Online Bonus Deuces Wild is Deuces Wild video poker with extra pay for five of a kind: five aces pays the most, then five 3s, 4s or 5s. SlotCatalog lists RealTime Gaming's version at a 99.15% RTP (third-party), and a common full-pay table returns about 99.45% with perfect play, computed for standard rules.
All four 2s are wild, and three of a kind is the lowest paying hand.
Five of a kind is split by rank: five aces pays 80, five 3s–5s 40 and five 6s–Ks 20 on common tables.
RTG's version is listed at 99.15% RTP by SlotCatalog (third-party); its exact pay table isn't published in our sources.
On common tables a plain four of a kind pays only 4, which makes the game swingier than regular Deuces Wild.

What is online Bonus Deuces Wild?
It's a five-card draw video poker game in which every 2 is wild and can stand in for any card. Because wild cards make big hands common, the pay table starts at three of a kind rather than a pair of jacks. The "Bonus" in the name refers to five of a kind, which pays more for aces and low ranks than for middle ranks.
SlotCatalog's RTG catalog (opens in a new tab), a third-party database, lists RealTime Gaming's Bonus Deuces Wild as released on July 10, 2015, with a 99.15% RTP. It gives no maximum win and no volatility rating. The pay-table math on this page uses a common Bonus Deuces Wild table and says so wherever it does.
Bonus Deuces Wild pay table: the five-of-a-kind ladder
Pay tables for this game vary more than for most video poker. The version below is a common one, described by its straight flush, four of a kind, full house and flush pays as 9/4/4/3. Some versions also pay extra for four deuces with an ace.

Two things stand out. Four of a kind pays only 4, against 5 on full-pay regular Deuces Wild, and straights and trips merely push. Much of the return is moved into the five-of-a-kind and four-deuce lines, which is why this is a higher-variance game.
RTG's own pay table isn't published in the sources we checked, and the reported 99.15% doesn't match any of the common tables we computed. Read the paytable screen in the game before you bet.

Cutting the full house from 4 to 3 costs about 2.5 points of return, because full houses land far more often than any big hand. Dropping the four-deuces-with-ace bonus costs about 0.55 points. For comparison, full-pay regular Deuces Wild returns about 100.76%, computed for standard rules, with a standard deviation of about 5.08.
The reported 99.15% for RTG's game sits between our 9/4/4/3 figures, so its table probably differs in at least one line. That's another reason to check the paytable rather than trust any outside number. Our RTP explainer covers what return figures do and don't tell you.
Bonus Deuces Wild odds: what the first five cards bring
There are 2,598,960 possible five-card deals. With four wild cards in the deck, big hands turn up on the deal far more often than in Jacks or Better. These counts are exact.

With optimal draws on the 9/4/4/3 table, about 56% of hands still end with nothing, and three of a kind is the most common result at roughly 28% of hands (computed). Five aces finishes about once every 3,000 hands. These are averages over millions of hands; a session of a few hundred can look nothing like them.

The four-ace hands are the surprise. With no deuce, a dealt four of a kind in aces pays only 4, but drawing one card gives four chances in 47 to catch a deuce for five aces at 80. That averages about $10.47 per $1 bet. The same logic applies to a deuce plus three aces.
Four deuces and a non-ace is the other unusual play on tables that pay 400 for an ace kicker. Drawing one card keeps the 200 and adds a 4-in-47 shot at 400. On a table without that line, keep all five.
Never discard a deuce.
With no deuces, keep three of a kind, two pair, four to a royal or a made straight or better; where two of these overlap, check a strategy chart.
With one deuce, keep four of a kind or better before chasing a royal.
With nothing useful, draw five new cards rather than keep a single high card; face cards don't count in this game.

