Texas online casino bonuses all come from offshore casinos, because Texas doesn't license any online casino. The headline numbers look large, but the wagering requirement decides what a bonus is worth: a $200 match at 25x can mean $7,500 in bets before you can cash out. This page works through that math with published terms.
Every casino bonus available to Texans online comes from an offshore casino that Texas doesn't license or regulate.
SlotoCash's own terms set 25x (deposit + bonus) wagering and no max cashout on its welcome package.
Slot Madness's 275% match is reported at 30x (bonus + deposit) by third-party reviews; its own site couldn't be read.
At a typical 3.75% slot house edge, wagering usually eats most of a bonus balance, so treat bonuses as extra play time.
Bonuses are for slots; table games are usually excluded or count for little.

Texas online casino bonuses: what's actually on offer
Welcome matches, free spins, cashback, reloads and occasional free chips are the main bonus types Texans see. They all come from offshore casinos, since Texas has never licensed an online casino; the Texas online casinos hub explains the state's position. The two bonuses featured on this page belong to Slot Madness and SlotoCash.
Big headline numbers are marketing. What matters is the wagering requirement, the games that count, the max bet and any cap on winnings. A smaller bonus with fair terms can be worth more than a huge one with harsh terms, and sometimes the best choice is no bonus at all.
Are casino bonuses legal for players in Texas?
The bonus isn't the legal question; the casino is. Texas law doesn't authorize online casinos, so any bonus you see is from an offshore site that isn't licensed by Texas or any US state. Since September 1, 2025, the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation has run the lottery and charitable bingo, but it has no authority over offshore casinos or their promotions. Our page on Texas gambling laws has the detail.
That matters for bonus disputes. If a casino voids a bonus win under a clause you missed, there's no Texas agency to appeal to. Read the full terms before claiming, and keep a copy.

Casino adds a % of your deposit, often over several deposits
A wagering requirement, also called playthrough or rollover, is the total you must bet before bonus money and its winnings can be withdrawn. The base matters as much as the multiple: some casinos apply it to the bonus alone, others to deposit plus bonus, which roughly doubles or triples the total.
Find the base: bonus only, or deposit + bonus.
Multiply the base by the wagering multiple to get total bets required.
Check game weighting: if a game counts 10%, each $1 bet clears only $0.10.
Multiply total bets by the game's house edge for the expected cost of clearing.
Compare that cost with the bonus amount, and check any max cashout cap.
The house edge is what turns wagering into a cost. Sweet 16, a RealTime Gaming slot, has a reported RTP of 96.25%, so its house edge is 3.75%. We use that figure below. Our guide to wagering requirements explained goes through more cases.
Worked example: a $100 deposit at each featured casino
Here's the math for a Houston player depositing $100 and playing slots with a 3.75% house edge. It shows the average outcome, not a prediction; real sessions vary widely.

Total bets required
$300 × 25 = $7,500
$375 × 30 = $11,250
Expected loss at 3.75%
$7,500 × 3.75% = $281.25
$11,250 × 3.75% = $421.88
Average balance left after wagering
$300 − $281.25 = $18.75
$375 − $421.88 = below zero
On average, the SlotoCash bonus leaves about $18.75 of a $300 balance after wagering, and the Slot Madness bonus is expected to run out before wagering is complete. Some players do finish with more, because slots are volatile, but the bonus mostly buys longer play rather than extra value. That's the honest way to see any casino bonus. Eligible games, max bets and expiry
SlotoCash's welcome terms limit bonus play to slots, Real-Series video slots (excluding progressive jackpot slots), keno and scratch cards, and they say play on other games voids promotion winnings. Its general terms exclude progressive jackpots, video poker, table games and specialty games by default. The max bet while a bonus is active is $10 per spin.
For Slot Madness, third-party reviews say the 275% welcome counts on slots and keno. Its expiry, max bet and the game for its 50 spins aren't confirmed. Any bonus at either casino should be treated as slots-only unless the terms at sign-up say otherwise.
Expiry differs too. SlotoCash's welcome terms don't state one, while its general bonus terms give 90 days from redemption. Our game weighting explained guide and bonus expiry page cover these rules in depth.
SlotoCash bonus codes for its five-deposit package
SlotoCash's own site advertises $7,777 plus 300 spins over five deposits, which differs from the offer via our link. These are the codes it publishes. Codes change, so check the cashier before you deposit.

