What is an affiliate? In online gambling, it's usually a website or publisher that a casino pays to refer new players through tracking links. The word also describes casinos linked by shared ownership, known as sister brands, and it now appears in state law, where Oklahoma's new ban is reported to reach media affiliates.
An affiliate is usually a publisher paid commission by a casino for players it refers.
'Affiliated' casinos are sister brands under shared or related ownership, a different meaning.
The casino, not the affiliate, holds your money, sets the terms and processes withdrawals.
This site is an affiliate of seven offshore partner casinos, none licensed by any US state.
Oklahoma's SB 1589, effective November 1, 2026, is reported to extend liability to media affiliates.

What is an affiliate? A plain definition
An affiliate is a business that promotes another company's product and gets paid for the customers it sends. In online casinos, the affiliate is usually a review site, comparison site, streamer or newsletter, and the company paying it is the casino.
The link between them is the affiliate program: the casino's scheme for signing up affiliates, giving them tracking links and paying commission. This site is one of those affiliates. We're paid by seven partner casinos, and we disclose it. For a deeper look at the money side, read how affiliate casino sites make money; for other short answers, try our casino questions page.
Three meanings of 'affiliate' at online casinos
The same word turns up in three quite different contexts. Knowing which one you're reading saves confusion.
What 'affiliate' can mean in US online gambling
Meaning
What it refers to
Example
Marketing affiliate
A publisher paid commission for referred players
This site, paid by its seven partner casinos
Affiliated (sister) casino
Brands sharing an owner, operator or platform
SlotoCash and Miami Club, widely reported as Deckmedia N.V. brands
Affiliate in law
A party a statute holds responsible alongside an operator
Oklahoma's SB 1589, reported to cover media affiliates
Most of the time, a casino page that says 'affiliate' means the first. Ownership pages, such as who owns SlotoCash, deal with the second.
Casino affiliate terms, defined
Affiliate vocabulary you may see on casino sites
Term
Meaning
Affiliate program
The casino's or group's scheme for recruiting and paying affiliates
Affiliate link / tracking link
A link carrying a code that tells the casino which affiliate sent you
Revenue share
Commission as a percentage of the casino's net revenue from referred players
CPA
A one-off fee per referred player who meets a condition, such as a first deposit
Exclusive offer
A bonus available only through a particular affiliate's link
Disclosure
A statement that the site earns commission from the brands it features
Exclusive offers are why the bonus via our link can differ from a casino's own package. SlotoCash's own welcome bonus terms (opens in a new tab) describe $7,777 plus 300 spins over five deposits, while the offer via our link is $6,000 plus 60 free spins. Our bonus codes guide explains how linked offers and codes fit together.
Affiliate offer vs the casino's own bonus: the gap in dollars
Because affiliate links can carry their own offers, the headline you see here often differs from the package on the casino's own site. This table sets the two side by side for four partners. The casino's own figures come from its pages; the linked offers were supplied by the site owner on October 28, 2026.
Offer via our link vs package on the casino's own site
Casino
Offer via our link
Package on its own site
SlotoCash
$6,000 + 60 free spins
$7,777 + 300 spins over five deposits
Miami Club
$4,000 + 285 Bonus Games
Up to $800: 100% up to $100 on each of eight purchases
Decode
$5,000 + 50 free spins
$111 free chip + crypto bonus, no terms visible
Silver Oak
$2,500 + 50 free spins
$10,000: 100% on each of ten deposits, no free spins
Neither column tells you the value on its own. Wagering, max cashout and eligible games decide that, and the terms shown at sign-up are the ones that apply. Miami Club's Terms of Use (v2.1, September 28, 2026, section 1.6) list the United States as a prohibited jurisdiction, while the site owner's affiliate program confirms US players are accepted, so confirm eligibility when you register. Compare offers with our guide to comparing casino bonuses, or see the Miami Club welcome bonus and Silver Oak welcome bonus pages.
Affiliate vs casino: who is responsible for what
An affiliate publishes information and links. It doesn't hold your deposit, can't approve a withdrawal and has no say over your account. Those jobs belong to the casino.
The casino sets bonus terms, wagering, max cashout and withdrawal caps.
The casino runs ID checks; partners ask for photo ID and proof of address before payouts.
The casino decides disputes. SlotoCash's terms, for example, require disputes within 14 days.
An offshore casino isn't licensed by any US state, so there's no state regulator to take a complaint.
If something goes wrong, contact the casino first. Our page on how to complain about an online casino sets out the realistic options for offshore sites.
Affiliated casinos: sister brands and shared ownership
Casinos are 'affiliated' when they share an owner, operator or platform. That matters because sister brands often share terms, support and payment processing, and complaints about one can hint at problems at another.
