Alaska online casino bonuses come only from offshore casinos, since the state licenses no online casino of its own. The offers look generous, but wagering, game rules and cashout caps decide what they're worth. Below are the bonuses two offshore casinos publish or are reported to offer, and the math that shows what clearing them costs.
AK No state-licensed online casinos · Alaska guide
Every casino bonus available in Alaska comes from an offshore site that no US state licenses.
Silver Oak's own pages conflict on wagering: 30x on the offer page, 40x on slots in its terms.
Planet 7's welcome bonus is reported at 200% with 30x (bonus + deposit) and a $1,000 max cashout.
At a 3.75% house edge, the expected cost of clearing a large bonus can exceed the bonus itself.
A bonus locks your balance until wagering is done, so skipping it is often the faster route to a withdrawal.

Alaska online casino bonuses: the short answer
Alaska has no state-licensed online casinos, so there are no state-regulated welcome offers like the ones players in New Jersey or Michigan see. The bonuses that reach Anchorage, Juneau and Fairbanks are from offshore casinos, and their terms are written by the casinos alone.
That doesn't make every offer worthless, but it does mean you should read the numbers rather than the headline. This page uses two examples: Silver Oak, whose own promotion pages could be read, and Planet 7, whose terms come only from third-party reviews. For the legal background, start at the Alaska online casinos hub; for deposit-free offers, see no deposit casino bonuses in Alaska.
Why every casino bonus in Alaska is an offshore offer
Only seven states license real-money online casinos: New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Michigan, West Virginia, Delaware, Connecticut and Rhode Island. Alaska isn't one, and its gambling statutes couldn't be checked for this page, so we don't say how they treat offshore play. Our Alaska gambling laws page sets out what's confirmed.
Both casinos on this page have drawn regulator attention elsewhere. The Michigan Gaming Control Board's April 9, 2025 release (opens in a new tab) named Silver Oak and Planet 7 among 13 unlicensed offshore sites and ordered them to stop serving Michigan residents. That order covers Michigan only, but it's a fair signal of how a licensing state sees them. More in our cease-and-desist letters tracker.

Silver Oak's promotion pages could be read directly, so these are the casino's own words, with its own conflicts left in.

Planet 7's own site couldn't be read, so everything here comes from third-party reviews, which disagree in places. Treat it as a guide to check against the casino's terms, not as settled.
A wagering requirement is the total you must bet before bonus money, and anything won with it, can be withdrawn. Three numbers set the size of that target:
The multiplier, such as 30x or 40x.
The base: the bonus alone, or the bonus plus your deposit. A bonus-plus-deposit base can double the target.
Game weighting: slots usually count in full, while table games count less, count at a higher multiple, or don't count at all.
Wagering math in dollars: a $50 deposit at each casino
To compare like with like, take a $50 deposit and a slot with a 96.25% RTP, the figure SlotCatalog reports for Storm Lords, an RTG slot named on Silver Oak's mobile page. That's a 3.75% house edge.