Slot Madness bonus terms: what reviewers report
Slot Madness's own site couldn't be read, so every term here comes from third-party reviews and should be checked at sign-up. LCB lists a 275% match up to $2,750 with code MAD275, a $30 minimum deposit, 30x (bonus + deposit) on slots and no max cashout. Casino.guru calls the same match “unlimited” and adds 50 extra spins and a $25 no deposit bonus, without stating wagering.
Esports.gg lists further codes, including PROGRESSIVE100, a 100% match for progressive jackpot games with a 10x max cashout, and MAD160, a 160% slots-and-keno match it claims has no wagering. We haven't been able to confirm that claim, so treat it with caution. Our Slot Madness welcome bonus page tracks the conflicts.
How to claim a casino bonus from Texas
Read the full bonus terms: wagering base and multiple, eligible games, max bet, max cashout and expiry.
Work out the total bets required with the formula above and decide whether it fits your budget.
Sign up with your real details; mismatched details can void bonuses at withdrawal.
Enter the code in the cashier before or right after depositing, as the terms require.
Play only eligible games and stay under the max bet per spin.
Track your wagering progress in the cashier, and don't request a withdrawal until it's complete.
Terms that conflict across pages, such as SlotoCash's 25x welcome rule versus its 30x default. Ask support which applies, in writing.
A max cashout cap that limits what you can withdraw, common on no deposit and some reload codes.
A max bet rule that's easy to break by accident.
Claims of “no wagering” that appear only on review sites, not in the casino's own terms.
Pressure to deposit quickly to keep a code; codes rotate, and there's always another promotion.
A bonus is never cash in hand: it comes with conditions, and the house edge applies to every bet you make to clear them. Our list of bonus terms red flags covers more examples.
Keeping bonus play within a budget
Wagering requirements can push you to bet more than you planned. Decide your total spend before claiming, and stop when it's gone, whether or not wagering is finished. Texas's state helpline isn't confirmed in our sources; the National Problem Gambling Helpline, run by NCPG, answers at 1-800-MY-RESET (1-800-697-3738), with chat on NCPG's help page (opens in a new tab). Our gambling budget guide can help you set limits.