How to play Bonus Deuces Wild online
Open the paytable and note the straight flush, four of a kind, full house and flush pays, and whether four deuces with an ace pays extra.
Choose a coin value so a five-coin bet fits your session budget, because the natural royal only pays 800 per coin at five coins.
Deal, then count the deuces before looking at anything else.
Hold according to that count, using the examples above as a guide.
Draw once and collect any win. Three of a kind or better pays.
Skip any double-up feature unless you've read how it works; it only adds variance.
Wild-card video poker has a low house edge, so casinos often exclude it from bonuses or count it at higher multiples. Check the eligible-games list and the weighting before you opt in; bonus game weighting explains the mechanics.
Silver Oak's own offer page sets 60x wagering for video poker, without saying whether that applies to the bonus alone or to deposit plus bonus. On a $100 deposit with a $100 bonus, 60x the total would be $12,000 of play. At the computed 0.55% edge that's an expected loss of about $66; at RTG's reported 0.85% edge, about $102. If the multiple applies to the bonus only, halve those numbers.
Third-party reports describe a Slot Madness code, MAD125, that covers all games including video poker at 40x with no max cashout, and Blockonomi reports Planet 7 free chips carry 60x on video poker with a $100 max withdrawal. These are third-party reports, so confirm them in the cashier. A bonus never removes the house edge, and its terms can void winnings. See video poker bonuses.

Regular Deuces Wild spreads its return across common hands, so sessions run smoother. The bonus version pays more for fives and less for straights and quads, so it suits players who accept long gaps for a shot at five aces. Players who prefer jokers can compare Joker Poker, and Sevens Wild is listed at a much lower 93.15% RTP by SlotCatalog.
Is online Bonus Deuces Wild legal in the US?
Online video poker for real money is state-licensed only in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Michigan, West Virginia, Delaware, Connecticut and Rhode Island. Maine legalized tribal online casinos in January 2026, but none had launched by October 2026. Elsewhere, no state licenses online casinos.