Planet 7: 200%, 30x bonus + deposit

$75.00
Silver Oak: 100%, 30x bonus + deposit
$50
30 × $100 = $3,000
$112.50
Read the Planet 7 row closely. You start with $150, but the average cost of clearing $4,500 in wagers is $168.75, more than the whole balance. On average the balance runs out before the requirement is met; only players who happen to hit early wins finish. Silver Oak's terms don't say which base applies, which is why the table shows three readings.
Max cashout: the cap that limits a bonus win
A max cashout caps what you can withdraw from bonus play, however much you win. Third-party reviews report a $1,000 cap on Planet 7's welcome bonus. If a lucky run turns $150 into $2,400 and you clear the wagering, $1,000 is paid and the other $1,400 is removed.
Silver Oak's offer page says 'no max withdrawal' on its welcome bonus, which is better on paper. Its weekly withdrawal cap of $2,500 still sets the pace of any payout. See our max cashout explainer and max cashout rules for how casinos apply these caps.
Which games count, and which void your winnings
Bonuses at both casinos are built for slots. Silver Oak's terms (opens in a new tab) exclude baccarat, craps, crash games, Henferno, pai gow poker, Pontoon 21, roulette, shooting games, sic bo, war, tournaments, live dealer games and progressives from bonus play. Where table games and video poker aren't excluded, the terms set a 60x multiple rather than 40x, so plan on slots only.
Planet 7 is reported to void winnings from Banana Jones and Fish Catch played with coupon funds. Playing an excluded game, even by accident, is one of the most common reasons bonus winnings are removed. Our Alaska online slots page covers the slots these offers target, and bonus terms red flags lists other traps.
Cashback and comp points: the slower kinds of bonus
Silver Oak's cashback applies only to deposits above $1,000 made without a bonus. On a $1,200 deposit, 30% cashback would be $360, carrying 30x wagering, or $10,800 in bets. It's built for high rollers, and it's never a reason to deposit more than you planned.
Comp points are smaller but steadier. Both casinos value 100 points at $1. At Planet 7, reviewers report a 1,000-point minimum to redeem ($10), with 30x wagering on redeemed comps for slots. At Silver Oak, points expire after 12 months. Our comp points guide explains how they accrue.
How to claim a casino bonus from Alaska
Read the casino's bonus terms and general terms in full, and note the multiplier, base, max cashout, excluded games and any expiry.
Verify your account with ID and proof of address before depositing, so a later withdrawal isn't held up.
Deposit at least the stated minimum, using a method the bonus allows.
Enter the bonus code if one is required, or confirm with support that the offer from our link has been applied.
Play only eligible slots, and keep each bet under any max-bet rule.
Track your wagering progress, and request a withdrawal only once the requirement is met.
A bonus adds playing time, not profit. The house edge still applies to every wager, and the larger the wagering target, the less of the bonus survives on average. If your goal is to play a little and be able to withdraw freely, declining the bonus keeps your balance free to withdraw.