SlotoCash and Miami Club are widely reported as Deckmedia N.V. brands, and Miami Club's support page (opens in a new tab) says it's part of the Deckmedia affiliate program. Miami Club's published Terms of Use (opens in a new tab) (v2.1, September 28, 2026, section 1.6) list the United States as a prohibited jurisdiction, while the site owner's affiliate program confirms US players are accepted, so confirm eligibility at sign-up. See who owns Miami Club Casino.
An LCB forum thread describes Silver Oak, Planet 7, Royal Ace and Slot Madness as sister brands. Silver Oak's terms name Primrose Media Limited; reviewers name Primrose Media Limited, Ace Revenue Group and others for the rest. Michigan's regulator named Silver Oak and Planet 7 in the same April 9, 2025 release (opens in a new tab), and Slot Madness on August 14, 2025; Royal Ace appears in none of the releases.
When US law uses the word 'affiliate'
State lawmakers have started to name affiliates directly. Oklahoma's SB 1589 took effect on November 1, 2026. It bans online casino games and dual-currency sweepstakes, and a bill summary reports that liability extends beyond operators to promoters and media affiliates.
That's one reason our Oklahoma page carries no offers, and neither do our Michigan or Washington pages. Other states regulate casino marketing differently, and federal law doesn't make placing a bet a crime for the player. For the wider picture, see cease-and-desist letters and how regulators use them.
An affiliate referral, step by step
Here's what happens when you use an affiliate link, and what you should check at each stage.
You click an offer on an affiliate site. Check that the page that opens is on the casino's own domain, not an unofficial mirror site.
You register. Use your real details; casinos verify them before any payout.
You see the offer tied to the link. Read the wagering, max cashout, minimum deposit and eligible games.
You deposit. The casino records the referral, and the affiliate may later earn commission.
You play and, if you win, withdraw under the casino's caps. The affiliate plays no part in this.
Worked example: under SlotoCash's published terms, a $100 first deposit with a 200% match adds $200, and 25x wagering on deposit plus bonus means $7,500 in bets before you can withdraw bonus winnings. The affiliate link doesn't change that figure; only the casino's terms do. Our mirror site glossary entry covers step one.
How to tell if you're reading an affiliate site
A disclosure mentioning commission, partners or paid links.
Offer boxes and 'claim bonus' buttons next to reviews.
Links that pass through a tracking domain before reaching the casino.
Rankings that only include certain brands.
None of these means the information is wrong. They mean you should look for sources, dates and balance, as our answer on why trust this site explains.
Responsible affiliates vs bad ones
A responsible affiliate tells you it's paid, explains the law in your state honestly, puts bonus terms in dollars, reports regulator actions against its own partners and promotes safer-gambling tools. A bad one hides commission, calls offshore casinos lawful everywhere, quotes codes without terms and pushes urgency.

We earn commission on the offers below. Slot Madness, SlotoCash and Decode are offshore casinos, not licensed or regulated by any US state, so check your state's law first. Offers are for new players, 21+ (18+ where allowed), and terms apply.

SlotoCash: $6,000 Welcome Bonus + 60 Free Spins, via our link (new players, 21+ or 18+ where allowed, terms apply). Its own terms set 25x on deposit plus bonus, a $20 minimum per bonus, a $10 max bet and no max cashout, and its site advertises a different package, so the terms at sign-up apply.

Frequently asked questions
What is a casino affiliate?
A casino affiliate is a website or publisher that a casino pays for referring new players, usually through tracking links in reviews and offers. The casino pays commission under its affiliate program, often as a revenue share, a one-off CPA fee or both. The affiliate never holds your money. Our offshore casino glossary entry explains the kind of casino most US affiliates promote.
Is this website an affiliate?
Yes. Best USA Casinos is an affiliate of seven offshore partner casinos: SlotoCash, Miami Club, Decode, Silver Oak, Planet 7, Royal Ace and Slot Madness. We earn commission when readers sign up through our links and play, and the partner order is set commercially by the site owner. Miami Club's terms (section 1.6) list the US as prohibited, while its affiliate program accepts US players; confirm at sign-up. Our page on how we rate casinos explains how that's disclosed.
What does 'affiliated casino' mean?
It means casinos linked by ownership, an operator or a shared platform, often called sister casinos. SlotoCash and Miami Club are widely reported as Deckmedia N.V. brands (Miami Club's section 1.6 terms list the US as prohibited, though its affiliate program accepts US players; confirm at sign-up), and an LCB forum thread groups Silver Oak, Planet 7, Royal Ace and Slot Madness. Sister brands may share terms and support. Read who owns Planet 7 Casino for an example of conflicting ownership reports.
Can an affiliate help me get my withdrawal paid?
