Silver Oak Casino video poker runs on RealTime Gaming software, and RTG’s catalog includes Jacks or Better, Deuces Wild, Bonus Poker and jackpot variants with published returns between 93.15% and 99.54%. Here’s what each variant is, how to read its pay table before you bet, and why Silver Oak’s 60x video poker wagering makes bonuses an expensive way to play.
Silver Oak names RealTime Gaming as its software; it doesn’t publish its own video poker list or pay tables.
Third-party RTP figures for RTG video poker run from 99.54% (Jacks or Better) down to 93.15% (Sevens Wild).
The casino sets 60x wagering for video poker on bonus funds, against 30x or 40x on slots.
Silver Oak is offshore and was named in Michigan’s April 9, 2025 cease-and-desist release.
Silver Oak Casino video poker: the short version
Video poker at Silver Oak is RTG software: you’re dealt five cards, choose which to hold, draw replacements, and are paid according to the game’s pay table. The casino’s mobile casino page (opens in a new tab) names RealTime Gaming, and both its offer page and its terms set a separate 60x wagering rate for video poker.
What Silver Oak doesn’t publish is a list of its video poker games or their pay tables. The variants and returns on this page come from third-party game databases covering RTG’s catalog, so confirm a game is in the lobby, and read its pay table, before you play.
Video poker returns depend on the pay table and on how well you play. A published RTP is the long-run return for correct holds; mistakes lower it.
RTG video poker variants you may find at Silver Oak
Third-party game databases list 14 RealTime Gaming video poker titles, shown below, and a third-party reviewer of Planet 7, a sister RTG casino, counts 14 variants in that lobby. Silver Oak may carry fewer or more; check the casino’s lobby.

The spread matters. On paper, the best and worst games on that list differ by more than six percentage points of return, which is a large gap for games that look almost identical on screen. Our game pages for Jacks or Better, Deuces Wild and Loose Deuces explain the hand rankings for each.
How to read a Silver Oak video poker pay table
The pay table is the grid of payouts on the game screen, usually shown for one to five coins. It’s the single best guide to a game’s value, and you can read it before you risk anything. Because neither Silver Oak nor our third-party sources publish RTG’s full pay tables, here is a method rather than a list of numbers.
Open the game and set the coin count you intend to play, so the pay table shows the right column.
Look at the royal flush row: many games pay a disproportionately large amount only at maximum coins.
Note the full house and flush payouts per coin; these mid-tier hands drive most of the difference between versions of the same game.
For wild-card games, check the payouts for five of a kind and the minimum paying hand.
Compare the same variant across casinos if you can; a lower payout on any common hand means a lower return.
Write the payouts down or take a screenshot for your own records before you start.
The sources disagree on Jacks or Better’s top prize: one lists 800x, another 4,000x. Since 4,000 divided by five coins is 800, the two may describe the same royal flush in different units, but the sources don’t say. The in-game pay table settles it. For the idea behind “full pay” tables, read our full pay glossary entry.
Video poker strategy at Silver Oak: what it can and can’t do
Video poker is one of the few casino games where your decisions change the return. Holding the right cards gets you close to the published RTP; poor holds can cost several percentage points. A strategy chart for the exact variant and pay table is the tool to use, and our video poker strategy guide explains how to follow one.
Strategy doesn’t turn a game in your favor. Even at 99.54%, the house keeps 0.46% of everything staked over time. There are no hot or due machines: each hand is dealt by the RNG from a fresh deck, independent of the last.
Double-or-nothing and gamble features
Third-party sources say Jacks or Better and Aces and Eights include a double-or-nothing option, and Loose Deuces a gamble feature. These let you risk a win for the chance to double it. They raise the swings in your session and add risk to money you’ve already won, so check the feature’s rules in the game’s help screen and decline it if you’d rather bank the win.
What Silver Oak video poker costs per session in dollars
Expected loss is total stake multiplied by the house edge. Video poker hands are quick, so the total adds up. The table assumes 400 hands at $1 each, or $400 staked; that pace is an illustration, not a measured figure.

Those figures assume correct play. Video poker also has large, rare payouts, so most sessions finish below the average while an occasional royal flush pulls it up. Losses are the likely outcome over time; set your budget with that in mind. Our casino math basics guide shows the formula step by step.