Frequently asked questions
Are online casino bonuses legal in Alaska?
Alaska doesn't license any online casino, so there are no state-approved casino bonuses. The bonuses Alaskans see come from offshore sites that aren't licensed by any US state, and Alaska's own statute text couldn't be confirmed for this page. Federal law targets gambling businesses rather than players. Read is it illegal to play at offshore casinos for how state law decides the question.
What is the best casino bonus for Alaska players?
The best bonus is the one whose terms you can realistically meet, not the biggest headline. Compare the wagering multiple, whether it applies to the bonus alone or bonus plus deposit, the max cashout and the excluded games. A smaller bonus with a lower target often leaves more money on average. Our guide to comparing casino bonuses walks through a side-by-side method.
How do wagering requirements work on Alaska casino bonuses?
A wagering requirement is the total amount you must bet before bonus funds can be withdrawn. Multiply the stated multiple by the base: a $100 bonus at 30x bonus-only means $3,000 in bets, while 30x on a $100 deposit plus $100 bonus means $6,000. Your expected cost is that total times the house edge. See what a wagering requirement is for more examples.
Can I use a Silver Oak bonus on blackjack or roulette in Alaska?
Treat bonuses as slots-only. Silver Oak's terms exclude roulette, baccarat, craps and several other games from bonus play, and set a harsher 60x multiple for table games and video poker against 40x for slots. Third-party reviews describe Planet 7's welcome bonus as slots only. Breaking these rules can void winnings, so check the terms first. Our games that count toward wagering answer explains weighting.
What is the max cashout on Planet 7's bonus for Alaska players?
Third-party reviews report a $1,000 cap on Planet 7's welcome bonus, the most you can withdraw from bonus play however much you win. So a $2,400 balance after wagering would pay $1,000. Silver Oak's offer page says its welcome bonus has no max withdrawal, though weekly withdrawal caps still apply. Read what max cashout means.
Do casino bonus codes work in Alaska?
Codes are set by each casino, not by state, and they change often. Silver Oak publishes SILVEROAK1 to SILVEROAK10 for its welcome deposits, and reviewers report WELCOME200 at Planet 7. Neither casino publishes a full list of US states it refuses, so confirm with support that a code applies to your account. Our bonus codes page explains how codes are applied.
Can I cancel a casino bonus after claiming it?
Many casinos let you ask support to remove a bonus, but bonus winnings are usually forfeited when you do, and the terms vary. Silver Oak's terms also charge 8% if you withdraw a deposit you haven't wagered once. Ask support for the exact rule before you claim, and get it in writing. Our answer on canceling a bonus covers the usual policies.
What is the minimum deposit for a casino bonus in Alaska?
At the two casinos on this page, plan on $30. Silver Oak's own pages state no separate minimum for its welcome bonus beyond the general $30 deposit floor. Third-party reviews report a $30 card minimum at Planet 7 and $5 by Bitcoin Lightning, but they don't say whether a $5 crypto deposit qualifies for the 200% match, so check before depositing. Card deposits from Alaska can be declined by your bank under the gambling merchant code. Our Planet 7 welcome bonus page tracks its terms, and the low deposit casinos list compares minimums across partners.
How long do I have to use a Silver Oak bonus in Alaska?
Silver Oak doesn't publish an expiry date for its ten-deposit welcome bonus, so ask support before you claim and keep the answer in writing. Some of its other offers do carry clocks: birthday chips are valid for 7 days, and comp points expire after 12 months. When no deadline is stated, the casino's general terms or a support agent's reply is what you'd rely on in a dispute, and there's no Alaska regulator to appeal to. Our bonus expiry guide explains how deadlines usually work, and the Silver Oak bonus codes page lists the current codes.
Is Silver Oak's cashback bonus worth it for Alaska players?
Only for high rollers, and even then the wagering makes it slow. Silver Oak's cash back page pays 30% to 50% on deposits over $1,000 made without a bonus, credited on Mondays, with 30x wagering. On a $1,200 deposit, 30% cashback is $360, which means $10,800 in bets before it can be withdrawn; at a 3.75% house edge, that wagering carries an expected cost of about $405, more than the cashback itself. Never deposit more than planned just to qualify. See our cashback bonus guide and the high roller bonus page for the trade-offs.
What are Planet 7 comp points worth for Alaska players?
About $1 for every 100 points, according to third-party reviews. Blockonomi reports a 1,000-point minimum to redeem, so your first conversion is worth $10, and redeemed comps carry 30x or 60x wagering before they can be withdrawn. At 30x, a $10 comp means $300 in slot bets. Silver Oak uses the same 100-points-to-$1 rate, with points expiring after 12 months. Comps reward play you'd do anyway; they aren't a reason to play more. Our comp points guide explains how points accrue, and the Planet 7 VIP program page covers its loyalty scheme.
How much does it cost to clear a Planet 7 bonus from Alaska?
On average, more than the bonus is worth. With a $50 deposit and the 200% match third-party reviews report, you get $100 in bonus and a $150 balance. At 30x bonus plus deposit, that's $4,500 in bets. On a slot with a 96.25% RTP, a 3.75% house edge, the expected cost is $168.75, more than the whole balance. Some players hit early wins and finish, and the reported $1,000 max cashout then caps any payout. Most don't. Our expected value of a bonus guide shows the method, and how to clear a casino bonus covers the practical steps.
Are Silver Oak and Planet 7 bonuses safe for Alaska players?
They come with no state protection, because neither casino is licensed by Alaska or any US state. The Michigan Gaming Control Board named both in its April 9, 2025 cease-and-desist release, among 13 unlicensed offshore operators. Silver Oak is the only partner that publishes a license, held by Primrose Media Limited in Anjouan, while third parties report Costa Rica or no license for Planet 7. Bonus terms are each casino's own and can change, so screenshot them when you claim. Read is Silver Oak legit and is Planet 7 legit for the full record.
