but you still owe tax. From tax year 2026, the loss deduction is reported to be capped at 90% of losses; check IRS guidance. Our gambling taxes guide explains record-keeping.

Frequently asked questions
What is the best online casino for blackjack in the USA?
Among our partners, Silver Oak ranks first for blackjack because its own site names blackjack in its promotions and wagering rules, followed by Planet 7 and Royal Ace. All three run RealTime Gaming and are offshore, with no US state license. None offers live dealer blackjack, according to reviewers. The ranking is editorial and commercial. Compare the top two on Silver Oak vs Planet 7.
What is the house edge on online blackjack?
The house edge is 100% minus the game's RTP, so it depends on the version. Third parties list RTG's Super 21 at 99.6% RTP, a 0.4% edge, and Suit 'Em Up Blackjack at 99.51%, a 0.49% edge. That edge assumes good decisions; poor play raises it. Side bets such as Perfect Pairs carry a higher edge than the main hand. Our answer to the house edge on blackjack goes deeper.
Does card counting work at RTG online blackjack tables?
No. Online RNG blackjack reshuffles every hand, so there is no depleted deck to track. Card counting is a historical technique for shoe games dealt deep into the deck, and it doesn't apply to computer-dealt tables. None of our partners is reported to run live dealer tables, where shoe rules can differ. Our answer to can you count cards online explains why in more detail.
Can I use a welcome bonus at these blackjack casinos?
Usually only on poor terms, if at all. Many bonuses exclude table games, others weight blackjack at a fraction, such as Miami Club's 5%, and some apply a higher multiple, such as the 60x reported for blackjack at Silver Oak and Royal Ace. The packages via our links are slot-focused, so check whether blackjack counts before you play a bonus balance. See what games count toward wagering.
Do these casinos offer live dealer blackjack?
No, according to the sources we have. LCB lists no live dealer games at Silver Oak, Planet 7 or Royal Ace, which fits their RealTime Gaming setup. All three offer RNG blackjack, where a random number generator deals each hand. Some other offshore casinos add a separate live provider. Our live dealer guide explains how live tables work and what to check before playing them.
Is RNG blackjack at offshore casinos rigged?
RNG blackjack isn't designed to read your hand, but it isn't checked by any US state regulator at offshore casinos either. RTG says its games are tested by Technical Systems Testing, as reported by LCB and GamblingNews, though we haven't seen certificates for these casinos. The house edge alone means losses are likely over time. Read how RNGs work for what testing does and doesn't cover.
What is the best blackjack strategy?
The best strategy is basic strategy for the exact rules you're playing, combined with a firm budget. Basic strategy tells you when to hit, stand, double or split, and it reduces the house edge, but it doesn't remove it. Progressive betting systems like Martingale don't change the odds and can produce very large losses. Start with our basic strategy guide and practice before betting real money.
Do I get a W-2G for blackjack winnings?
Rarely. For blackjack, a W-2G is required only when winnings reach $2,000 and at least 300 times the wager, and normal blackjack payouts are far below 300 to 1. That doesn't make the winnings tax-free: all gambling winnings are taxable federal income, whether or not you get a form. Keep records of wins and losses. Our W-2G glossary entry explains the thresholds.
Is Miami Club Casino good for blackjack?
It carries blackjack, but its bonuses don't favor it. Miami Club lists blackjack among its game categories and runs WGS (Wager Gaming) software rather than RTG, so the RTG versions and RTP figures on this page don't apply there; check the game's help screen. Its bonus terms count blackjack at only 5%, so playing without a bonus makes more sense. On eligibility, its Terms of Use (v2.1, September 28, 2026, section 1.6) list the United States as prohibited, while the affiliate program behind our link confirms US players are accepted. See Miami Club table games.
Can I play blackjack on my phone at these casinos?
Yes, all three ranked casinos run their RTG tables in a mobile browser rather than an app. Silver Oak's own mobile casino page says its games work in the browser on Android phones, iPhones and tablets, and reviewers describe Planet 7 as instant play on both systems. Blackjack suits a small screen better than most table games, but keep a basic strategy chart open in another tab or on paper, since a quick tap makes mistakes easy. Our mobile casino guide covers browser setup and security.
Are blackjack side bets worth it?
Usually not, if your aim is to make your budget last, because side bets cost more per dollar than the main hand. RTG's Blackjack + Perfect Pairs is listed anywhere from 95.9% to 99.59% RTP, a range that reflects the pairs wager returning far less than the base game. Suit 'Em Up's suited side bet pays up to 60:1 for suited aces, but its edge isn't separately published. If you play one, treat it as a small, separate stake. Our Blackjack + Perfect Pairs page explains the pays.
Is online blackjack legal in Connecticut?
Yes, through the state's two licensed online casinos. Connecticut's Public Act 21-23, signed in May 2021, authorized online casino games, and the Department of Consumer Protection's Gaming Division lists DraftKings, partnered with the Mashantucket Pequot Tribe and Foxwoods, and FanDuel, partnered with the Mohegan Tribe and Mohegan Sun. Those sites answer to a state regulator. The offshore casinos ranked on this page aren't licensed in Connecticut, and the state banned sweepstakes casinos from October 1, 2025. Read our Connecticut online casinos guide.
How much money do I need for an online blackjack session?
Enough to absorb normal swings at your chosen stake, which is far more than one hand's bet. At $10 a hand and an assumed 100 hands an hour, you'd wager $1,000 an hour, with an average cost of about $4 on Super 21's reported 99.6% RTP, yet losing $50 in ten hands is entirely possible. Decide a session budget and stop-loss first, then size each bet so the budget covers many hands. Pick the stake from your budget, not the other way round. Our answer on what a good bankroll is goes further.