Frequently asked questions
What is the RTP of Bonus Deuces Wild?
SlotCatalog lists RealTime Gaming's Bonus Deuces Wild at 99.15%, a third-party figure. A common 9/4/4/3 table that pays 400 for four deuces with an ace returns about 99.45% with perfect play, computed for standard rules, while weaker tables fall below 97%. Because pay tables vary, check the one on screen. Our house edge guide shows how to turn a return figure into dollars.
What does five aces pay in Bonus Deuces Wild?
Five aces pays 80 per coin on common tables, which is 400 coins on a five-coin bet. Five 3s, 4s or 5s usually pays 40 per coin and five 6s through kings 20. You need at least one deuce to make five of a kind, since there are only four aces in the deck. Compare that with the flat 15 for any five of a kind in full-pay Deuces Wild.
Should I hold four aces without a deuce in Bonus Deuces Wild?
Hold the four aces but draw a new fifth card. Kept as dealt, the hand pays only 4 for four of a kind. Drawing one card gives four chances in 47 to hit a deuce and make five aces, which pays 80, so the average return is about $10.47 per $1 bet, computed for the 9/4/4/3 table. Our video poker strategy guide covers more unusual holds.
What is the lowest winning hand in Bonus Deuces Wild?
Three of a kind is the lowest paying hand, and on common tables it only returns your bet. Wild deuces make pairs and two pair so easy to build that they pay nothing. That's the main adjustment for players coming from Jacks or Better, where a pair of jacks pays. With optimal play, about 28% of hands finish as three of a kind on the 9/4/4/3 table (computed).
Is Bonus Deuces Wild better than Deuces Wild?
Usually not on return. Full-pay Deuces Wild returns about 100.76% against about 99.45% for a common Bonus Deuces Wild table, both computed for standard rules. Bonus Deuces Wild also swings more, because it pays less for four of a kind and straights and more for five of a kind. RTG's reported figures are 97%–99% for its Deuces Wild and 99.15% for Bonus Deuces Wild. See what volatility means.
Can you beat Bonus Deuces Wild?
No. Every common table we computed returns less than 100% even with perfect play, so the house keeps an edge over time. Good strategy only lowers the cost. Betting systems, timing and hand patterns don't change the odds, because each deal comes from a random number generator. If you treat it as paid entertainment with a fixed budget, you'll stay in control; deposit limits can help.
Do casino bonuses count on Bonus Deuces Wild?
Only if the terms allow video poker. Many welcome offers exclude it; SlotoCash's own terms exclude video poker from its welcome bonus, for example. Silver Oak's offer page sets 60x for video poker, and third-party reports describe a Slot Madness all-games code at 40x. Playing an excluded game can void your bonus winnings. Read video poker bonuses first.
How often do you get four deuces in Bonus Deuces Wild?
On the deal, four deuces arrive in 48 of 2,598,960 hands, about once every 54,000 deals. With optimal holds on the 9/4/4/3 table, the final hand is four deuces about once every 5,450 hands, including roughly one in 36,000 with an ace, computed for standard rules. Those are long-run averages, not predictions. The gambler's fallacy guide explains why.
What does a natural royal flush pay in Bonus Deuces Wild?
On the common 9/4/4/3 table, a natural royal flush with no deuces pays 800 per coin, or $2,000 on a five-coin $2.50 bet. That top rate only applies when you bet all five coins, so a smaller coin count costs you part of the game's return. A natural royal is dealt about once in 649,740 hands before any draw, which makes it the rarest result on the pay table. RTG's own table isn't published in our sources, so check the paytable screen. Our royal flush glossary entry and the bet max explainer cover the five-coin rule.
What is a wild royal flush in Bonus Deuces Wild?
A wild royal flush is a 10-J-Q-K-A in one suit that uses at least one deuce as a stand-in card. It pays 25 per coin on the common table, which is $62.50 on a $2.50 bet, far below the 800 per coin for a natural royal. Wild royals are much more common: about one in 5,415 deals arrives as one before the draw, computed for a standard deck. That's why you should never throw away a deuce to chase a natural royal. Read our guide to how to play video poker and the Deuces Wild strategy notes for related holds.
Can I play Bonus Deuces Wild on my phone?
Yes, you'd play RTG video poker in a mobile browser at the casinos on this page, not through an app. Silver Oak's own mobile page describes browser play on iPhone, Android and tablets, and third-party reviews report no-app browser play at Planet 7 and Slot Madness. None of our sources names Bonus Deuces Wild in those lobbies, so search the video poker section after logging in. On a small screen, double-check which cards are marked held before you tap draw. See our mobile casino guide and the best mobile casinos list for more.
How big a bankroll do I need for Bonus Deuces Wild?
Plan for big swings, because the game's standard deviation is about 5.72 bets per hand on the common table, computed for standard rules. Over 500 hands at $2.50, one standard deviation is roughly $320, against an expected loss of only about $6.87 at the computed 0.55% edge. In other words, the luck of the session matters far more than the edge in the short run. Even a budget of several hundred bets can run out before five aces (about once every 3,000 hands) or four deuces (about once every 5,450) arrives. Our bankroll management guide and what is a good bankroll answer show how to size it.
How fast can I withdraw a four-deuces win from Bonus Deuces Wild?
It depends on the casino's weekly cap and processing time. Four deuces with an ace pays 400 per coin, so a $10 bet ($2 coins) wins $4,000. Silver Oak's terms set a weekly limit starting at $2,500, so that win would take at least two weekly payouts, after a review of 7 to 10 business days and payment of 7 to 10 more. Third-party reviewers report a $2,500 weekly cap at Slot Madness too. Bonus max cashout rules can reduce the amount further. Read weekly withdrawal limits and what to do after a big win.
Is online Bonus Deuces Wild legal in Washington state?
No, Washington law prohibits online gambling, and the state treats it more seriously than most. Under RCW 9.46.240, knowingly transmitting or receiving gambling information over the internet is a class C felony, and the Washington State Gambling Commission has sent cease-and-desist letters to offshore sites. There's no state-licensed online video poker in Washington, and offshore casinos aren't licensed by any US state. The Evergreen Council on Problem Gambling helpline is 800-547-6133.