Not directly. The casino holds your balance, runs verification and decides payouts, so an affiliate has no power to approve a withdrawal. You can tell the affiliate about a problem, and a responsible one will report patterns, but your complaint is with the casino. Our withdrawal guide explains the steps and the records to keep.
Do I get a better bonus through an affiliate?
Sometimes the offer is bigger or different, but bigger doesn't mean better. The offer via our link for Decode is $5,000 plus 50 free spins, while Decode's own site shows a $111 free chip and crypto bonus with no visible terms. Compare wagering and max cashout, not headlines. Our bonus expected-value guide shows how.
Are casino affiliates legal?
It depends on the state and the casinos promoted. Oklahoma's SB 1589, effective November 1, 2026, is reported in a bill summary to extend liability to media affiliates of online casino games. Michigan's regulator targets offshore operators with cease-and-desist letters. We don't show offers on Michigan, Oklahoma or Washington pages. Our state guide covers each state's law.
How do affiliates track that I came from them?
Through the tracking link. When you click an affiliate's offer, the link carries a code identifying that affiliate, and the casino records it against your new account. That's how the casino knows whom to pay. The link doesn't give the affiliate access to your account or funds. Our guide to casino account security covers protecting your login.
Why don't affiliate sites show casino offers in Washington?
Because Washington's law is unusually strict about online gambling, including the information around it. RCW 9.46.240 makes knowingly transmitting or receiving gambling information over the internet a class C felony, and the Washington State Gambling Commission says state law prohibits any online gambling. For that reason this site shows no casino offers on its Washington pages, as it does for Michigan and Oklahoma. Third-party reports also say Decode refuses Washington players. Washington's problem gambling helpline is 800-547-6133. Read online casinos in Washington and Washington gambling laws.
Do casino affiliates earn money when players lose?
Often, yes, because many affiliate deals are revenue share, a percentage of the casino's net revenue from the players an affiliate referred. When referred players lose, the casino's revenue rises and so does that commission. Other deals pay a one-off CPA fee after a condition such as a first deposit, whatever happens next. This site earns commission from its seven partners and says so on every offer. That conflict is exactly why an honest affiliate should show bonus terms in dollars and the law plainly. See our advertiser disclosure and how affiliate casino sites make money.
Does an affiliate link change my casino bonus terms?
It can change which offer you see, but the casino still writes and applies the terms. The offer via our Miami Club link is $4,000 plus 285 Bonus Games, for example, while Miami Club's own site publishes up to $800 over eight purchases at 20x deposit plus bonus. Whatever the headline, the wagering, max cashout and game rules shown at sign-up are what count, and the affiliate can't alter them later. Screenshot the terms on the day you claim. Our guides to how to claim a casino bonus and how to read casino terms show what to check.
What is the Deckmedia affiliate program?
It's the affiliate scheme linked to Deckmedia N.V., the company widely reported to own and operate SlotoCash and Miami Club. Miami Club's own support page says the site is part of the Deckmedia affiliate program, and StatsDrone's affiliate listing names Deckmedia N.V. and describes it as licensed by the Central Government of the Netherlands Antilles, a claim neither casino shows on its site. Being in the same program means the brands may share terms and processes. Neither casino is licensed by any US state. Read who owns SlotoCash and who owns Miami Club Casino.
Can I trust casino rankings on affiliate sites?
Treat them as commercial unless the site explains exactly how the order is set. On this site the partner order is set by the site owner and disclosed as commercial, not a test result, and we give no scores out of five. What you can check is the evidence: dated terms, sources for each figure, and whether regulator actions against the site's own partners are reported. A ranking that hides Michigan cease-and-desist actions, or calls offshore casinos legal everywhere, is a warning sign. Our pages on how we rate casinos and reading a casino review explain what to look for.
Is Royal Ace an affiliated casino of Silver Oak?
Third-party sources link them, but the ownership reports conflict. An LCB forum thread groups Silver Oak, Planet 7, Royal Ace and Slot Madness as sister brands, and Casino Guru names Primrose Media Limited as Royal Ace's operator, the same company Silver Oak's own terms name. AskGamblers instead names Emoney Processing Ltd., and LCB names Ace Revenue Group. Royal Ace doesn't publish its operator or license. Unlike Silver Oak, it appears in none of the three Michigan cease-and-desist releases. See who owns Royal Ace Casino and the Royal Ace review.
What should I do if an affiliate link opens an unofficial mirror site?
Close it and don't enter any details until you've confirmed the casino's real domain. Unofficial mirror sites copy a brand's look but aren't confirmed as the operator's own, and some publish bonus codes and terms that contradict independent sources. Check the domain against the casino's support emails, which reviewers list, such as help@planet7casino.com for Planet 7. Never deposit through a page you can't verify, because offshore deposits, especially crypto, are hard to recover. Our casino mirror sites guide and the answer to what a mirror site is explain how to tell them apart.