Silver Oak video poker bonus rules and 60x wagering
Silver Oak’s new member offer page (opens in a new tab) sets 30x playthrough on its welcome package but 60x on blackjack and video poker. The casino’s terms say 40x on slots and 60x on table games and video poker, so the slot figure conflicts while the video poker rate is the same in both places. The terms also exclude progressives from bonus play, which may cover jackpot video poker variants; ask support before using bonus funds on them.
Worked example: a $50 bonus on Jacks or Better
At 60x, a $50 bonus needs $3,000 of wagering if the multiple applies to the bonus alone. At 99.54% RTP, the expected cost of that play is $3,000 × 0.46% = $13.80, leaving an expected value of about $36 before variance. If the multiple applies to deposit plus bonus on a $50 deposit, wagering doubles to $6,000 and the expected cost to $27.60. The published summary doesn’t state the base, so check the terms shown at sign-up.
Silver Oak also lists a cash-back offer on deposits over $1,000 made without a bonus: 30%, 40% or 50% depending on the amount, at 30x, credited on Mondays. Read the Silver Oak welcome bonus page and our video poker bonus guide before choosing either route.
Jackpot video poker at Silver Oak
Two RTG titles add a progressive jackpot to the standard game: Double Double Jackpot Poker (98.98% published RTP) and Double Jackpot Poker (RTP not published). Third-party databases list both with a progressive feature but don’t explain how the jackpot is triggered or funded, so read the game’s help screen.
Silver Oak video poker vs slots and tables: cost per $1,000
Video poker's main appeal at Silver Oak is price. The table puts the best and worst published RTG video poker figures next to the casino's other games, using third-party RTPs and the same $1,000 of total wagers. The bonus column shows the casino's own wagering rate or exclusion.

Choosing Jacks or Better over Sevens Wild saves about $64 per $1,000 wagered, more than the gap between video poker and slots. Is Silver Oak legit for video poker in the USA?
Silver Oak is offshore. Its terms name Primrose Media Limited and an Anjouan license with no number shown; one third-party reviewer lists “No license” and mentions Costa Rica, and reports slow payments. No US state licenses or regulates the casino, so there is no state regulator to take a complaint and no state protection for your balance.
Fast hands make video poker easy to overplay. Silver Oak’s terms list deposit limits, cool-off periods and self-exclusion through live chat. The steps to set them are on Silver Oak responsible gambling, and our bankroll management guide shows how to size a session.
If you’re worried about your gambling, call or text 1-800-MY-RESET (1-800-697-3738), the National Problem Gambling Helpline run by the National Council on Problem Gambling (opens in a new tab), or use its online chat. Gamblers Anonymous and blocking tools like Gamban and BetBlocker are also available.

Frequently asked questions
What video poker games does Silver Oak Casino have?
Silver Oak doesn’t publish a list, but it runs RealTime Gaming software, and RTG’s video poker catalog includes Jacks or Better, Deuces Wild, Bonus Deuces Wild, Loose Deuces, Aces and Eights, All American Poker, Bonus Poker, Double Bonus, Double Double Bonus, Joker Poker, Sevens Wild and two jackpot variants. Check the casino’s lobby to confirm which are live. Our guide on how to play video poker covers the basics, and Bonus Deuces Wild explains one of the higher-return variants.
Which Silver Oak video poker game has the best RTP?
Jacks or Better has the highest published figure, 99.54%, according to a third-party source. Bonus Deuces Wild (99.15%) and Loose Deuces (99.07%) follow. These returns assume correct strategy and the standard RTG pay table, and Silver Oak doesn’t publish its own figures, so read the in-game pay table before you play. Over $1,000 of play at 99.54%, the expected loss is $4.60. See Jacks or Better and our what is RTP entry for more.
Does video poker count toward the Silver Oak bonus?
Yes, but at a higher 60x wagering rate. Both Silver Oak’s offer page and its terms set 60x for video poker, against 30x or 40x for slots (the two pages conflict on the slot figure). Progressives are excluded entirely, which may include jackpot video poker variants. On a $100 bonus, 60x means $6,000 of wagering if it applies to the bonus alone. Compare offers on our video poker bonus page and read Silver Oak bonus codes for the published codes.
Are Silver Oak video poker pay tables full pay?