Frequently asked questions
What casino bonuses can Texas players get?
Texans can claim welcome matches, free spins, reloads, cashback and occasional no deposit chips, all from offshore casinos, because Texas doesn't license online casinos. The offers featured here are Slot Madness and SlotoCash. Each comes with wagering, eligible-game and max-bet rules, so the headline figure isn't what you can withdraw. Compare more options on our best welcome bonus casinos list and read the Texas hub for the legal picture.
How do wagering requirements work?
A wagering requirement is the total you must bet before bonus funds can be withdrawn. Multiply the base by the multiple: at SlotoCash, a $100 deposit with a $200 bonus at 25x (deposit + bonus) means $7,500 in bets. Multiply that by the house edge to see the expected cost; at 3.75%, it's $281.25. Our bonus wagering requirements page works through more examples.
Can Texas players use a casino bonus on blackjack or roulette?
Generally no, at the offshore casinos open to Texans. At SlotoCash, the welcome terms allow slots, keno and scratch cards and say play on other games voids promotion winnings; its default terms exclude table games and video poker. Reviews of Slot Madness say its welcome counts on slots and keno. Table games are usually excluded or weighted at a small fraction. Read the terms before playing anything but slots, and see our table games bonus page for how weighting works.
What is the max bet with a casino bonus?
It's the largest single bet allowed while bonus funds are active. SlotoCash's welcome terms set $10 per spin. Going over it, even once, can let the casino void the bonus and winnings, and member complaints on review sites include an account locked after a big win over a disputed max-bet breach. Slot Madness's max bet isn't confirmed. Check the figure before your first spin, and read our bonus abuse rules page for the other clauses that can void a win.
Are Texas casino bonus codes real?
The codes on this page come from the casinos' own sites or named third-party reviews. SlotoCash publishes SLOTO1MATCH through SLOTO5MATCH for its five-deposit package; reviewers list MAD275 for Slot Madness. Codes rotate and expire, and review sites sometimes carry stale ones, so check the cashier before you deposit. Never use a code from an unofficial mirror site. Our guide to bonus codes that work explains how to check one.
Is a 275% casino bonus worth it?
Usually not in pure dollar terms. At Slot Madness, a $100 deposit with a $275 bonus at a reported 30x (bonus + deposit) means $11,250 in bets; at a 3.75% house edge, the expected cost is $421.88, more than the $375 balance. Bigger percentages often mean bigger wagering totals. Treat a large match as extra playing time, not value. See our low wagering bonus page for offers with smaller rollovers.
Do casino bonuses have a max cashout?
Some do. SlotoCash states no max cashout on its welcome package, and LCB reports none on Slot Madness's 275% match. Other offers are capped: esports.gg reports a 10x max cashout on Slot Madness's PROGRESSIVE100 code, and no deposit chips usually carry tight limits. A cap limits what you can withdraw no matter how much you win. Read our max cashout rules page before claiming any capped bonus.
Should Texas players take a bonus or play without one?
For Texas players, it depends on the goal. A bonus gives you more to play with but locks your balance until wagering is done, and the house edge applies to every wager. Playing without one lets you withdraw whenever you choose, subject to the casino's caps and KYC. If quick access to winnings matters, skip it. If you want longer play on slots and accept the terms, a bonus can suit. See Texas real money casinos for the banking side.
Are sweepstakes casino bonuses legal in Texas?
Texas has no sweepstakes casino ban on record as of October 2026, so sign-up coin packages remain available from brands that accept Texans. A ban bill, SB 517, passed the Texas Senate and was received in the House on May 8, 2025, but it didn't advance, according to a third-party tracker. That isn't the same as state approval: no Texas agency licenses sweepstakes casinos, and their Sweeps Coin bonuses aren't real-money casino bonuses in the legal sense. Our Texas sweepstakes casinos page covers brands and exclusions, and what are Sweeps Coins explains the currency.
Does SlotoCash give free spins to Texas players?
SlotoCash's own site attaches free spins to each of its five welcome codes: 100 with SLOTO1MATCH and 50 with each of the next four, on named slots such as Egyptian Gold and Sweet 16. The offer via our link is $6,000 plus 60 free spins, so the terms shown at sign-up apply. Spin winnings become bonus funds with wagering, and SlotoCash isn't licensed by Texas or any US state. Players in Houston, San Antonio or Dallas should read the spin game and wagering before claiming. Our SlotoCash free spins page and how free spins work answer go further.
What is the minimum deposit for a casino bonus in Texas?
For the two offers here, it's $20 to $30. SlotoCash's own welcome terms set a $20 minimum per bonus deposit, though its cashier lists $25 for cards and Bitcoin, and third-party reviews report $30 for Slot Madness's MAD275 code. Some SlotoCash reloads set higher minimums, such as $100 for SUPERCASTLE as listed on October 28, 2026. Depositing below the bonus minimum usually means no bonus. Codes and minimums change, so check before paying. Our $20 deposit casinos list and minimum deposit answer compare more partners.
Do I pay tax on casino bonus winnings in Texas?
Yes, winnings from bonus play are gambling income for federal tax once you withdraw them, even from an offshore casino. Under the IRS W-2G instructions, slot wins of $2,000 or more are reportable for 2026, and slot wins carry no regular withholding. Offshore casinos often send no form, so keep your own dated records. From the 2026 tax year, the loss deduction is reportedly capped at 90% of losses and only up to gains; check IRS guidance. Our do I pay tax on casino winnings answer and gambling taxes guide explain the rules.
Can I get a Bitcoin casino bonus in Texas?
Yes, some offshore casinos run crypto-specific bonuses. SlotoCash's promotions page listed BLOCKFALL-1, a 100% crypto match plus $50 free with a $25 minimum and 27x wagering, as of October 28, 2026; codes rotate, so confirm it in the cashier. SlotoCash takes Bitcoin, Bitcoin Lightning, Litecoin, Bitcoin Cash and Ethereum deposits, but pays out by Bitcoin only. Crypto deposits can't be reversed, and the casino isn't licensed by Texas. Our Texas crypto casinos page covers the coins and caps, and Bitcoin bonus guide explains typical terms.
What can I do if an offshore casino voids my bonus win in Texas?
Ask the casino's support, in writing, which rule it says you broke, and keep screenshots of the terms, your balance and every reply. Common causes are a bet over the max, such as SlotoCash's $10 per spin, an excluded game, or a missed expiry. No Texas agency can step in: the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation oversees the lottery and charitable bingo, not offshore casinos. Third-party complaint services exist but can't force a payout. Our why was my bonus removed answer and how to file a casino complaint guide set out the steps.
