Is McLuck legit? It's a real sweepstakes brand that names its operator, B-Two Operations Limited in the Isle of Man, and publishes dated terms, but it isn't licensed by any US state. Its terms exclude 16 states, it left Oklahoma on November 1, 2026, and regulators in Maryland and Illinois have sent it letters, so whether it suits you depends on where you live.

Key takeaways

  • McLuck's terms name B-Two Operations Limited, Isle of Man (reg. 021483V).
  • It runs on the sweepstakes model, with no US state casino license.
  • Terms v2.6 (October 14, 2026) exclude 16 states; an older help page lists a different set.
  • Maryland and Illinois regulators have sent letters naming McLuck, per trade press.
  • Advertised redemptions take 1–5 days, from 10 SC for gift cards and 75 SC for cash.

Is McLuck legit? A short verdict

McLuck checks several basic boxes for a legitimate business. It names a registered company and address in its terms, keeps versioned terms with dates, lists apps on major app stores according to third-party reviews, and has operated since 2023.

What it doesn't have is a US state gaming license, because it says it isn't a casino at all. It runs on the sweepstakes model. Some states accept that model for now, others have banned it, and two regulators have sent McLuck letters. "Legit" as a company and "lawful where you live" are separate questions.

For games, apps and coins, see our McLuck review. The rest of this page looks at ownership, the legal model and the enforcement record.

Who owns McLuck? B-Two Operations Limited in the Isle of Man

McLuck's own Terms of Service name the operator as B-Two Operations Limited, Third Floor, 34 Hope Street, Douglas, Isle of Man IM1 1AP, registration number 021483V.

A third-party review instead names B2Services OÜ. Materials from Hello Millions describe that company as the group's payment services agent, which suggests the two names cover different roles rather than a contradiction. Where the two differ, the operator in McLuck's own terms is the one to rely on. Our Hello Millions review covers the related brand.

A named operator with a company number is a good sign of transparency. It is not a license: the Isle of Man address doesn't mean any US regulator oversees McLuck.

McLuck's sweepstakes model, and why it isn't a licensed casino

McLuck uses Gold Coins, which are for play and can't be redeemed, and Sweeps Coins, which come free with Gold Coin purchases or through free routes and can be redeemed for prizes. Its terms describe this as a sweepstakes model, not real-money gambling.

The argument goes like this: since anyone can get Sweeps Coins without paying, the brand says it's running a promotion rather than a game of chance for money. Several states have rejected that view for dual-currency sites and banned them. New York's S5935-A, for example, covers operating, promoting or profiting from these games, with fines of $10,000 to $100,000 per violation, per the New York Senate (opens in a new tab).

Our explainer on whether sweepstakes casinos are legal sets out both sides, and the social casino guide covers sites that offer no prizes at all.

McLuck excluded states: terms v2.6 vs the old help page

McLuck publishes its exclusions, but two of its own pages disagree. The Terms of Service v2.6, dated October 14, 2026, are the newer and more specific source.

Count them and the terms list 16 states, while the help page lists 10, two of which (Georgia and Alabama) aren't in the terms. Treat the dated terms as the stronger source, and if you live in Georgia or Alabama, check McLuck's current position before signing up.

California's AB 831 ban on dual-currency sweepstakes took effect January 1, 2026, even though California isn't on the terms list as a full exclusion. See California sweepstakes casinos for the state's law.

Regulator letters to McLuck: Maryland and Illinois

Two regulator actions naming McLuck are on record, both from trade press.

The Illinois Gaming Board's own February 5, 2026 release (opens in a new tab) describes letters to more than 60 online casino and sweepstakes platforms.

Maryland is now on McLuck's excluded list. Illinois isn't, so residents there should read the Illinois sweepstakes casino page. Our cease-and-desist letters explainer covers what these letters do.

State sweepstakes bans that affect McLuck in 2025 and 2026

Most of McLuck's exclusions line up with laws passed in the last two years. The dates below come from a third-party tracker checked October 28, 2026.

  • Montana (SB 555) and Connecticut (Public Act 25-112): October 1, 2025.
  • New Jersey (A5447): August 15, 2025. New York (S5935-A): December 5, 2025.
  • California (AB 831): January 1, 2026. Tennessee: May 22, 2026.
  • Indiana (HEA 1052): July 1, 2026. Maine (LD 2007): July 2026.
  • Louisiana (Act 182): August 1, 2026. Oklahoma (SB 1589): November 1, 2026.

InfoLawGroup's 2026 sweepstakes law review (opens in a new tab) corroborates the Indiana, Louisiana, Maine, Oklahoma and Tennessee changes. For more, see sweepstakes casino bans.