The casino doesn’t say. Silver Oak publishes no pay tables, and our third-party sources give RTPs rather than full payout grids, so you need to check the pay table on the game screen. Look at the full house and flush payouts per coin and compare them with the same variant elsewhere; a lower payout on a common hand means a lower return. Our full pay glossary entry explains the term, and video poker strategy shows how pay tables change correct play.
Is there a progressive jackpot on Silver Oak video poker?
RTG makes two video poker games with a progressive jackpot, Double Double Jackpot Poker and Double Jackpot Poker, according to third-party databases. Whether Silver Oak’s lobby carries them, and how big the meter is, isn’t published, so check the lobby. Silver Oak’s terms exclude progressives from welcome bonus play. Large wins are also subject to the casino’s $2,500 weekly withdrawal cap. Read our progressive jackpots explained guide and Silver Oak withdrawals page.
Can you win at Silver Oak video poker in the long run?
No. Even the best RTG game on record returns 99.54%, so the house keeps a small share of every dollar staked over time. Short sessions can end in profit, but the edge means losses are likely the longer you play. Correct strategy narrows the gap; it doesn’t close it, and no machine is ever due to pay. Treat video poker as paid entertainment and set a budget. Our house edge entry and gambling budget guide explain how.
Can I play Silver Oak video poker on mobile?
Yes, in the browser. Silver Oak’s mobile page describes instant play for iPhone, Android and tablets, plus a downloadable Windows client, and lists no separate app. It doesn’t say which video poker titles appear on mobile, so check the lobby on your device. Our Silver Oak mobile casino page covers setup and limits, and the mobile casino guide explains browser play in general.
Is Silver Oak Casino legal for video poker players in the US?
State law decides that, and no US state licenses Silver Oak. It’s an offshore casino whose terms cite an Anjouan license, and Michigan’s regulator named it in an April 9, 2025 cease-and-desist release. Some states have specific laws on online gambling, so check yours. Our is online gambling legal in the US page explains federal and state rules, and is Silver Oak legit covers the casino’s record.
What is the minimum bet on Silver Oak video poker?
Silver Oak doesn't publish coin sizes or bet limits for its video poker, so the minimum has to be read inside each game. RTG pay tables are usually shown for one to five coins, and many games pay a much larger royal flush only at maximum coins, so check that column before choosing a smaller bet. The published figure that does matter is the $30 minimum deposit. Our low stakes guide explains how to size hands so a small deposit lasts.
What happens to a big video poker win at Silver Oak?
It pays out in stages. Silver Oak's terms cap withdrawals at $2,500 a week to start, with higher limits at VIP levels, and let pending requests reach four times the weekly limit. A $4,000 win would therefore take at least two weekly payments, each after a 7 to 10 business day review and up to 10 more business days for payment. Verify your ID first, because no withdrawal is paid until KYC is done. Our guide on what to do after a big win covers taxes and records.
Does Silver Oak video poker earn comp points?
Silver Oak runs comp points worth $1 per 100 points, and they expire after 12 months, according to its promotions pages. What isn't published is how many points each game earns, so it isn't clear whether video poker earns at the same rate as slots. Ask support before you count on comps to offset your play. At the published redemption rate, 1,000 points are worth $10. Our Silver Oak VIP program page covers the tiers, and the comp points guide explains how comps usually work.
Can I use the Silver Oak cash back offer on video poker?
The game rules for it aren't published, so ask support first. Silver Oak lists cash back on deposits over $1,000 made without a bonus: 30% for $1,001 to $5,000, 40% for $5,001 to $10,000 and 50% above that, with 30x playthrough and credit on Mondays at 00:01 EST. If the 30x applies on video poker, that's lighter than its 60x welcome rate. Our cashback bonus guide shows how to value this type of offer.
How does Silver Oak video poker compare with Planet 7?
Both run RealTime Gaming, so the variants and published returns are largely the same. A third-party reviewer counts 14 video poker variants at Planet 7, including Deuces Wild and Jacks or Better, while Silver Oak publishes no list. The bigger difference is the bonus: Silver Oak's own terms set 60x on video poker, while Planet 7's reported welcome terms are 30x deposit plus bonus on slots with a $1,000 max cashout, from third-party sources. See Planet 7 video poker for its lineup.