McLuck games, providers and apps

A third-party review lists 15 game providers, including Playtech, Playson, Relax Gaming, BGaming, Evoplay, Booming Games, Kalamba Games and Iconic21, and reports apps on the App Store and Google Play.

Recognized studios and app store listings point to an established operation. They don't amount to a gaming license, and they don't change whether sweepstakes play is allowed in your state.

Is McLuck safe for prizes? What's published on redemptions

Third-party figures list redemption minimums of 10 Sweeps Coins for gift cards and 75 Sweeps Coins for cash, with payouts advertised at 1–5 days. Crypto isn't published as an option in the sources we cite.

Advertised speeds are claims, not measurements. Our McLuck redemption guide covers the steps, and the McLuck promo code page shows how far the welcome coins get you.

How to vet McLuck before you buy coins

  1. Check your state against the terms v2.6 list and the ban dates above.
  2. Open the current Terms of Service and confirm the version and date.
  3. Confirm the operator name and company number match B-Two Operations Limited.
  4. Read the redemption rules for minimums, methods and identity checks.
  5. Set a monthly coin budget and keep every receipt.
  6. Recheck if your state passes a new law; terms can change quickly.

Our guide to spotting a rogue casino lists warning signs that apply to sweepstakes sites too.

McLuck vs other sweepstakes casinos: how legit do they look?

Legitimacy is easier to judge side by side. The table compares McLuck with five other sweepstakes brands on three things you can check: whether the operator is named in the brand's own documents, how many states it excludes, and which regulator actions are on record.

Sweepstakes brands compared on transparency and enforcement (checked October 28, 2026)

RealPrizeOwn terms (Realplay Tech Inc.)15 on its rules page; 7 in its termsIllinois
Modo.usOwn rules (ARB Gaming, LLC)17 (official rules)Arizona

McLuck sits in the middle of the pack. It is more open about ownership than brands known only through third-party reports, and its two regulator letters are fewer than Chumba's or LuckyLand's. Its weak spot is the clash between its own exclusion pages. For the other brands, see is Pulsz legit, is RealPrize legit and is Modo.us legit.

A short exclusion list isn't a sign of a better brand. Pulsz's 21 states and McLuck's 16 mostly reflect how quickly each one reacted to new bans in places like Indiana, Louisiana and Tennessee. Where a brand still serves a state that has passed a ban, the risk falls on the player. Check the dates in our sweepstakes casino laws guide against the brand's own list, and treat any gap as a reason to wait.

What to do if McLuck holds a prize or closes your account

No pattern of unpaid McLuck prizes is recorded in the sources we cite. Still, sweepstakes players have fewer complaint routes than players at state-licensed casinos, so it helps to know the order of steps before you need them.

  1. Read the email or message that explains the hold, and note the exact rule McLuck cites.
  2. Compare it with the terms version in force when you signed up, which is why saving a dated copy helps.
  3. Reply in writing with any missing documents, keeping your name and address consistent with your ID.
  4. If support doesn't resolve it, ask for the decision and its reason in writing.
  5. Report the problem to your state attorney general's consumer protection office, and keep copies of every message.
  6. If your state has banned sweepstakes since you joined, check what the terms say about balances in closing states.

Our page on how to complain about an online casino explains which bodies take complaints, and the McLuck redemption guide covers the identity checks that most often cause delays.

Frequently asked questions

Is McLuck a real company?

Yes. McLuck's Terms of Service name B-Two Operations Limited, registered in the Isle of Man under number 021483V, as the operator, and a third-party review says it launched in 2023. A third-party source names B2Services OÜ, described elsewhere as the group's payment services agent. A real company still isn't a state-licensed casino. Our offshore casino glossary entry explains why a foreign address matters.

Is McLuck legal in the US?

McLuck isn't licensed by any US state; it operates under the sweepstakes model. Its own terms exclude 16 states, and ten states have recorded dual-currency sweepstakes bans, most recently Oklahoma from November 1, 2026. Whether McLuck is lawful where you live depends on your state's law. Check your state through our are online casinos legal in the US page.

Has McLuck received a cease-and-desist?

Yes, according to trade press. Covers reported that Maryland's gaming agency had sent McLuck a letter before March 2025, and SportsLine listed McLuck among the Illinois Gaming Board's February 2026 cease-and-desist recipients. These are regulator demands, not court judgments. No Michigan release on record here names McLuck, though Michigan is on its excluded list. See Maryland sweepstakes casinos.

Which states does McLuck exclude?

Terms v2.6, dated October 14, 2026, exclude 16 states: Connecticut, Delaware, Idaho, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Michigan, Montana, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Tennessee, Washington and West Virginia. The terms also rule out promotional contests in California and end Oklahoma play from November 1, 2026. An older help page adds Georgia and Alabama. Our which states ban sweepstakes casinos page explains why.

Does McLuck pay out prizes?

McLuck advertises redemptions in 1–5 days, with reported minimums of 10 Sweeps Coins for gift cards and 75 for cash, per a third-party review. Those are published claims rather than measured results. Make sure your account details match your ID before requesting a prize. Our McLuck redemption guide walks through the process step by step.

Is McLuck connected to Hello Millions?

Reports suggest a group link. A third-party review names B2Services OÜ in connection with McLuck, and Hello Millions describes B2Services OÜ as the group's payment services agent. McLuck's own terms name B-Two Operations Limited as operator. Read both brands' terms if you play at either. See our Hello Millions review for that brand's details.

Why do McLuck's excluded states differ between pages?

Because one page is newer than the other. The Terms of Service v2.6 are dated October 14, 2026 and list 16 states, while an undated help page lists 10, including Georgia and Alabama, which the terms don't. The dated terms are the stronger source, but readers in Georgia or Alabama should check before signing up. Our reading casino terms guide explains how to spot the current version.

Is McLuck safer than an offshore casino?

Neither option has state-licensed protection. McLuck names its operator and publishes dated terms, but it faces state bans and regulator letters. Offshore real-money casinos take deposits and set their own terms, with no state regulator to hear complaints. Weigh what you'd lose if something went wrong. Our player protections comparison covers the gaps in each.

Is McLuck a scam?

No evidence on record shows McLuck is a scam: it names a registered operator, publishes dated terms and is listed on major app stores, according to third-party reviews. The concerns are legal rather than fraud-based. Regulators in Maryland and Illinois have sent it letters, and a growing list of states ban dual-currency sweepstakes outright. A brand can be a genuine business and still be unwelcome in your state. Our guide to spotting a rogue casino lists the warning signs that do suggest a scam.

Is McLuck legit in Florida?

McLuck's terms v2.6 don't list Florida as excluded, and Florida has no sweepstakes casino ban statute; 2026 bills to create one died. That doesn't make the picture settled. Florida law allows game promotions under section 849.094 only when they comply, and third-party reports say the state attorney general filed lawsuits against sweepstakes operators on August 19, 2026. Florida players should watch for changes before buying coins. Our Florida sweepstakes casinos page tracks the state's position and the lawsuits.

What happens to McLuck accounts in Oklahoma?

McLuck's terms v2.6 say it ceases Oklahoma operations on November 1, 2026, the day the state's SB 1589 ban on online casino games and dual-currency sweepstakes took effect. Oklahoma players should expect no further play or prize redemptions under the new law. Reports on the bill also mention liability for promoters and affiliates. If you held an eligible Sweeps Coin balance, contact support in writing about it. Our Oklahoma sweepstakes casinos page covers what SB 1589 changes.

Is the McLuck app safe to download?

McLuck's apps are reported on both the App Store and Google Play, which means they passed those stores' listing reviews, but a store listing is not a gaming license. Download only from the official store pages, never from links in texts or emails, since fake apps and phishing pages copy popular brands. The app doesn't change where McLuck operates; the excluded states still apply. Our page on whether there is a casino app explains how app stores treat casino-style products.

Does McLuck verify your identity?

Expect McLuck to check your identity before paying a prize, as sweepstakes sites generally do, though the document list isn't published in the sources we cite. The safest approach is to register with your legal name and current address so they match your ID from the start. Mismatches are a common reason prizes are held at any site. Read the redemption section of McLuck's terms for its rules. Our guide on how to verify your casino account covers secure ways to send documents.

Is McLuck as legit as Chumba Casino?

Both name their operators in their own terms and both have regulator letters on record, so neither is clearly more legitimate. Chumba, run by VGW Malta Limited, launched in 2012 according to third-party reviews and has a longer enforcement history, including a Delaware order in 2023 and Mississippi orders in June 2025. McLuck launched in 2023 and is named in Maryland and Illinois actions. Longer history means more track record, not more legal cover. Compare in our Chumba legitimacy check.

Can I report McLuck to a state regulator?

You can contact your state gaming regulator or attorney general, but McLuck holds no US state license, so no regulator handles its prize disputes the way it would for a licensed casino. Regulators do collect reports, and some, such as Illinois and Maryland, have acted against McLuck already. For an unpaid prize, start with McLuck's support in writing, then try your state's consumer protection office. Our how to file a casino complaint guide sets out each route in order.
